I flew in from San Francisco with my girls to celebrate with the family and enjoyed it very much. This place would be an instant hit in North Beach with pasta and fish dishes to rival any top Italian bistro. We started with appetizer pizzas and artichoke salads and my sister and I shared the halibut and a specially layered pasta dish featuring eggplant and spaghetti in the center. All of the entrees were delightful: well cooked and presented and the service was top notch. Great atmosphere, attentive yet not overbearing service, extensive wine list, wonderful mixed drinks, fine menu selection. We appreciated the subtle lighting adjustments throughout the evening. There was a very lively crowd this Friday night, although some would call it noisy. The only possible quibble would be if Panzarella could figure out a way to debone fish more quickly at the table. All in all a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter and the service staff were excellent, and all of the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The wait staff are prompt, knowledgable and also very friendly. The food is fantastic and always consistent.
