  • "I can remember many enjoyable special dinners here. Times have changed. The atmospere is wonderful. The food was very good. The service was unattentive. We waited 20 minutes for water. Was told that bread was 'on the way'. I guess it walked from a bakery because that was another wait. We ordered a bottle of good white wine. It was served a little above room temp. We struck up a conversation with another waiter i recognized from the past. He took over and redeemed the meal. As a side comment, years ago a coworker arrived to eat dinner with a group of us. He wore a sweater and not a jacket. We had to move to the lounge area. Could not sit in dinning area. We understood. This time we were seated next to a man in shorts and flip flops."

  • "I purchased a Groupon and was looking forward to my visit. The restaurant has a very nice décor and ambience. Our waitstaff was absolutely wonderful! The food, on the other hand was not... It had a lot more Spanish influence than Italian. Our appetizers were very good, but our entrees were quite disappointing. My companions veal marsala was pedestrian at best, and my overpriced pasta with broccoli rabe and chicken was awful! the chicken was dry and it had barely any pasta, or broccoli rabe! it had more hot cherry peppers than anything... The waiter was very apologetic and the manager came over and offered to make me something else. I ended-up with a crème brulee and a Baileys! I won't be returning."

  • "Tried this place for the first time. The food was passable--had a chicken dish and thought the chicken was over cooked. I also thought this place was a little over priced and considering most of the dishes can be had at any Italian restaurant (including pizzarias for far less). I also thought the $3.50 per soft drink glass was high. You can make fresh brewed tea with a 10-cent tea bag and tap water, which they give you for free, so to charge that much because you're adding tea from a tea bag and then charge for refills on top of it was tacky."

  • "We were dining at your restaurant for a birthday celebration for my Mom. We wee the only table besides a loud party in the front of the restaurant. Our service was horrible. we aired 15 minutes to get a drink order. It then took another 15 minutes to get the drink. We placed our order and were ignored once the food came. The pasta my Mom ordered was undercooked and had no sauce . The brochetta was overdone and burned on the outside. The bronzing fish I ordered was small and overpriced. It was 35.00 for a tiny piece. Overall service and food were terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "We went to Panico's for our wedding anniversary, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent, and the service outstanding. We enjoyed everything we ate. One slight complaint: the wine list is quite expensive, with a few exceptions. We were able to get a good merlot from their house wine list, but that was the cheapest wine on the list. All in all, an excellent restaurant. "

  • "Last minute Easter afternoon scramble and Open Table was there to help. Party of five, we were seated immediately and wait staff was quick to take drink orders. Staff was predominantly Spanish and some of the items on the menu leaned towards that theme as the menu mentions the head chefs name . Anyway, they were excellent, very professional and willing to deviate from menu descriptions upon request. Ordered varied items, chicken dish, filet of sole, francese and penne with vodka sauce and Easter special ham.Also had calamari app. All we're cooked perfectly. Deserts varied and were delicious. Wines at about nine bucks per glass. All in all a good experience . Just not sure if this isn't more Spanish than Italian."

I have not been to the restaurant in quite some time, I had business associates in from out of town and it made for a very long evening that should not have been.   • "I took my SO to Panico's for a late Valentine's dinner. The service there was fantastic. We were seated straight away and our waiter was very professional and attentive. He was knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu and was able to recommend something for each of our tastes. The food came out in a timely fashion and was very good. It is a bit on the pricey side, but what you'd expect for a restaurant that provides the service and ambiance that Panico's does."

  • "We were a party of five on an early Sunday evening. Perhaps two more tabes were occupied, clearly not too busy, yet, we had to wait almost an hr, before our food arrived. Actually, first I had to Inquire how soon to expect our dishes. After all the wait, side dishes were substituted without informing us, and one dish on the menu wasn't even available. The food was mediocre, (3) OK, one, my fish (3 ordered one available) was burned to a crisp. The wait staff wasn't attentive at all, and I would not return or recommend this restaurant."

The food was not great, my salmon was ok but the rice and vegetables were cold. The waiter saw i did not eat my entree so he comped my dinner which i must say was unexpected."

  • "We had dinner reservations for 6PM, thought 2 hr would be enough time not to be late for a show starting at 8.We told the waitress at the begining of the meal. Her answer was s is everyone else here. Our meal came at 7:45. Te filet mignon was so raw I couldn't eat it and no time to end it back. We would suggest another restaurant to an one with show tickets, or allow 3 hours."

  • "We went out on wife wife birthday to the place she picked it it was a great choice. The waiter and his assistant were great from the start. He reciting of the specials were done very well and he included all the ingredients to help us make the right choices. We all shared some Calamari the each of us had 3 different salads before our main courses. The night was finished of with a apple tart and some capachinos . Price was expensive but I saw the menu before hand and knew that going there. Plus it was once a year dinner celebration. We did not make a big deal of my wife b-day because she did not want that."

Menu had slight twists from the traditional--the calimari with chorizo sausage was terrific, but then standards like veal francese offered classic tastes and no surprises. Waiters and service was top-of-the-line professional without being pretentious. Live guitarist was noticeable, but not overbearing. All-in-all, just a wonderful old-fashioned dining experience."

  • "Food was ok. Started w/ tuna appetizer, it was bland. Husband ordered linguini w/seafood, said it was ok. Again, bland. I ordered lemon sole. It was served breaded & fried. I would never ordered it knowing it'd be prepared that way...should have asked being it wasn't stated. My mistake! Would have made a better sandwich w/tartar at a fast food restaurant. Came with risotto. Again, bland! Couple we dined with seemed ok w/ their meals. Veal and steak special. At least they didn't say anything, perhaps to avoid insulting or poor choice. The peanut butter dessert was good. Service...simply was terrible. Friendly waiters but we had to ask for drinks, never checked on us, left dishes for a long time, not what you'd expect when dishing out $200"

  • "Before going to the State Theater we dined at Panico's. The lovely, quiet interior enhanced the delicious meal. Splitting the succulent calamari was a meal in itself. We liked how it was served on two plates with the sauce separately. One diner chose the special lemon sole dinner and the other veal marsala over farfalle. Both were delicious and made enough for a take-home meal. We split a cannoli for dessert and were surprised when two appeared on the plate. They were rich and sweet. The service is excellent."

  • "The food was good as usual. Service was disappointing and amateurish. "Who ordered the pasta special" is a question that should not need to be asked, and several people were served the wrong dishes but we swapped among ourselves. After dinner the waiter asked if we wanted coffee and the answer was no. He then began collecting the dessert menus until we stopped him and explained that we did want dessert, just not coffee. They need to have more training."
