  • "Food was fresh and very good! It's a smaller restaurant so there was a larger group next to us which caused the noise level to be pretty high. We also went for lunch one day! Bread was fantastic!!! The owner chef is very friendly and caring of the product he puts out!!"

  • "Panini Bay is back and in a big way. This was our first visit since the rebuild after Superstorm Sandy and we loved it. Once again, the food was wonderful and we can't wait to return."

  • "Saw this place on TripAdvisor. We had a table of 5. It's right on the water in Tuckerton and the views over the bay were fantastic - we could see to Atlantic City. Appetisers - Calamari was light and tender and accompanying marinara flavourful. Very good. Bruschetta with pancetta was fantastic. Biggest win was jalapeño poppers stuffed with lump crab and wrapped in pancetta Dinners were plentiful and delicious. Clam sauce had a ridiculous amount of clams as did the Hot sausage and clam (giant) bowl. Pasta's were cooked perfectly and sauces were seasoned just right. Prices were a hair on the high side but given all the above I felt we got what we paid for. It's BYOB as well which is great. All in all - highly recommended, will be going again."

  • "Beautiful views and consistently good food. Visited on a Thursday night which happens to be Panini Night with about 10 meal choices at around $10, a great value. We opted to order off the menu and shared the fresh clam & sausage dinner as an appetizer for 3, and as always excellent. Fresh fish was great, but the Veal Milanese was just ok. We dine here a few times a month and you will never be disappointed."

  • "Went to Panini Bay with family. Arrived as the sun was setting. Views were spectacular. Service was excellent and the menu choices were good. Food was very good and I had a great meal. Would definitely go back. They are a BYOB so dinner was very affordable."

  • "So pleased to see one of our favorite places re-opened post Sandy. All the good eats just as we remember. Fresh, fresh seafood and reliable regular entrees. Always something exciting to try on the specials. Never disappointing. Enjoyed the final light of day with husband's favorite calamari and craft brew (BYO). Dinner special tilapia was outstanding."

  • "Ate there before Sandy damage and went again to support local dining in our town. We really wanted to love it but the quality and service just wasn't there. We went for Valentine's Day lunch and had the clams, which were chewy and the burger was OK. They had NO desserts for Valentines Day, which surprised me. I think this place is better in the Summer than the "off" season but I don't think we will be going back :-("

  • "We are so thrilled that Pannini Bay is back after "Sandy". It has. Been remodeled but still has the old charm that it had prior to Sandy. The view is exceptional...you feel like you are on a boat! If you are lucky enough to come during "sunset". It is magnificent! We haven't been there for dinner since it reopened. The lunch menu is good and reasonable. My only complaint is I miss being able to order some of the Appys from the dinner menu...don't always want a sandwich and basically that is all that is offered...besides the pasta with clams or ravioli s. my husband had the clams which are always fresh and fabulous....the waitress brought him bread in a basket....3 tiny pieces. Looked like it was left over from another lunch! Will be back"

  • "Enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends right on the water. Newly renovated, the upstairs seating gave a magnificent view. I had a salad and chicken parm. Very good. Will definitely return."

  • "Prior to hurricane Sandy, this was one of our favorites. They have recently reopened following major renovations with the new Chef/owner who bought it few months before the storm. Let me start my saying the wait staff is great, some of the same pre-storm. Many of the menu items are the same as the previous owner. The food was good but not great. 2 items on the night's special list were sold out. My son had a rib eye that was certainly not worth the $34 as he could only eat about 5 of the 14 ounces because of fat. Salad and soup are extra and while with tip $140 for 3 at a byob with only 1 dessert is not unbelievable for what we ate we found it to be pricey. Realizing it is off season we will try again but we have had better for less."

  • "We are so happy that Panini Bay overcame the destruction of Super Storm Sandy. The remodeling has made it a little roomier with a warmer feel. We have been to dinner on 4 different occasions since it reopened and each time the food has been exceptional. The artichoke appetizer, soups, salads are fresh and delicious. The tuna (now only on the specials not the regular menu) was done to perfection. Actually everything that we have tried has been most enjoyable. The specials are varied and the old favorites remain on the menu. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and sit back and relax!"

  • "Being a local, we were thrilled that Panini Bay is back and better than ever since Sandy! The dining areas have been expanded, the atmosphere and ambience provided us with an overall fabulous experience for a date-night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating....we'll be back on a regular basis!"

  • "Panini Bay was good before Hurricane Sandy, but now, with the restoration of the restaurant, it is both beautiful, magnificent view, and the best food in South Ocean County. A true gem at Tuckerton Bay, so don't miss it. Congrats to Chef Ivar and Emily, his wife, for a job well done! It rates a five star from us. Can't wait to return...."

  • "I would highly recommend this GREAT italian eatery as the food is fabulous! We were so happy to hear that they were reopening this fall. We have missed going out for a really good meal in the area. Everything on the menu is worth trying. I am looking forward to next summer and having a nice view of the sunset as we dine there. Can't wait!!!"

  • "Veal Milanese that we've been getting most of the time we visited was not the same. They changed the breading and the portions of romaine and other salad stuff was cut back. Disappointed"

  • "This small Italian restaurant is tucked away down a long road in the middle of a nature preserve. You can't find a place with more beautiful views of the bay, Atlantic city, and LBI! In the warmer weather the boaters come in via their boats and dock at the pier. The food is fabulous and fresh. It you like clams the clams and linguini is delicious! Clams caught fresh from Parsons seafood down the road. IPaninin was destroyed by hurricane Sandy and just opened in November. We went for lunch...the Reuben was great...lean and not greasy. Fish sandwich was also delicious. Place looks gorgeous! So happy they rebuilt! Only complaint is I wish they'd let you order off the dinner menu at lunch time. Dinner entres look wonderful..."
