Pangaea is a two-tiered restaurant with an eighteen foot high ceiling, situated on Bay Street in the heart of Bloor/Yorkville. Established in 1996, Pangaea can seat 150 guests, and has Private Dining areas that can accommodate groups of 8 – 150. The eclectic menu has a Canadian sensibility… whilst taking ideas from around the world. The service is gracious, thoughtful and unpretentious, and the wine list boasts a balanced profile of over 200 different wines. "What a special meal. Great service and outstanding food made for the perfect place to host my friends 40th birthday.

The lobster was all the rave and everything right down to the beet spread for our bread was perfect. Thanks Peter, Chef Joel, Lilianna and everyone at Pangaea for making this a memorable night for all."

"Where to begin... the service once you walk through the doors is great. The food exceeds even the highest expectations. i started with risotto and my wife with tuna tataki and both were delicious. the entrees were also also delicious and filling. I went for the bison and my wife had seafood boulliabaise. i barely had room for dessert but im glad we ordered one to share because it was perfect. will definitely return again."

"Food was fantastic! The server was very knowledgeable, and we never had to call him over, he was always checking on us. Overall it is a very nice place for a romantic dinner and a memorable experience. I had the duck breast and we shared the mussels, both were superb! This place is worth every penny, I will definitely recommend this to others."
