  • "This was our first time at Pampas, and it was a good experience. The beef portions were quite large, however....but they were happy to cut the steak in half for us so that we could enjoy the luscious side dishes. The spicy cioppiolini onions and the corn with basil were outstanding. We had the empanadas sampler, which was quite nice. The wines were good, and the steak that my husband and I shared was cooked to perfection."

  • "My wife and I went here for an anniversary and everything was fantastic. The service was superb: Ben was our server and he was attentive, knowledgeable, courteous and funny. The steak was excellent (we had the "Tomahawk" Wagyu steak). We ordered it rare and it was cooked perfectly. Ben even cut it right at our table for me and my wife to share. I don't trust many places to cook steak rare, but this place did it just right. The potato gnocchi was delicious; we highly recommend it as a side. We will definitely be returning."

  • "We always love a good steak and Pampas has it. The waitress was fabulous and the food excellent. We each got steak, a filet, the bone in ribeye and the ribeye along with the mushrooms (which are amazing) and the potatoes(fabulous). We were celebrating my husbands birthday and it was a wonderful evening. Oh, and he got the creme brulee for dessert - it was fabulous too."

  • "Once again we loved our dinner and the atmosphere is excellent. The delmonico was perfect and we even got to see our steaks cooking up close. The chefs are amazing and Lisa once again was a treat to have waiting us. We were even treated to a chocolate volcano for our wedding anniversary we were celebrating. The food and service were exemplary, as usual. The wine was superb. Everyone was fat and happy when we left. We've eaten here many times; sometimes a party of 2, other times with a very large group from work. Every experience at Pampas has been divine!!!"

  • "Food: ALWAYS excellent! But last time Brandon was our server and he was PERFECT (I do not use that word lightly). We have kids and the greatest challenge is completing a thought without interruption. Brandon seemed to understand that and NEVER interrupted. Although we requested Brandon again, we were disappointed to learn that he was not working on this particular night. Our server was a woman named J.Z., and while she never left us hanging she did jump into the middle of conversation on several occasions. This happens at a LOT of upscale restaurants, but in my opinion it shouldn't; that's a big part of why I'm willing to pay more money for a nice night out."

  • "My wife had the brick which was super tender. My bone in filet was extremely tasty. The grilled provolone appetizer was awesome as was the raisin bread (hot out of the oven). Ada (?) our waitress was very helpful and friendly. The anniversary creme brulee was a nice touch. There were a few parties in attendance that raised the noise level and one person felt the need to shoot about 10 flash photos in our direction which was quite annoying. But all in all, an excellent experience."

  • "Server did not take the time to check on our needs. We had to wait for 45 minutes for our food and then another 20 minutes to get someone's attention to bring us the bill. They ask you at the start if you want their sparkling water or the Perrier water which none in my group would like just because we really don't like those. We are not big wine drinkers either and went there just for the steak. I guess they made assumptions about our refusal to be served "fancy" beverages and so we got the shabby treatment. We were treating my sister who came from the Philippines so I was embarrassed when we got this treatment. Even she said "if that was me, I would've marched straight to the server and asked for the bill.""

The vegetable side dishes were as superior as the steaks prepared with creativity and complex flavors. The presentation is not fancy; they focus on sublime food and good service. Cons: the tables are crowded and it gets a bit loud for a romantic meal...but we were not there for a romantic meal and it was fine. About half local folks and half business diners during weekday dinner time."

Quiet live piano playing in the background with a mix of professional yet relaxed atmosphere, made it all the better. The serving staff was not rushed or distracted - they were there to serve and were very attentive - even if they were not assigned to our table. Overall, an A+."

  • "I took my bofriend here to celebrate his birthday. It was our first time visiting the restaurant. THe service was great. Server was very attentative and was able to make great recommendations. Everything we ordered was very tasty. We both ordered the bone-in filet whcih was juicy and tender. I had my filet Oscar style while my boyfriend enjoyed the 'Au poivre'. I also ordered the blue cheese topping on the side and it a wonderful compliment to the filet. The Banana bread pudding was perfect! We will definately be back."
