  • "I took my husband to Panzano for his 28th Birthday and we had the time of our life. The server was outstanding and made sure that we tried the best of everything on the menu. He was also sure to make my husband's birthday special by offering a complimentary champagne toast and dessert. The food was delicious and very unique, one of the best dinners I've ever experienced. It was truly a special evening and if you haven't been here, you definitely need to put Panzanos at the top of your list!"

  • "It's hard to make Italian great, at least that has been my experience. Both the service and the food at Panzano were excellent. They even had hot hostesses (shockingly.) My only complaint is that the wine list was pretty corporate run of the mill stuff without much in the way of exploration. I was told after the fact they have a few off list bottles in back, but wasn't made aware of that by the waiter. All in all, an excellent meal. I'd say just bring your own bottle, but in Colorado that is still illegal."

  • "This was our 3rd visit to Panzano and - as with the past two - it was fabulous. The food has always been great and our server this time - Brian - was terrific. He was funny and attentive. We both ordered the the Chef's Tasting Menu and I very highly recommend that you go that route. All four courses were expertly prepared and tasted incredible. The wine list is on an iPad and over the top. We will be back! Thank you Brian and thanks to Chef Elise."

  • "We came to Denver to go white water rafting and that night we had a craving for Italian food. The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our table started with the Fiori di Zucca which were delicious and all tried the soup which that day was a cream of broccoli which was also very delicious! Based on Yelp reviews, two of us tried the Pastiche and they were not disappointed. I tried the Gnocchi al Coniglio and my plate was clean at the end. The rabbit and gnocchi were cooked perfectly! The other dish one of the group tried was the Garganelli con Pollo and he was very happy. We left that night full of wine and pasta and were all happy with our decision to try Panzano."

  • "From beginning to end everything at Panzano was great! Dimitri was our server and he did a fantastic job. He was bright and friendly, my family likes to joke around and he was able to play right along with it. We tried the brussels sprouts which the restaurant is known for and they were fantastic. The perfect combination of salty and sweet! This was a great dinner for my first visit to Denver!"

  • "Good Happy Hour, don't bother with dinner. Over priced and only a few additional items on the menu compared to the happy hour menu. We foolishly ordered dessert. The Earl Gray cake was literally the size of a thimble for nine dollars. How vain is this owner/chef that they feel it is appropriate to serve something so ridiculous."

  • "I was amazed when I raved about their short ribs and the manager told me I could request them for a special occasion. They made them just for my table. They are the best short ribs in Denver. This is my go to restaurant for special occasions. The Budino is a great dessert and travels well I found out after I stuffed myself on the short ribs. Ron is a great waiter who remembers us over the years."

  • "Everything about the meal was delicious! Scallops were perfect, selection of wines was very good, waiter was knowledgeable about food. Water was always filled, plates taken away in a timely manner (but not pushy). We had a famly style menu - so we had Fried Oysters (not fishy at all or heavily breaded) 3 different sales, all very good. Gnochi with rabbit - amazing! Ok, but why I gave them 5 stars is i left my keys and went and saw a movie (didn't know I lost them till in the middle) - called them at Midnight, the night managered waited until I could get there - which was around 12:30 - she waited that entire time just so that I oould get my keys. If I hadn't got them, I wouldn't have been able to get in my apartment! THAT is a cut above!"

  • "I had eaten here once for a work event and was thoroughly impressed. Decided to go again for dinner on my birthday with the girlfriend and was not disappointed. All of the pasta is fresh and you can tell the care that went into making it, and the wait staff is extremely knowledgable on the menu. Bottom line unless you are very well off it's not an every night type of restaurant, but if you make a reservation for a special occasion you will be very happy (and full). Also my girlfriend lost an expensive earring while we were eating, wait staff found it immediately and held it safely in the lockbox until I could return a few days later, very much appreciated."

  • "We were visiting CO from NM and we decided to celebrate our anniversary in downtown Denver. We stayed at the Residence Inn and was looking for somewhere within walking distance to have dinner. Panzano's was the closest, and were not disappointed. The staff and service were exchange the food was delicious. We received complimentary samples of the Brussel sprouts (which were amazing) and complimentary peach bellini's because it was our anniversary. We love this place!"

  • "The wine and service were fantastic! The brussel sprout appetizer was good as was the salted Carmel gelato. BUT the entrees were terrible. My friend got the veal, their "signature dish". The veal had no seasoning and was rubbery. He didn't even finish it. I got a pasta for $25 and it had about 10 bites total. It was an appetizer portion at the most and it tasted like a rosemary bush. Way heavy on the singular herb. So his was way under seasoned and mine way over. It was just bad. Not even close to worth it."

  • "This restaurant has an inventive menu of mostly gourmet northern Italian foods - with many new touches. A favorite appetizer was the Brussels Sprouts - lightly fried in oil with pistachios and apple. Fabulous flavors! My pasta was made on premises and was flavored with squid ink and nicely balanced with a citrus butter sauce and shrimp. Homemade sorbets in pear, mango and raspberry were a fitting finish. Definitely a place for a special occasion, although the menu choices were not vast. Picky eaters might have trouble."

Veal Marsalla came straight from the sole of an old Nike sneaker. Wait staff was so in attentive they wouldn't have known if we left without paying the check. This was a low light for our Denver trip!"

  • " Chef immediately gave us tastings of 2 of the appetizers which set the stage for the dining experience of our lives. We decided on the oysters, soaked in buttermilk and lightly fried. Amazing! We were presented with a peach sorbet to cleanse our palates, and then the best veal I've ever tasted. My husband chose the homemade pasta and meatballs, a serving enough for 3. The personalized service, both from the exquisite service and cooking staff made our anniversary one we will never be able to top."

  • "For being a slow night and arriving at an early time, the wait staff really made us feel rushed and hurried, while there were many vacant tables available around us. Some of our food was served cold and the food came so fast we did not have any time to enjoy the bread and a glass of wine. Panzano used to be a favorite place to take family, friends and business people. I actually selected a different restaurant for a business meeting for a party of nine for this week due to my disappointing experience."

  • "I brought a work group here for lunch to welcome some new associates. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver and I come here frequently for work dinners and date nights, and have always had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing as ususal, but the service was not great this time. It was a work-day lunch and the meal lasted well over an hour and a half, largely because our waiter was MIA. Hoping it was just a fluke because I've always had exceptional service when I've come for dinner."

  • "Celebrated my wife's b'day here on Sunday June 8. Got there way early and had a couple drinks in the bar. Great cocktail menu and Happy Hour small plates. We were seated for dinner and I never saw food come out of a kitchen that fast. Everything was wonderful. Hot and tasty. Great staff. They even comped a tiramisu for my wife. I will keep this one for special occasions."

  • "Got the chef's tasting. Said it was 5 courses but we actually got 6. First was the fried brussel sprouts with some finely diced apples and awesome sauce. Second was a wedge salad. Wasn't memorable for me but my girlfriend loved it. Third was my favorite...it was ravioli stuffed with beets and was totally amazing. Fourth was a scoop of raspberry sorbet as a pallet cleanser but also a pretty stellar first dessert. Fifth we had the scallops with asparagus. Sixth was a caramel pudding with some yogurt and an almond cookie. Oh yeah and the bread with sun dried tomato sauce was insane. Our server, Papa was super friendly, funny, and genuine."
