  • "Really enjoyed our special night out here. The food was delicious and the concept is fun and different!"

  • "Good food and great service. Would recommend to friends. Great to see owners participating in all parts of business."

  • "The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious."

  • "The food was good, but overly salty. They charged for water; and as far as I could tell, it came from a tap - not impressed. The service was extremely poor, especially when you consider that the waiter's responsibilities were limited to taking drink and desert orders. Glad I went once for the experience (the table side meat service is fun), but once was definitely enough. I won't be going back."

  • "Such great food, come here hungry! Loved everything we tried! AMAZING service! Can't say enough about this place, so happy we decided to try it out. Came to celebrate 2 birthdays and so very happy we spent it here!"

  • "I was blown away by the taste and flavour of all the different types of meats and side dishes."

  • "Love this restaurant. This was our first time and we will definitely come again. The food was tasty and plentiful with the salad/side dish bar having a great selection of food that was fresh and tasty. If you are a big eater this is the place for you. Come hungry!!!!!! The meats, chicken and fish are all served at your table by waiters in gaucho costumes that come around FREQUENTLY and serve you as much as you want whenever you want. My favourite definitely the chicken legs. Yum! Had a great red wine which was the feature wine of the restaurant. Also try the Brazillian liquor which is poured in a very unique fashion."

  • "It was such a treat. The food was wonderful, the service was superb, and the theatrics was the icing on the cake."
    Dined on 7/15/2014
  • "Several different cuts of meats available ( my favorite was the top sirloin and rump roast), decent salad bar."

  • "This was our 4th time at this restaurant and on previous occasions the food was excellent and the service was very good. However, on this occasion our waitress initially came to our table and then simply never returned to the point that the individual overseeing the restaurant noticed and tried to do her best to give us a little attention but we were almost done our meal at that point. As well, the meat has always been perfect in the past yet this time some was very overlooked and some completely raw inside. We are not sure what happened this time but unfortunately at this price point we expect better. Previously, We have recommended this restaurant and have brought friends. Unfortunately now I do not think we will return."

  • "The idea behind Pampa is great in that it promotes a fun way to eat. However almost all of the meat dishes were incredibly salty which made you not want to eat as much. As well, the cost of the dinner was prohibitive for those people who actually eat a normal sized meal - as it was way overpriced for what you were actually able to eat. Salad bar was unlimited. On the positive side - if you are starving - you can basically start eating within 5 minutes of sitting down and be done in an hour! Service was also excellent - they were very attentive. Personally - I find going to a restaurant like Melting Pot is a better bang for your buck - four course meal (ie including dessert) and can spend 3 hours enjoying your meal."

  • "Very much enjoyed my first experience at this restaurant, the food, service and restaurant were excellent and I will definitely be back and recommending my friends."

  • "My wife and I have been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. The salad bar is wonderful but the meat is heavenly. My favorites are the signature rump roast, strip loin and the Parmesan pork. Forgot to mention that the atmosphere is electric - it is a very busy place and book ahead."

  • "I took my husband here for his birthday and it was phenomenal! I'm a vegetarian so I wouldn't normally pick a steakhouse to go to, but my husband seemed to enjoy the place so we went. My husband told the server that I was a vegetarian and the server had the kitchen roast some vegetables that weren't on the salad bar. They were fantastic and the salad bar was great too! I, of course, didn't try the meat, but my husband would eat there everyday if he had the chance! He loved it! I wish they had pricing for customers who don't eat the meat, but either than that I have no complaints. Service was wonderful!"

  • "The service is really really good and the salad bar has so many options. My only real complaint is that there should be some sort of discount if you're not eating any of the meat. I'm a vegetarian and I took my boyfriend there for his birthday as he loves it there. It seems a little crazy to charge me the full price when I'm only eating the salad bar."

  • "Great experience. Great food, and selection of drinks. All servers were very friendly, however our assigned waitress did not come around as we would of liked. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit, and will be back."

