The only surprise was that we thought we would have the option of chosing the brunch menu or regular menu. We enjoy sitting at the bar and talking to the other customers and meeting new friends. Dana, the bartender is outstanding. On this occasion I had the lasagna which was delicious and my fiance had the rigatoni and our companion diner had the salmon - Everything was cooked perfectly, served in a timely manner and because it was part of Panevino's 2nd anniversary week, we were treated to a dessert and I had the creme brulee - absolutely delicious. What did surprise me was how child-friendly it was. At the last minute I needed to care for my 5 1/2 year old great-granddaughter, who is a spirited child and bring her along for dinner. The restaurant was easily to find and located in the midst of a happening Reading PA event corridor.
Parking was very convenient (and FREE), and the restaurant was within easy walking distance of our evening event.
The wait staff were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful.
The food was absolutely first class. Each dish/course was prepare meticulously, and regular (though non-intrusive) service was evident throughout the meal.

The lasagna was layers and layers of wafer thin noodles using taste and texture. The mashed potatoes were a little bland, but the pork chops were juicy and the tomato sauce had bite. The food selection was different and not an Olive Garden meal, which is what you hope for. It is not all the way authentic Italian but the fusion of ingredients and the seasonal dishes stand out from an expected pasta dish. The SERVICE was detailed and prompt even through the dinner rush.
