"My husband and I went to this restaurant for our anniversary based on a recommendation by a friend in Forest Hills who told us it was one of the best restaurants in the area with great food and selection. We couldn't agree more. The ambiance was perfect- warm and inviting eventhough there was a party going on and it got full. The food was delicious- we each ordered an empanada to start and from the specials I had the filet mignon flambeed with cognac while my husband ordered the red snapper. Everything tasted so good that we had to squeeze in a dessert to share- an apple crepe which they flambeed at our table. We loved it and are already planning to go back wiht some friends."

"My wife and I ate here on a Friday evening. There were plenty of open tables and we were greeted and seated immediately. The staff was friendly, attentive and knowlegable. Going to this restaurant was the only thing we had planned for the evening, so we spent a while there and had everything from cocktails to desert and coffee. The food was outstanding; my skirt steak (which I can highly recommend) was prepared to perfection. The appetizer we had was particularly worth noting: a bed of seared asparagus blanketed with prosciutto and asiago cheese. It was marvelous. The ambiance was nice- romantic lighting and flamenco guitar on the stereo at an appropriate volume. We will certainly go back."

"We went there for valentines day. Staff kept saying how crazy it was. To be honest, it was full, but crazy is too much. They had plenty of staff. After waiting for 30 min at the bar without being acknowledged, we ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter behind the bar said it would take a little while. Really, for a bottle of wine?!? Strike 1.
Then we were seated. It took another 20 min to get water and menus. When a bus boy finally brought it to us, the waiter( same guy behind the bar) said we should have told him we didn't have menus. Really?!?!? I have to tell you.? Strike 2
After the main course we order desert to the busboy because our waiter would never come by. After another 25 min the waiter comes and let's us know they are out of"

"The food was good (authentic beef empanadas) but the service was beyond poor. We arrived for our reservation at 8:45 and didn't get seated until 9:10. This was not because tables weren't free (we counted at least 6 open tables)...but because it took the wait staff (which there were plenty) time to "clean and set the table". When we finally got seated...we noticed throughout the evening there were always open tables (and people waiting). On Valentine's Day, when you have a line of couples waiting for their reservation, it should not take 1/2 hr to clear a table and get it ready. This is unacceptable even during any night. Any decent restaurant staff can "reset" a table in a few minutes."

"We went for Valentines Day, and it was packed house but the restaurant could not handle it, we had a 8:00 pm reservation and still had to wait 15 mintues for our table, once we sat down no one came to our table for 30 minutes, and only twice after that to serve our meal and bring us our check. The food was good, but would never go again during a special event or holiday."

"I came here with my girlfriend for a romantic dinner and came out more than satisfied. The wait staff was very friendly, made us feel very confortable and gave us great sugestions. What made it a great restaurant was the genuine Argentinian food, with a great variaty of steaks, pastas, seafood and wines. A great choice for any occassion I recommend it to all of my friends and family now.
