  • "Outstanding view! Food was great! service a little slow due to staff short handed. All in All a great time. Will definately be back!"

  • "we had items from the special menu and regular menu/ the appitizers were muscels in a great tangy sauce and fried articokes with lemon, both were great. Dinner for 4 all loved and tried something different. Coffee and cappichino to end, no room for desert although there were very tempting choices. We love this place and its a bring your own so we get our favorites to drink."

  • "We have enjoyed Panini Bay on several occasions, but we were a bit disappointed with our visit on 6/29/14. While service staff were very attentive, we waited well over an hour for our dinner to be served. When it arrived, our food was not as hot (temperature wise) as it should have been."

  • "Enjoyed the food and the views. A little noisy, but I liked it because we are a little chatty ourselves. Would definitely go back"

  • "Tucked away, along the bay, in Tuckerton. The service was friendly and attentive. The building, renovated after Sandy, is small, but modern. Large sliding windows allowed the evening breeze in and the view of the sun glistening on the water was lovely. The food is exquisite. The presentation beautiful. Totally enjoyed our meal and the experience. And since it is a BYOB, it is very affordable. We will be back!!!"

  • "Got the Pulled Pork and Reuben sandwiches. Very Yummy and would return again. The view was fantastic. Ony slight negative were the stale potato chips. Nice job!"

  • "This restaurant advertises Thursdays as Panini Night. When we were seated at our table, we were given the regular menu and had to ask for the Panini menu - this is the second time this has happened. When my panini came, it was not as described. It had no mustard on it and turkey instead of ham. It was awhile before our server came back to check if everything was ok, she immediately recognized the problem and took the sandwich back to the kitchen. She then brought me some of their home-made chips to munch while I was waiting for my sandwich. When our bill came, the waitress informed us that my panini had been taken off the bill. I said that was not necessary, but she insisted. Lesson here for me - stay with the regular menu!"

  • "We were greeted by the hostess with an attitude! This restaurant has a deck area with views of the bay. We had requested a table of six in that area. What we got was a table for four next to the kitchen and where patrons were waiting to be seated. We were being stared at through out dinner. We requested to be changed to tables that were vacant in a better location and were rudely denied. However the food was good and our waitress was excellent. They need to get rid of the hostess."

  • "I'm happy to report that Panini Bay is back and better than ever! My wife and I went for our 32nd wedding anniversary on 6/20/14 and had a wonderful time. The new views are breathtaking and the food was flawless!"

  • "This is our favorite place to eat "down the shore". It's off the beaten track and it's location is what makes this restaurant so special! The food is good...though the prices seemed to have gone up a bit. The bolgnase sauce is delicious! Worth the cost! The clams frm Parsons Fish market are delicious and fresh..my husband had the clams and sausage over red pasta...very yummy And a very generous portion! The salads were very small and not that exciting...though if they have the fried artichoke appy DON'T MISS IT! Extraordinary! Better then the ones we had in Rome! Request searing "on the porch" . If you are a boater you can ride your boat over and dock it outside the restaurant. Nice also that it's a BYOB."

  • "Panini Bay has been rebuilt after Sandy and they now take reservations. It is now higher (there is a lift for those who need it) and the water views even more inviting than before. The menu is pretty much the same. We asked for a table by the window when we made our reservation on Open Table and, despite a crowded room, we were shown to our table for four at the window. The new dining room has more space between tables and this is definitely better for staff who can now move about without bumping into diners. We have always loved the food and appreciate the BYOB. Note: There are a few tables in a room away from the "porch." These are darker and the view is either blocked or only partially visible."

  • "If you want a great romantic meal with really good food, stop in. Just don't tell anyone - it will be too crowded the next time you come back! Crab stuffed Jalapeno appetizer was brilliant, the Cesar salad tasty and the clams and sausage in red sauce was awesome. Dessert and coffee rounded out the meal. Keep the good food coming."

  • "Very good food, reasonably priced, great view of bay. Service was mediocre that evening. A bit noisy (needs sound baffling)."

  • "Wonderful dining in a beautiful setting with exceptional service. Italian food at its best. Our party of 5, enjoyed 2 orders of calamari and the special appetizer of the day. Our entrees were cooked to order which gave us plenty of time to enjoy our (BYOB) bottle of wine while taking in the wonderful twilight views of the bay. Service from Kim, was friendly and professional. Entrees of Tilapia, Scallops, Veal Parm. & Veal Scallopini were enjoyed by all. We did splurge on a couple of desserts but the standout here was the Coconut Custard Pie!"

  • "Too long to have our orders taken. Served bread with out butter-had to find waitress. Salad-too limp and overdressed. Entrees were good. The tables were crowded and the noise level ridiculously loud. We would not visit again."

