I booked the restaurant online from San Diego not knowing anything about the restaurant. Some locals told me how good the restaurant was after I booked it. It turned out to be true. All the food we ate was fresh and quality. My 97 year old mother liked it and she is hard to please. It is a culinary gem in Paso Robles.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Local Dining OptionMy parents have lived in Paso Robles for over 25 years and I have been visiting them from the Bay Area since they moved in the late '80's. I have watched the food scene evolve, along with the community, from small rural town greasy spoon food to more sophisticated food fare. Panolivo was a great addition to the food scene and continues to have an important place in the dining options here in Paso. They have recently remodeled the interior seating and I would say it is superior to the previous layout. The food menu has not changed much and continues to be pleasing. The coffee and quiche are always standouts for me. We were greeted immediately as we entered, and the service throughout the meal was perfect! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Our meals were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. None of our group had ever been to Paso Robles, so it seemed like a good idea to stop there and try Panolivo's (decision based on their website photos and menu info). I made the reservation through Open Table, but we actually arrived an hour early. Our table was ready and waiting, so they seated us right away in the back of a large back room where it was quiet and we could easily converse.
