PanzanoA wonderful eveningWe stumbled upon this place mostly because it was close to our hotel and because it offered bonus points. What an amazing find. Excellent service, great cocktails, awesome wine list... and even better food. Everything was top drawer, from appetizer to dessert.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways Excellent!Stopped in when passing through Denver - Panzano has become our favorite restaurant. Innovative menu, perfectly prepared, great service and a great wine list.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had great food and alsoWe had great food and also for a vegan (me). the waitstaff and host were very friendly, knowledgeable about the food and wine, and very accommodating as we had our 9 month old with us. I will definitely return the next time in denver.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome!!!We went the other night with a group of 12 ladies, old high school friends. Service was great. Food was great. We hadn't seen each other in years, and the waiter was very patient with our chatter and no focus. :). We each enjoyed the food. I personally had the Salmon and it was lovely. Would recommend and will be going back!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful lunchWhile Panzano's power lunch trio was tempting, the special leg of lamb entrée sounded too good to pass up and it lived up to the wonderful description by our terrific waitperson.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent!Food and dessert were excellent. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The brussel sprouts were divine as expected as was everything else.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMSatisfiedPanzano's never dissappoints. Always good food and great service. I was looking for a special Mother's Day afternoon dining experience and got it.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMIncredible!!!Truly some of the best food creations in Denver!! we came back for brunch...and that was possibly even better5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter was exceptional! Our waiter was exceptional! Knew all the food items and described the menu items to a tee. He may have even had a better knowledge of the wonderful wine selections.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome BrunchThird visit with incredable food and service. Never has anyone gone out of their way to make our experience ever lasting.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of our favorite specialOne of our favorite special occasion restaurants. On our anniversary they treated us to some sparkling and a best wishes card. The food was an adventure. The service poised and confident.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful Breakfast/BrunchWe made reservations on a whim this past Sunday because we had always wanted to try Panzano. In short, I was more than impressed. The atmosphere is sophisticated, the menu is inspired, the quality is top notch, and the food overall is amazing. Had their special omelet and it was delicious. The house made bread is phenomenal with a wonderful berry compote. But most impressive was the Polenta Benedict and their Creamy Spiniach Soup. The flavors on both were so fresh and delicate but at the same time rich and indulgent. WOW!!!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful as alwaysOur dinner was wonderful. We took two adults and two 12 year old girls and all enjoyed it! The wait staff was charming, and excellent. They handled our food allergies with concern and discretion. Absolutely wonderful!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Northern Italian FoodReally wonderful northern Italian restaurant. Service was timely and unobtrusive. Waiter was excellent. Was very helpful and engaging. Ended up giving us his card. Wine list is extensive. The food was excellent. Portions were large enough that they could easily be shared. We had a great window table. A bit expensive but we both felt that we got our money's worth. Will certainly be viewed as the high point of our visit to Denver.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMFabuloso Panzano!Panzano is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. You would not normally think about a restaurant on 17th at a hotel (Monaco) as a destination restaurant, but it deserves every consideration. It is professional, comfortable, and serves up some of the best Italian around. They are flexible, you can add and subtract ingredients to taste. We had some Caesar salads with fresh scallops that were just super. Try the Panzano risottos, always great, as well as their signature dishes. Overall, this is a very solid restaurant, good service, and well located (we just walked down from a conference at the Grand Hyatt). Very positive experience all around.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMDining ExperienceWe ate at Panzano's for a celebration lunch. We each ordered a Power Lunch which is a 3 course meal that is well worth the price. The salad primavera was absolutely awesome. The lasagna with homemade noodles was out of this world as was the Saltimbocca di Pollo. The wait staff was extremely gracious and polite. I have eaten at Panzano's several times and find each experience a great one.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing dinnerPhenomenal food and service. The Pastiche was perhaps the best pasta dish I've ever had, and the grilled caesar was one of the best salads I've ever had. Overall, one of the best dinners I've had in Denver.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and service.Excellent food and service. Helpful staff. Try the Brussels sprouts. They're terrific. And the breads are so good you might forget to leave room for dinner.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMOrder the Chef's Tasting Menu.Order the Chef's Tasting Menu. It's a bit pricier than other items on the menu, but you get five small courses of the Chef's recommendations of the day. We had crepes stuffed with mushrooms, a salad with nuts & dates, a lasagne-type pasta, scallops and cheesecake. Delicious! I love that I can order this every time I come here and it will be something new and different.
