The stairs are killers for people with disabilities--and the elevator access rarely works but I keep coming back because the experience is well worth the climb. We are obsessed with the lobster and filet mignon tostadas. Downstairs is intimate yet lively for tapas. Unusual selection of Ceviches and fish entrees. I've only been there at lunch, when it gets quite noisy--sounds of enjoyment. The second floor outdoor terrace is the first area to fill up on a nice day. Now we will have to travel to this neighborhood specifically to eat there. From the upstairs room, which would be PERFECT for a private party of 50-80 people, to the outdoor terrace this place is just lovely. Open, warm, classy, and comfortable. The food was excellent! Guacamole, lobster tacos, snapper and shrimp all prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. AND, the margaritas were excellent. The guacamole was of the best I've had in awhile and everything that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled delicious. I didn't try any of the cocktails or alcoholic drinks as I was there for lunch, but the sangria looked tasty. Went on a monday night this time and it was not super busy, so the noise level was mellow..4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Ceviche this Side of Lima!My lunch guest and are both ceviche "addicts" and were not disappointed with our choice of"3 ceviches". This menu item provides the opportunity to choose a generous sampling of 3 of the 5 ceviches that are listed on the menue. Between the two of us we selected the tuna, the shrimp, the halibut and los mariscos (mixed seafood). All we're prepared with different ingredients and all were excellent, and extremely fresh, which is arguably the most important single consideration when dining on fish prepared in this manner.

We got the sampling of 2 dips for appetizers. The guac was Ok. We have had better guac before. But the smoked swordfish dip was excellent. For entree, I got the salmon in tomato sauce. I loved it. My wife got stuffed peppers. It was good but we liked salmon much more. The chocolate flan desert was awesome.
We were celebrating our anniversary. This place is great for special ocassion. The grilled octopus was superb!!! We all tried different small plates and salads. My salad with corn and mixed greens was great! Guacamole was really good and the chips were fresh, thin, and delicious. Great drinks too. They made special non-alcoholic specialty drinks for my grandchildren.
