Diner Reviews
  • "I've been to many Brazilian Steakhouses over the year and this one was in line with most others. The meats were excellent, the side dishes ranged from OK to great. Our party of four ordered one vegetarian option and three Ultimate Seafood. The salmon, shrimp and whitefish were amazing, the crab, less so. Great service and the server even discounted the meal when we left most of the crab uneaten."

  • "We decided to eat here because if a suggestion/coupon from the concierges of our hotel. The choice of meats for lunch is very little amd poor quality. You will be better off by going to a buffet. Chicken thighs, sausages and tough meat are not worth the price"

  • "It's okay, could have more options at the salad bar, not many choices to choose from, but it was just okay.. If I ever have a big tour group and I'm in the area I would try it again, this is a great place for big table for a lot of people, not really for couples, more like families with a lot of mouth to feed I suppose,"

  • "Craig, our waiter, was very attentive. The food was delicious and the servers were constantly moving about the restaurant making sure that everyone's needs were met. The restaurant was romantic. The only drawback was that the walkways were so narrow that one had to be careful to give the servers the right of way when navigating the walkways."

  • "Meat tended to be real fatty...salad bar was fresh"

  • "Pampas was a great meal! The surf and Turf was excellentt! Also the salad bar and dessert were excellent. The only thing we didn't like was the waiter asked if we wanted water with our cocktails and we said "sure". He charged us $6.95 for a bottle of water!"

  • "I liked it that there was a seafood option. This is different than other similar places. The desert was to die for. The price is right. Staff is friendly and attentive."

  • "The food at pampas was so deliscous, it was hard to stop eating it all. If you're willing to spend a little extra dough for a fabulous night out, this is the best bang for your buck. The only downside was that we got seated in the busy mall area and felt rather distant from the restaurant. There were tired shoppers who came to sit at the table beside us. However, food was fantastic, service was tremendous, atmosphere (when inside) was amazing. Without a doubt, we will be back again and will be recommending to others."

  • "Bring your best appetite and enjoy! Our server Dave S. was extremely professional and really helped make our dining experience wonderful."

  • "We enjoyed the meats, most were cooked to a well done, so if you want other than well, you'll need to tell your waiter. We only got one of the chicken pieces before we stopped, but it was tasty. A nice feature of their menu is that you can order an entree and the salad bar... that is what I would choose next time as all the beef began to taste the same - good but all we seemed to get was beef so I would have gotten more variety by getting one meat entree and the salad bar."

  • "Pampas was really good meat. The salad bar was ok, but the meat is where it is at. Make sure you get small cuts so you can try everything cause all the meats are sooooo good. The service was a little lacking, but that could have been do to the fact it was PACKED. With the restaurant being full the sound is a little louder, but that is to be expected. We were sat close to the salad bar, nice. Overall, this was a great place to eat. I would recommend making reservations for later in the day."

  • "As a first time visitor to Pampas I was nervous as we had recently had an extremely poor experience at a neighborhood Brazil themed steakhouse. From the moment we arrived we could tell it would be better. The restaurant is off the beaten path in the Planet Hollywood hotel and unfortunately the first host who appears to be hustling people to come in is a little tacky we arrived early for our reservation and they took us right in. Our waiter seemed to be having the worst day of his life and didn't appear to care that his diners could tell tarnished the experience a little however the servers carrying the meats were wonderful and very pleasant. The salad bar was in the very back and didn't seem cold enough but it had a decent selection."

  • "This restaurant has a great variety of meats and generous portions. The salad bar was spectacular. This spread was fit for the person watching their calories and for the hearty eater. The bread was so delicious and the service was excellent and buy one get one free coupons are everywhere."

  • "Salad bar was delicious. Floor to the salad bar seemed slippery. I felt like I was going to fall and had to walk carefully. Lots of meat choices shaved from a long skewer. The first ones we received were cold. But after that we had hot skewers. Meat was good but not great like I had heard Brazilian bbq are. Doing sAuce would have been a nice addition. Service was terrible. Our water was never refilled. We were never asked if we wanted another drink even when he took our glasses away. Plates were removed when we went back to get more salad which was a plus."

  • "The idea of various meats being paraded to your table makes for a special experience. Not only was the meat wonderful, however, the accompanying bar of salads and sides was equally amazing. Great food! Great service!"

  • "All staff were rude and stuck up. Kept us waiting and seemed to give sub-par service because we used the travelzoo deal."
    Dined on 6/29/2014
  • "The service was extremely poor. The waiter was rude and obnoxious, service was slow. Salad bar was the worst I have experienced at a Brazilian steakhouse. The meat variety was average for these types of restaurants but it was too salty. I would not recommend. There are too many great restaurants in Vegas, we were lulled by thinking this would be good for a group. While the concept is, this restaurant is not a winner."

  • "We were celebrating our birthday's and anniversaries all in one night and this was a great place! The food was great and kept coming! We enjoyed the whole meal and the only down side is we wish we had more room to eat more. Great place!"

  • "If you are a meat lover, this is definitely the place for you. We love beef and pork, and every bite was prepared perfectly. Juicy, flavorful and beautifully seasoned. Your salad plate will be used as your dinner plate, and the side dishes are in the salad bar area, so plate your salad accordingly! My only negative comment: we did not get to try all of the meats that were being served. The servers all started at the opposite end of the room from us and frequently ran out before reaching our table. This caused a couple of very long pauses in our meat service, and I'm sure contributed to the fact that we never saw the chicken, sausage, lamb, etc. That said, we would definitely eat here again, and just speak up to ensure we get service!"

