There were a lot of open tables. The food was good but nothing special that I couldn't make in my own kitchen (and I'm only a half decent cook). Very overpriced for what it was. 3 glasses of wine, 3 small salads, 3 small mains, 1 dessert, 3 cups of coffee - $260. As always we were warmly greeted by Peter and felt to be at home. Because we were going to the opera, we took an early seating at 5PM, and there was only one other diner when we arrived, so very quiet. By the time we left at 7, there was a little more life, but still sparse for a Saturday evening. My wife was disappointed that the beet salad that been on the menu our last two visits was no longer available, but we enjoyed the meal immensely. Even after a year, they know my name and the service and attention is always exquisite. The menu is innovative and the food excellent. All my party loved what they ate. The wine flowed as did the conversation in a restaurant that is spacious enough to hear everyone clearly and not listen to other diners.
