Pamplemousse Le RestaurantWhat a little gemWe have gone here twice now and everything has been very very good !!! Need I saw more . Please do yourself a favor and check out this wonderful little place in Las Vegas . See how many of the golden age of Hollywood actors you can name on the walls !!6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMPierre and the Pamplemousse Staff aWe heard good things about this restaurant and it was lively, crowded in a vibrant way and our wait person, his sommelier and Pierre were so professional and made our dinner for seven friends just great! from the Crudités Basket to the Chocolate Souffle! It's a bit off the beaten path but that's what makes it different from the Vegas hyped up restaurant..it's old and quaint! The food was delicious..the pate rich and creamy, the entrees of salmon and fettuccine, to the Osso Bucca...just delicious.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMI can't believe itIt got even better. The food was fantastic and better than ever. Perry, our waiter is at the top of his game and was truly professional without being haughty - a real gem. You all MUST go and experience one of the best in Vegas!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic!I wanted to take my girlfiend out somewhere special. Her being french-canadian made me think of french food. We tend to stay away from the strip to avoid the crowds and Pamplemousse was the perfect spot.
When you walk in, the ambiance of the place is very romantic. The lighting was dim and there were tea light candles at every table. Frank Senatra was playing lightly over the sound system. We were greeted by the Maitre`d ,Pierre. He was by far the best Maitre`d that I have ever encountered in all of the places we've eaten
.
The food was amazing. We ate for 4 hours, trying almost everything on the menu. Everything was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were to die for. I have already recomened this place to all of my friends.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall, we liked having dinnerOverall, we liked having dinner at Pamplemousse very much. Food was well prepared, and the servings nicely timed, though the wild rice must have come from an instant rice box. Entrees and dessert were very good. Low lights, quiet. We would definitely dine there again, though we didn't care for the waiter announcing the specials to two tables simultaneously, rather than quietly addressing each.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat find.Consistently good. Love the rack of lamb. Special halibut was great. Low key...........not like strip restaurants.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMBest is VegasWe have been going to Pamplemousse for probably 20 years and always wish our trip was longer so that we could have another great meal, We do visit on every trip, but that is only once a year, yet they remember us and treat us as if we were there every month or more. The food is terrific and always made to our specification and always take into account our food allergies.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFamily time - celebrate with dinnerHad a great time; Kiefer did a great job entertaining us, explaining history of the restaurant, describing available menus. Was a little disappointed with the escargots, used to garlic and butter, not cream sauce. But overall, it was good. Thank you5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMTrue FrenchThis place has amazing food and service. I would reccomend to anyone that wants to enjoy a wonderful meal with a loved one or date.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOld school hidden gemFrom the escargot to the rack of lamb to the souffle... everything was wonderful. Quiet, intimate, relaxed, and elegant without being pretentious.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMA+++Took my wife here for a romantic birthday dinner - this place did not dissapoint! I can't believe I lived in Las Vegas for 15 years and hadn't heard about this place!! Will definitely be back.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMdinner for sixBeing once a year visitor from Hawaii to Vegas, this was the second time in two years I went to this french restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is perfect for business get together because it is fairly quiet and we could talk to each other. Food and the service were exceptional. The duck special and steaks were all prepared perfectly. The complimentary veggie platter was fresh with assorted flavors. I recommend escargot. We will go back to this restaurant next time we visit Vegas. MAHALO4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was EXCELLENT. TheThe food was EXCELLENT. The service was disappointing. Our waiter did not tell us about any specials, soup of the day, fish of the day, etc until we asked him when he came to take our order. The waiter seemed pre-occupied with a larger party that was there that evening.
Because the food really is delicious, I would recommend Pamplemousse and would definitely give them another opportunity at service.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMA must in Las VegasI love the relaxed feel of this place - dark, small and cozy – like a comfortable living room. I definitely would return to try more dishes. We had the Five Coarse meal they offer and we both chose different items to taste test. They are known for the fresh basket of vegetables and breads, so it is a must! Our favorite appetizer was the Bouchee de Fruit de Mer! This is a seafood Souffle. The waiter was simply awesome! He was able to answer all our questions and his recommendations were a perfect blend of food and wine! It is not easy to become an icon in a town like Las Vegas, but Pamplemousse Le Restaurant is one for sure! You will want to make reservations, as space is limited and is very popular!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food with old Vegas history!I have lived here for 25 yrs my husband over 50yrs,the Pamplemousse is one of the few restaurants that served the old celebities and now new. My daughter has always wanted to eat there so Easter with the family was prefect. All of us ordered something different to share every dish was amazing in display and taste. The grandchildren are teenagers they loved the whole experience. Our waiter "Keeper" he was the best not only served us at our speed but entertained us with the history and sing for us.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMIt doesn't look like muchIt doesn't look like much from the outside but It has great ambience inside. It's close to the monorail and the stratosphere so don't let the location turn you away. The food is superb and is reasonably priced. The escargot was amazing as was the chocolate soufflé and grand manier soufflé.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMUsed to be a hot spot, I betVery old fashioned supper club. Pink dry wall and burgundy carpeted walls with pictures of actors from the forties and fifties. Limited menu. Beer and wine only. Overall too expensive for the limitations3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect place for a superb,Perfect place for a superb, intimate, romantic dinner, free from the noise and chaos of the strip. The ambience and food are unbeatable. A treasure, especially for locals.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and that old timeGreat food and that old time Vegas feel that is lacking in most places today.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