  • "We asked about any specials and were given a special price of around $33 per person for the meat and shrimp deal. The shrimp were great; however I wish they were already peeled for you. The meat was good but nothing really special if you've eaten at Brazilian steak houses before. The service was very good. They had an "open bar" option for $20 you get all the house wine you can drink for an hour or something like that and we took advantage of that and it was a good value. The house Malbec was nice. One note is that they give you a large salad and pasta bar and I would advise not to fill up on that before the meat comes since it's all you can eat meat."

  • "We treated our kids (24 and 21) to an evening experience! Everything was amazing! Each of the employees added a positive twist on our evening out. We tried a few new tasty drinks that were mixed at our table; and the food was outstanding! This would be an excellent experience for anyone, anytime. Thank you once again!"

  • "Went here with a voucher deal for dinner for surf and turf Brazilian style and it was amazing! The bacon wrapped chicken and house meat melted in my mouth! Drinks were good and dessert tasty. Service was flawless. Go here even though it is costly...bring an appetite and you will leave thrilled to your socks with the experience! Good for solo diners and couples and friends! Awesome! Eric is also one of the best waiters on the planet. Ask for him!"

  • "Overall, I liked the restaurant. My girlfriend was very pleased with her fish, and the salad bar was incredible; however, when the chicken came out, it was WAY over-salted."

  • "I went with my family to have a nice dinner and it turned out to be a memorable night for my wife and daughters. Love the ambience, the view, location, service and not to mention the food. Robert was our server and he was just on top of it, drinks, seafood and the meats. We had a few pictures taken from one of the staff and the photos will be part of our memory there. We ill go back very soon for another great night. Thank you everyone at Pampas."

  • "Beef was generally good (1-2 offerings were not so good but most were good) but seafood was not the best. They offered salmon, tilapia, crab legs and shrimp. The salmon was dry, tilapia is a cheap fish, crab legs were just okay and shrimp were probably the best of all of them but nothing special. I would not recommend the surf and turf...just the turf. We've been there a few times now and this was the first time trying the seafood...not again unless they change it up."

  • "I was so looking forward to dining here. I had heard about this style of restaurant but never been able to go (because there hadn't been any where I'm from and they're really expensive). So when we saw buy one get one free coupon we seized the deal. Even at half off it felt like a total rip off. $56 for dry meat, warm shrimp, old lobster and cold fish. Yuck. The service was also lacking. It took over an hour to get the "surf" because our server repeatedly forgot to put the order in. Getting refills on drinks and clean plates also took a very long time. Overall, we were there for 2 hours which felt like a waste of time as we left still hungry and very unsatisfied."

  • "Was excited to try Pampas while in Las Vegas. Sadly disappointed though. We had purchased a Groupon dinner, 2 drinks and a dessert for two to Pampas before we left home and just happens that Father's Day was the only night we could go during our three nights there in Las Vegas. Reserved on OpenTable and received confirmation and a note that for Father's Day, Pampas was celebrating dads by offering 1 free hour of open bar (beer, wine and well drinks only). There was 3 of us for dinner, so paid for an extra surf and turf dinner. Restaurant would not allow us to use 1 of the drinks or free open bar for a soda. Only received one round of seafood for the three of us, had to ask for more shrimps and breads. Mediocre food and service."

  • "Made a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes. Advertised special for Father's Day was one hour of open bar but this was not honored because we had a Restaurant.com certificate. Advertised that one could view the World Cup...this is only in the bar and only if they will seat you here. Meat was slow to arrive at table despite multiple requests. Unfortunately this was suppose to be a special day for my husband but it was less than what we expected."

  • "The service was weird, it wasn't that it was bad it was just very disorganized. After we were seated, a wait a very nice waitress came over and took our drink order. A few minutes later a very nice waiter came over and also wanted to take our drink order. We told him that we already placed it, he said that we should give it to him too... so we did. And 20 minutes later we were thoroughly into our meal and still didn't have our drinks. But service for the food was fine. The food itself mostly reminded me of cafeteria food, it was very average. The crab legs were terrible though."

  • "It is an awesome concept and delicious food. It's not the place you want to invite anyone but your significant other. The price to get a FULL experience is NOT adequate for a family dinner or invite extra people. There is a lot of down time between servings to come to your table and the drinks are spaced out beyond seeing the bottom. With the 1 hour open bar, that's not cool. Don't get me wrong, our server was amazing and the food was excellent. By no means am I saying don't go. Just be persistent and get noticed before you fill up with the salad bar. I know I tip well but it might help if you tip 1/2 in advance and 1/2 at the end maybe, I don't know if that would work."

  • "We typically stop at TIX4TONITE to buy 50% off coupons for $3 and then do the lunch which goes to about 330. Adults come out to be about $13 plus coupon for all you can eat meat. They have a few extra meats on the menu for dinner, but this is a great deal for a steakhouse."

  • "Order a special that was offered when step into the restaurant, it was supposed to have grilled shrimp, never got offered the grilled shrimp and got charged more than was initially told, did not say anything because we were running late to a show, we told the server we needed the check earlier because we had a check to catch it took her 10 mins to bring us the check and 15 to cash us out."