  • "There is not a better view from any restaurant in this area. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and willing to assist us in every way. Three of us ordered the Tuna Special (rare). Two came out well and one was medium. We pointed this out to our server, and they offered to correct this. I would say that the kitchen took a longer time than it should have to prepare the replacement dishes. When we were served again the food temperature was perfect. The only major issue was the noise level we encountered, it was almost unbearable. It appears that they are aware of this in that they have placed acoustic tiles on either end of the ceiling, but this has not rectified the problem. (I had to cut this review to stay within the limit)!"

  • "My sister and I recently had dinner at this beautifully renovated restaurant destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. We had a wonderful meal and were waited on by very friendly attentive waitresses. We look forward to returning to not only enjoy the food, but also the fabulous water view!"

  • "Wonderful view. Excellent food and presentation. Great variety and daily specials. Service was a little slower than it should have been. The noise level was a little high, but my wife and I are more sensitive than the average patron for medical reasons."

  • "Mother's Day dining can be a bit of a disappointment because of the crowds, so it is normal to lower one's expectations on that day. Panini Bay was just the opposite! They were jamming as you might imagine but the food and the service were both excellent. They did not miss a beat on providing great service and the food was superb. Looking forward to our next visit."

  • "It was Mother's Day and this place was hopping. Our table was ready and because of the location, everyone on the former terrace has a fabulous view. We brought our own wine and champagne, so glasses were brought immediately, our server was on the spot. The menu had some really wonderful sounding specials and the 3 of us opted for 3 different ones. Each of us thought our choices were terrific, one a creamy pasta with shrimp, one a miso glazed tuna and mine a really fabulous seared sea scallops over a white bean ragu. This is not our first time at the restaurant, each time has been wonderful, this has become our favorite for a truly wonderful dining experience. Terrific service, spectacular views, and absolutely yummy food. "

  • "Panini Bay was a great choice for a special occasion. The food was good, especially the artichoke hearts appetizer. A bit pricey for everyday dining, but the bay view in the summer would be fantastic. Overall a great dining experience. "

  • "Bright and airy with great water views. Food was served hot and very delicious. Limited menu but finding a meal for anyone would not be a challenge. Planning a return trip!"

  • "Pannini Bay is back and better than ever. Great service and no more plastic chairs! I took weekend guests there on Sat. evening and they were impressand and pleased all around. All the tables were occupied, so the good word must be out. "

  • "Prior to Hurricane Sandy, Panini Bay was an excellent restaurant. Now that it has been rebuilt following Sandy, it is significantly better."

  • "As usual, the food was terrific and service great!"

  • "This restaurant is certainly a little gem in our town. Beautiful, scenic, right on the water. Terrific in the summer. Food is excellent, have never had a bad meal there, though the menu is somewhat limited, the food is the best around. They now take reservations for party as small as 2 people. We went on a Thursday evening and it was packed, just to show you the popularity of this fine restaurant. Service is excellent, they make you feel right at home. So glad the restaurant reopened after Sandy."

  • "Food was fresh and very good! It's a smaller restaurant so there was a larger group next to us which caused the noise level to be pretty high. We also went for lunch one day! Bread was fantastic!!! The owner chef is very friendly and caring of the product he puts out!!"

  • "Panini Bay is back and in a big way. This was our first visit since the rebuild after Superstorm Sandy and we loved it. Once again, the food was wonderful and we can't wait to return."

  • "Saw this place on TripAdvisor. We had a table of 5. It's right on the water in Tuckerton and the views over the bay were fantastic - we could see to Atlantic City. Appetisers - Calamari was light and tender and accompanying marinara flavourful. Very good. Bruschetta with pancetta was fantastic. Biggest win was jalapeño poppers stuffed with lump crab and wrapped in pancetta Dinners were plentiful and delicious. Clam sauce had a ridiculous amount of clams as did the Hot sausage and clam (giant) bowl. Pasta's were cooked perfectly and sauces were seasoned just right. Prices were a hair on the high side but given all the above I felt we got what we paid for. It's BYOB as well which is great. All in all - highly recommended, will be going again."

  • "Beautiful views and consistently good food. Visited on a Thursday night which happens to be Panini Night with about 10 meal choices at around $10, a great value. We opted to order off the menu and shared the fresh clam & sausage dinner as an appetizer for 3, and as always excellent. Fresh fish was great, but the Veal Milanese was just ok. We dine here a few times a month and you will never be disappointed."

  • "Went to Panini Bay with family. Arrived as the sun was setting. Views were spectacular. Service was excellent and the menu choices were good. Food was very good and I had a great meal. Would definitely go back. They are a BYOB so dinner was very affordable."

  • "So pleased to see one of our favorite places re-opened post Sandy. All the good eats just as we remember. Fresh, fresh seafood and reliable regular entrees. Always something exciting to try on the specials. Never disappointing. Enjoyed the final light of day with husband's favorite calamari and craft brew (BYO). Dinner special tilapia was outstanding."
