This place is delicious! Excellent
taste and great ambiance."

The chef had prepared a special
fixed price menu for Valentine's Day. Everyone at our table said their meals were great, simply delicious. The service was great from the moment we walked in the door and throughout dinner. We all had a great time."
Dined on 2/14/2014
Nice menu from Pizza to nicely
prepared fish dinners . Salad and appetizers were nice size portions . Wine list needs moe variety ."
Dined on 2/8/2014
Great variety, reasonably priced
and group friendly."

I met 3 of my friends for dinner
on a week night. The menu was nothing special. One of us had an entree and the others had dinner salads. My dinner salad had 4 tiny grilled shrimp for $19.99. The entree was just ok, again nothing special. it arrived in a baking dish, no garnish, no presentation at all. I really hate when I order shrimp and i can barely see them on the plate. i would not recommend or return. There are too many Italian restaurants in the neighborhood that are better."

Although it is part of the chain
of Patina Group Restaurants, Panevino definitely has a local feel. The service was excellent. Our waiter, whose name escapes me but he looks like Mario Lopez, was great. Friendly, prompt, attentive, he made all of us feel welcome and we look forward to returning!"

Took an old friend for dinner.
Everyone enjoyed their meal. Restaurant staff is nice. Three birthday celebrations added to the noise factor."
Dined on 1/18/2014
Had an after-work dinner with a
friend. Every aspect of the meal was enjoyable, with friendly service. The tiramusu was so light and delicious! Will return again soon."

I should have known when they had
open tables for New Year's Eve that dinner would be disappointing. There was nothing festive for New Year's Eve and the dinner was bland at best. Chicken milanese turned out to be a over cooked breaded chicken breast that was dry topped with some dry lettuce leaves. I could have cooked something better myself and I am not a good cook!"

I have been here many times and
pretty much always order the Ravioli. They are freshly made and often have seasonal fillings. They are extremely good! They also have this orange iced tea that is simply amazing. They also sell it so that you can make it at home. Overall, a very nice place if you are in the mood for Italian."

The menu here hasnt changed much
but the pizza night endures. Decent neighborhood place with decreasing in size portions every visit we make. Too bad the owners aren't concerned with their competitors."

I don't understand the draw of
this restaurant - perhaps it's the ambiance since it has a smidge of Italy in the decor - terra cotta and pizza ovens....but it is terribly overpriced ($11 for a glass of wine) and the food is not impressive. I had a relatively flavorless chicken parm cutlet with a side of room temperature, bland spinach. The cutlet was slightly burned too! On top of it all, we had terrible service. Our waitress was slow and unenthsiastic. We sat for close to 15 minutes before our order was taken. And we were sitting on the glass enclosed porch on a chilly night and every 10 minutes the heat came on and blew super hot forced heat all around us - we were sweating! I won't rush back."
Dined on 11/12/2013
3 friends shared 3 different
salads which all tasted alike. Each had a coffee and lunch cost us each $26!"
Dined on 11/2/2013
The ambiance wasn't what I was
expecting. From the beautiful Tuscany decoration on the outside, I expected a nicely decorated restaurant on the inside. The food was great, and the service was even better. Good local spot for solid Italian food, just don't expect to impress anyone with the ambiance."
Dined on 10/27/2013
Good food. Fun place. Better for
lunch than dinner."
Dined on 10/26/2013
The service was excellent and the
food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this ristorante."
Dined on 10/15/2013
I attended a business lunch . Our
party was only three people. Our lunch was served super quick! I had the Penne salad. The penne was dry, other than that, the salad was good, The same with the chicken on my friends salad-it was too dry. Everything would have been excellent if not for the dryness in the quality of the pasta and chicken. Perhaps the kitchen should focus on quality rather than speed of service for the lunch crowd, if they want a better review."

I had a very good early dinner
last Sat. evening with my two young grand-children(10 +5). The menu was good for them and me also, the food arrived in good time, the waitress took good care of the boys, and we had a delightful evening. They had ravioli, which was excellent, I had sea scallops, also excellent. Wished we could have had some more vegetables...should have ordered a salad to share...And the gelatos for dessert were a big hit, natch!"
Dined on 9/29/2013
The food was fine but it was
served questionably fast - like within 2 minutes of ordering. Made us all suspicious of what was going on in that kitchen; as if the food was just sitting on the plates waiting to be ordered."