They have a nice wine menu and I ended up with a tasty glass of Cab. If you are here for Happy Hour or to eat at the bar, good luck! It is PACKED! Reservations at this place are a MUST!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for dinner which wasWe went for dinner which was really good but the real place to be is happy hour. We had a drink in the bar while waiting for our table and they have a lot of the menu available for happy hour in small dishes for $5 and $6, a great way to try everything. Cocktails are reasonable and delicious- try the R and R. I do recommend you skip the Vincigrassi though. Yes, it really is 100 layers but it's like a dry lasagna. Do try the grilled caesar, the pizza, and the bread is outstanding.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMSustainable & Delicious! My favorite Denver restaurant and more so because of their sustainable practices! Love the green features listed on the back of their dinner menu! All the pleasure without any guilt! Always great service, thanks Ray!4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMPasticheThe "Pastiche" was delicious. I would say it had layers of cheese tortellini and not spicy meatballs as the menu says; however, and nonetheless, it was a great dish. It was served in a medium sized pot and remained hot while eating. In the end, the cinnamon and thyme set off the flavor to start. Giving it a sweetness unusual to me in an Italian dish. The octopus appetizer was also a great hit.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food, great ambiance,Excellent food, great ambiance, fantastic place to send a group of out-of-towners after a business meeting and know they'll be dining well.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMExceptional! We had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were there for an anniversaryWe were there for an anniversary and truly enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waiter and busser were knowledgeable and attentive but left us to enjoy each other, only coming by when needed. We also appreciate the organic products and the conscientious presentation of wines and water.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best part of our mealThe best part of our meal was, by far, the Lamb ribs with maple fig glaze... amazing! Overall the meal was delicioWe, the tiramisu was also delicious! We loved our server; he was cheerful and friendly.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother successful meal atAnother successful meal at Panzano. The appetizers were the calamari and lamb ribs. The lamb ribs were a winner with their delightful glaze and tenderness. The calamari was lightly breadedand with a great sauce. They were a tad chewy, but tolerable. The spring salad wasn't really that springy because of the season (early spring) but the goat cheese was top notch. The cauliflower soup was brilliant. It was rich and elegant. The main entrees were the scallops for my partner and the pastiche for me. He loved the scallops and I loved the pastiche although the meat balls were somewhat dry but the flavor was sumptuous. All-in-all a wonderful dinner with few flaws. Would I go back? You bet your sweet Panzano.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAll around Excellent,My wife & I always love finding great places to eat. This is by far one of the best places we've found, the food & help were excellent & the atmosphere was lively. It gets a little loud on a Friday night but not so much that it inhibits your conversation. Hands down one of the best "Let's paint the town" starting spots we've found. Thanks for everything!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and excellent service.Great food and excellent service. The only reason I gave it 4 stars overall is because the previous night we had dinner at Rioja - and that place is a step above Panzano.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMLove Panzano! Our server was great. He made solid recommendations and was very personable. Our dinner was excellent. The grilled octopus appetizer was amazing. Very good atmosphere for a business dinner.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAs first time customers atAs first time customers at Panzano, my friend and I thought the quality of food and service was excellent. Our waiter and busser were knowledgeable and attentive but also left us alone to chat. We also appreciate the organic products and especially enjoyed the fried brussel sprouts which I highly recommend!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent pasta with duckExcellent pasta with duck ragu and a surprising spring salad, that was very, very good. (Hadn't expected pistachios and raspberries, but it really worked .). Would certainly return the next time we are in Denver.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOur dinner at Panzano's inOur dinner at Panzano's in Denver was awesome! The service was impeccable and the food abnsoultely delicious! We had the Chef's tasting menu in order to experience many of the dishes. The Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Green Apple was very nice and the Ceasar Salad with grilled Romaine was tasty. My favorite was the pastiche. Everything was very delicious. Chef Elise Wiggins and her staff represent the best in the business, in my opinion! I cannot wait to go back and it would be worth the flight from NC to Colorado to appreciate this place again.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThe cheese and meat boardThe cheese and meat board was fabulous, really unique and different. There was a nice selection of wines and the service was very attentive. Our large group was seated in the back where we had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA Must when in DenverWonderful meal. Panzano is a must for anyone coming to downtown Denver. The menu is amazing for foodies, the service was impeccable.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for a birthday dinnerThey were fabulous with our birthday group of 10 plus a baby! Prompt attentive service. Special attention to my daughter. The food was great and plentiful. We couldn't have asked for a nicer way to celebrate!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMLove their house-made pasta.Love their house-made pasta. Really enjoyed the brussels sprouts appetizer (try it, unbelievers!). Great recommendations from our waitress for wines. We'll always come back to this great, reliable favorite.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMFood had incredible flavorsFood had incredible flavors and service was outstanding! Highly recommend4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMMichael, our waitor was terrific.Michael, our waitor was terrific. The food was very good except the wild boar bolognese was too salty. Ate it anyway....mushroom crepe appetizer was delightful.