  • "The food was mighty tasty and plentiful! I love a good Brazilian Steakhouse and Pampa did not disappoint. The variety of meats and frequency of the servings and the quality of the cuts was second to none!! I went there with my boss who was a vegetarian and he feasted on the Shrimps and Salmon which was excellent. I had two servings of the Salmon, not to heavy and nicely seasoned to bring out the flavor!! The Shrimps where large and flavorful. The Brazilian cocktails where very tasty as well and they had a desert aperitif that changed flavor as the temperature of the aperitif got warmer, very tasty!! I hope I have a chance to go back when I return to Edmonton in August or September!! Pampa Pampa Pampa five star!!"

  • "Our experience was an excellent one in every aspect. I wanted to take my wife somewhere special for her birthday and Pampa delivered in spades! We will definitely visit Pampa again and again with as many of our family and friends as possible. Truly a wonderful atmosphere and the service and dining are second to none!"

  • "Coming to Pampa I wasn't sure exactly what to expect but it still managed to exceed all my expectations. The service staff was knowledgeable, friendly and best of all was always there when you needed them but not hovering around. The servers presenting and carving the meat were great and also very friendly. They even checked in near the end of the meal to make sure we had tried everything we wanted to and ensured I had the chance to try the salmon. Excellent. Cannot recommend enough."

  • "It was alright. I only liked one or two types of the meat. The parmesan pork was the best, it was delicious! Salad bar had food that looked good but didn't taste as good. Much too expensive to eat there. Not worth the money unless you can eat a ton. Overall it was an Okay experience, just that I didn't feel like I ate my money's worth."

  • "this was the second time ate here. the first time the food seemed better the first time. the price per plate is to much."

  • "Second visit to Pampas. Our hostess hit the mark, aware it was a birthday celebration, very attentive but not over the top. Buffet - lots to choose and nicely put together. Hot selections were few but then we were there for the meat experience. The meat - Oh boy there were lots and coming at you from all directions. Have to say most of the steaks were a little chewy and fatty with the exception of the garlic steak. Enjoyed the added prawns and salmon which was a surprise. All saved room for desert which we all enjoyed. My desert had red fruity tapioca in the bottom of the glass and was delicious - who knew tapioca could taste so gooooood. Although a little expensive, a great night out and a fun way to celebrate a birthday."

  • "We selected this restaurant to celebrate a family birthday. Even though they asked if we were celebrating a special occasion they did not acknowledge it beyond that (no HB song or free dessert... nothing). We prefer not to have a pool of blood on our plate when we get our meat but all the beef was so red you couldn't eat it. Chicken was good but some was dry. Hubby loved the lamb. The choices of salad was unimpressive as was the dressings. The cost was extremely high for what we ate. No worth the price. I would not go back or recommend this restaurant to my friends!"

  • "Food was great but it was a bit expensive for a casual meal. We will eat there again but only for a special occasion. We also had to leave before we were really ready due to the 2hour limit on the weekends. That was a bit of a negative way to end our meal."
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "I was not impressed at all. The cuts of meats are tough no flavour went for our sons birthday spend all the money for a big disappointment Never again"

  • "The sirloin beef and bacon-wrapped chicken..very tasty!"

  • "Went with a group from work to check out Pampa for lunch. Of the six, only two had the meat and salad-bar; four ate from the salad bar alone. Everyone was impressed by the variety and quality of the salad bar. One of the people who opted for salad and meat said that a steakhouse might be a better choice for a beef lover but was impressed overall."

  • "I was hoping for an amazing evening for my wife's birthday. I even mentioned to them this and she didn't even get a complimentary desert. Salad bar was ok but had no wow to it. The meats, some were ok, some were not. Not sure I would return. Maybe if someone bought me supper. For me, 4 people, almost $400. A bit steep. Their wine they were promoting was $45. Not very good at all. That was an expensive night. I'm sure Pampa is a good restaurant but we were blessed with bad luck."

  • "Awesome. This was our first time there. Waitress was great"

  • "If you like BBQ this may be the place for you! This is NOT gourmet food, it's a place where you can gorge on average cuts of meet. One would expect at $50 a person, they would offer better cuts of beef. After awhile everything starts to taste the same. Beef was either over cooked or tough, chicken was good. Expect to pay $2/person for their filtered water. I would compare this to KFC, you have that craving and after you eat there, you realize why you didn't go back for awhile. Our waitress and servers were very good."

  • "Mostly a haven for people who drink too much and eat too much. Food was at best of mediocre quality. Salad bar was quite predictable."
