  • "While there was nothing really wrong with our meal (we split the fish special), the dish could have been a little hotter as it appeared that the plates were cold when the meal was served. We mentioned this to the server, but told her it was fine and we just wanted her to be aware of the situation for next time. When it came time for the bill, she advised us that she had checked with the manager and they decided to comp our meal. This was not expected and was above and beyond making up for a relatively minor issue. A free cup of coffee would have been more than sufficient, but they chose to go the extra mile which we really appreciated. Because of the service, a very nice meal before the Symphony became memorably great! Thanks Palomino."

  • "The wait staff is especially helpful. I come back often for the gluten free pasta or pizza. It's a special place to stop for pre or post theater meals and always seems to have others who feel as I do. It's an oasis for many in a busy city, yummy food and great service!"

  • "We chose the special menu for the Seattle Restaurant Week: chopped salad, steak frites and gelato. I was very pleased with the steak frites and the gelato. The salad was tasty but it looked awful. it came out so quick and was very chilled; obvious that it had been sitting in the refrigerator. The color of the lettuce both for the chopped salad and Caesar salad that my friend had did not look fresh. It looked old. That was the only disappointment. The service was just right - friendly, prompt and right on top of every detail."

  • "We had dinner before attending an Il Divo concert. We've eaten at Palamino before and never been disappointed. This time was during Restaurant Week, so we ordered off the $28 fixed dinner menu. The food was excellent, and there was plenty of it. So much that I couldn't eat most of my delicious pasta that same with my chicken parmagian. Our experience at Palomino has always been excellent food at reasonable prices."

  • "Reason for poor rating on service. There were 5 of us for dinner. 4 orders came out fine. The 5th was badly mishandled. The manager did make amends by comping that person's meal and taking 20% off the remaining bill. This would have been a major headache if we had arrived later for dinner. We had theater tickets that evening and waiting on the late service wouldn't have been possible."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner and our server, Chase, was a large part of that. He was there when we needed him but not there when we didn't so excellent timing. The disappointment was the Gluten Free pizza crust. If it is going to be offered it needs to be top quality. Theirs is not so do not waste your money on it. The chicken salad was excellent although at $20 is pricey."

  • "I do like their seafood louie salad which has a good amount of crab and shrimp. We also had the paella which was very bland. They did not use spanish rice, just long grain rice. The paella lacked all the elements that a good paella should have, no creamy rice, no saffron. In general it was a very flavorless dish without any character. It had very little to do with paella, other than being served in a paella pan. Have been here a few times for lunch and was always satisfied if not wowed by the food. The paella was a low point"

  • "We started the evening in the bar where the attentive service began. Although woefully understaffed, the bartenders did a admirable job of serving those seated at the bar and tending to the servers working the tables in the lounge. We then moved into the dining room where once again we were treated to great food and great service. We were somewhat concerned when we were seated next to a table with 6 pre-teen kids. Fortunately, these were very well behaved kids who appeared to know how to behave in a fine dining establishment."

  • "Loved the energy of this place - perfect for a pre-theatre bite to eat. Food was outstanding- the Ahi Crudo was an absolute treat. My pecan crusted cod was wonderful and my husband's Osso Bucco was tender and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and helpful with food choices as we had Gluten and Dairy allergies to contend with. We will definitely return!!!"

  • "My wife and I happened on palomino while staying the weekend in Seattle. We had no expectations having never heard of it. It blew us away. From the fantastic customer Service to the tasty drinks. The Killer here is their pasta. My wife and I both ordered different types and it was some of the best pasta I've ever had. The freshly made pasta, done at palominos captures flavor sand enhances the dishes like no other. Look forward to our next visit. Also right next to the 5th ave for dinner and a show."

  • "I took my husband and daughter to Palomino's to celebrate their joint birthdays before going to a show at the Paramount. We were offered free wine samples at the beginning. The artichoke/crab dip appetizer is great. Between us we had the paella, ahi tuna puttanesca and pistachio crusted cod. We loved it all. The wine selection made it so that we each were able to get a glass that paired perfectly with our food. But by far the best part was dessert. We had creme brulee, tiramisu, the valrhona chocolate cake and donuts. We could not decide which one was best. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He even comped us two of the desserts because of the two birthdays in our party. We will definitely go back."

It was not worth that price; while the entrées were good our shared seafood Louis salad was the lowlight -sour/bitter note with card and shrimp on top of frozen wilted 'vegetables' that were way too big. Service was as expected but the food execution across the board did not justify the price. We may not be back."
