We had a terrific waitress - it was busy, but still she took the time to be very personable, make excellent recommendations, and accommodate every little request of ours. Overall a good experience. Only thing is, it's pretty loud in there - I had to lean over the table to hear what my partner was saying sometimes. They are outsourcing the brewing of iced tea -- has the world come to this? There is a CVS around the corner where they could have purchased tea bags and brewed some right in the kitchen. Prices are pretty reasonable, with the tapas ranging from about $8-12. Limited selection of wine by the glass but many bottles. Service was very friendly and attentive. We put together a nice meal from that--carpaccio di carne, calamari, salmon, lamb chops, and petit filet mignon,all of which we shared. The portions were just right for us -- but they wouldn't be enough for those with heartier appetites. Though it was early and there were tables galore, we got ushered to a table for two tucked way back in a corner, with a floppy curtain separating us from the end of the bar area. Thus, the hit on ambiance. (We had come directly from work, dressed in our business casual best, and with backpacks; definitely got the vibe that the host didn't want us at a table near the front. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent, the price is just right, and the house red is amazing.