Took a sophisticated colleague to
Panevino for a thoroughly-enjoyable extended outdoor lunch. Service was impeccable as our delightful server respected our engaging & intense conversation--while she tastefully serviced the table when there was a momentary pause in the laughter & dialogue. Food was noticeably market-fresh, seasoned to our discerning taste and quite artfully plated (lunch menu was petite meatballs in a lite marinara, tri-color salad, latte & biscotti). Will definitely return to enjoy the under-the-stars atmosphere for an outdoor dining event, hopefully with the same colleague ;)"

Not busy for a Friday night. Food
was good, but nothing was exceptional. May go back if local, but nothing that I would go out of my way to return to."
Dined on 8/31/2013
I brought my wife & kids here for
dinner this past Sunday. I had the Paccheri, my wife had the lasagna, & my daughters ate pasta off the kid's menu. The food was quite delicious, but unfortunately the service was only fair at best. At first, the evening was off to a good start, seemingly up until I politely informed our server that she brought me the wrong drink. The only times I saw her after that was when I had to call her myself for utensils, cheese, etc. There was an older couple seated at the table next to ours whom she checked in on more than once, but we felt completely ignored by her. She didn't even offer us dessert menus - I had to ask her for them at the end. It's as if she couldn't be bothered to help us."
Dined on 8/26/2013
Usually we enjoy this restaurant
but this past visit my meal was not very good. I had shrimp with black pasta. The pasta was very uninteresting, had no flavor, not sure I get why it had to be a black pasta. It was supposed to have arugula but really only had a few pieces in it. But we loved our waiter and the outdoor dining area, but they need cushions on the chairs, very uncomfortable. Overall I would go back. For a group of people this is a good place to eat."
Dined on 8/23/2013
From calling to clarify my
reservation the day before to the minute we left, the service was amazing! What lovely staff. We sat outdoors, which was gorgeous. My chop salad was light. My panne coffee was spot on. This is a gorgeous spot."
Dined on 8/6/2013
The food here is good, but the
drinks are a tad on the weak side. This is the second time I've gone to Panevino, both times I ordered a martini with my dinner and both times felt like I was being served a $14 glass of juice. The waitstaff is EXTREMELY slow - regardless of if the restaurant is full or empty. Even worse, the noise level is so high - regardless of how many people are in the restaurant, it's just SO LOUD! On top of that, the chairs are SO uncomfortable. They really need to promote take out orders at this place and nothing else...."
Dined on 7/18/2013
We eat there every week and enjoy
the food and the service which is excellent."
Dined on 7/15/2013
Had a great time at our family
birthday celebration. People said the food was better than several upper-crust restaurants they frequent. The hostess and servers were very friendly and accommodating."
Dined on 6/18/2013
Wait staff was extremely friendly
and gave excellent food and wine suggestions. It was a great dinner albeit a bit pricy"
Dined on 6/15/2013
Always a good meal here. We're in
awe how seafood, veggies, and pasta can be cooked to perfection every time, never not perfect."
Dined on 6/1/2013
Menu has been shortened over the
years and become a bit pricey for the type of food served. Very good bread and iced tea. Portions come on the small side. All food items are well prepared and tasty."
Dined on 5/31/2013
I came here with a friend for a
birthday celebration. It was a shame that on the day we came it was raining, but I've heard rave reviews regarding its outdoor dining, but although we sat inside, we were still next to the windows and the view was excellent. The appetizer was pretty good. We had a sort of fried cheese ball with meat in the middle. It was good, but the meat in the middle was cold. I wasn't sure if that was intended to be that way or a mistake, but either way I liked it. I had the orange iced tea, which was a weird combination on the menu, and even a weirder combination when I took a sip. The pizza, although good, was a messy affair. Overall, excellent location, but some of the food could use some work."
Dined on 5/25/2013
Small portions with a large price
tag. Salmon was overly dry, seabass was watery and tasteless. Very disappointing overall."
Dined on 5/22/2013
Waitress didn't ask if we needed
refills, parm cheese......etc. Only came by once the whole time we were there."
Dined on 5/13/2013
We love Panevino. Food is always
good. Staff is very friendly. The orange iced tea is out of this world refreshing. Just love the place! Can't get enough. We go at least once a month. Our experience on Mother's Day was not the usual delight. We had their special 3-course menu and while the food was good, for the price we were not amazed with the special selections. I wouldn't say it was unenjoyable, just a little dissappointing. When you order off a special menu, especially from Panevino, you expect to be amazed. We were not this time. A couple years back they did a special asparagus menu which did FLOOR us with delight. So our expectations were super high for this menu."
Dined on 5/12/2013
I've been to this place several
times, and have never been disappointed. The staff is great and the food is delicious and this is the ONLY place it seems in the tri state area that makes a bellini the correct way!"
Dined on 4/19/2013
Usually like it here but this time
very noisy and waitress was quite nasty without good reason. Makes me question coming back...."
Dined on 4/12/2013
One of our favorite places, always
Dined on 3/30/2013
Overpriced pasta location that
charges far too much for the neighborhood...others are 20% cheaper in the area and include salad and sometimes appetizers or soup. The menu hasn't changed in years and the only thing that changes are the prices. Avoid unless you have no place else to go."
Dined on 4/2/2013
WAY OVER-PRICED for a family
Italian restaurant...manager was as friendly as an iceberg. Won't be going back here unless I've money to waste."