We'll be back4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic MenuI am from an area in Italy north of Venice in the Dolomite region, and the dishes we shared at Panzano's were very authentic to the Region.
GOOD JOB!
Grazie Tanto...4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was truly innovativeThe food was truly innovative and delicious, service very attentive and well organized - not rushed and easily finished in time for the opera. Our group of 6 was delighted and we all look forward to returning. An added bonus was the quiet, pleasant atmosphere - very important to friends who enjoy being able to converse.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways an enjoyable dinnerExcellent food with some unique offerings. Service is very attentive and knowledgeable. A little pricey but great for special occasions.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMApart from not being fancyApart from not being fancy myself, I was treated like every other guest and without judgement. The food was amazing and I am very pleased. Thank you.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a superb Easter brunchWe had a superb Easter brunch with great service from Jennifer. Our meal included both the lavish buffet and an entree selection. There was so much food, we took the delectable lasagne with us and enjoyed it the next day. Everything was first-rate, with a great variety. This may need to become an annual tradition for us!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster brunch is always aEaster brunch is always a gamble. Our gamble paid off as we enjoyed an excellent brunch AND service at Panzano on Easter Sunday. The fixed price menu offers a great buffet of salmon, vegatables, salads, and a lamb carving station follwed by an entree from a diverse list of choices. Three people at my table are fairly "pickey" about their food and each one gave a thumbs up. The restaurant also offers gluten free options which makes it a perfect choice for brunch, happy-hour, or dinner.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have eaten at Panzano forWe have eaten at Panzano for dinner and brunch. I am impressed by their sustainable philosophy, the attentive staff and the amazing food! the chef's ability to combine interesting flavor and pair unlikely ingredients into an amazing dishes keeps bringing us back!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMHit and MissCalamari was rubbery & I ate only a small portion of it. Waiter offered to replace it but I declined. I don't think it was removed from my bill; can't recall. I waited quite awhile to receive my entree, so much so that the waiter offered a complimentary intermezzo. I found out the reason it was taking so long was that he punched in the wrong order (lasagna). I had ordered the pumpkin-stuffed agnolotti, which takes just a very few minutes to prepare. I had also ordered the fried Brussels sprouts to be served with my entrée. Because it was brought with the lasagna I ate it while waiting for the right entrée. Despite the sprouts & agnolotti being excellent, I'm very unlikely to return.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMBARKING DOG allowed in Panzanos...!The food was "superb". The service by Ron the waiter was "excellent"! However, the barking, howling dog was most unpleasant. The on-site manager came over to apologize to say the women dining in the prime window seat "claims" the animal was a "trained service dog". I have never seen nor heard of a licensed trained service dog "bark" in a restaurant. The owner is required to have on their person at all times documents representing the dog is a certified service dog. Normally the dog also wears a vest. I am also told official certified service dogs will have tattoo on the inside of one of their ears.
The barking whinning dog made the dining experience at Panzano's less than it should have been.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMOur service here was impeccable! Our service here was impeccable! They offered us a free toast with champagne for our anniversary & the server had excellent food & wine suggestions as well. We had the Cavolini di Bruxelles/ fried Brussels sprouts which were delicious, the Pastiche: also, AMAZING, & the Braciola di Maiale Affumicato/ Smoked Berkshire pork chop over pumpkin gnocchi, fonduta and cranberry rosemary marmalade which was good but a little dry on the pork itself. We finished with the Tiramisu which honestly rivaled any that I've had before. Great food & Great experience. We will definitely be going back!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
