  • "This is my third visit. Each visit has been a wonderful dining experience. The mushroom soup is a must!"

  • "What a perfect evening ... an exquisite meal at Palamino's followed by the Cher concert that absolutely rocked Indianapolis!"
    Dined on 4/11/2014
  • "Dinner with another couple prior to Cher concert. Seafood grill with pasta was outstanding and server assisted in special order. We will be back."

  • "We had a gift card to use and a concert at bankers life. The location is ideal. We had a reservation so we're seated pretty easy others appeared to have a long wait. The area to wait seemed very disorganized and a bit hectic. Our table was perfect. Hostess was knowledgeable. I ordered my salad with red wine vinegar as I have an oil allergy and the brought it with vinegarette (OIL) already mixed in the salad. My steak was just ok. Smaller wine list but overall reasonable meal and service was timed well."

  • "My lunch was a great experience in every way. Service, setting, food and experience were all outstanding. I highly recommend Palomino's."

  • "Waiter seemed overwhelmed by busy convention night. Forgot our appetizers and things were a bit slow. Mistakes were rectified and compensated and we rolled with the punches. Overall a good restaurant which we can recommend. Was not our first time there."

  • "We really enjoyed this restaurant during our visit to Indianapolis. We had the French Onion Dip appetizer which was yummy. I had the Shrimp Scampi and it was very good. We would recommend this restaurant."

  • "We were seated then left sitting unattended. After at least 10 minutes a waiter came and explained he didn't know where our server was, but he would get start taking care of us. A manager came over and apologized profusely for leaving us sitting. They picked up the tab for our first round of drinks with dinner and thanked us for being so patient with them. It was a good dining experience. Our food was brought in a timely manner, it was very good, and we were treated well."

  • "We went here for a kid free date night. It was perfect. We tried food we wouldn't normally eat and it was all excellent! The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and what to recommend. Not sure if it was the time we were there or the special of the night or what, but we got a free appetizer. I had also requested a flower when making my reservation online and they accommodated with a very nice flower for my wife."

  • "Excellent Service. It was the some of the best we've ever had anywhere. Food did not match the expectations. Neither dish was as good as prior visits. Probably a fluke. All the prior visits, we thoroughly enjoyed every thing. I'm sure we'll be back, as generally, this is a great place. Wife really enjoyed the pomegranate martini. The dusty bottle of Italian red the waiter helped us find kinda saved the meal, delicious, not too expensive, and matched both of our dinners."

  • "Just had a nice dinner at Palomino. It was not crowded on this Sunday evening we went so our server was pretty attentive. We had the lamb empanada for starters which was pretty good and for entrees I had the grilled seafood pasta which was very tasty. My husband had the seafood paella which he thought was just ok. He got a mouthful of sand so that was a big turnoff. We informed our server and he gave my husband a free dessert which was nice. I would go back again for the seafood pasta!"

  • "The food was excellent but seems overpriced relative to comparable quality restaurants in the area. Service was very good."

  • "First time to Indy and found Palomino. Good variety and quality. A little on the dark side."

  • "We had a terrific Saturday night dinner at Palomino in Indianapolis after a play at the IRT."

  • "Great services! We love everything on the menu but the Devil Eggs and Brussel Sprouts are the reasons we keep going back for more."

  • "We arrived 15 minutes earlier than our reservation and expected to wait till the appointed time. But we were seated right away by a friendly hostess. Our service throughout the meal was outstanding and the food was superb. My entrée, a salmon dish, was a special. I told the server it should become part of the regular menu and she said that was what was going to happen. The manager came by and we discussed the dish. I suggested that it could use a touch more kale, and he said he would mention that feedback to the chef. The restaurant was dealing with a busy night, since the NCAA Regionals were being played in town, but the staff handled it very professionally, as if they had to deal with crowded conditions and fan rivalries every day."

  • "They do not have an extensive menu but had unusual selections. The specials were different, and the food was excellent. The service was good although we were there on a Sunday night in Indianapolis and it was very quiet. I don't think that the prices were out of line for fine dining. We definitely enjoyed our evening."

  • "I am so surprised at the mediocre food that was served on Saturday night. I hope it was a fluke, but I won't want to go back for a while. I ordered the asiago scallops only to find they have changed the plate. The sauce, which used to be served with beurre monte sauce is now served with pernod butter sauce. There is a big difference and it was good. Also, the risotto on the plate reminded me of some left over garbage mixed with some white beans, topped with something that might have been sliced squash. I couldn't tell. The dish USED to be served with simple asparagus, which was so delicious. That dish used to be a favorite, but now, not so much. Definitely not worth $26. My husband got the grilled seafood pasta. The flavor was not good."

  • "Even as a chain Palomina keeps it's own personality no matter what city it is in. It is a good trusted place for good food and a good atmosphere"
    Dined on 3/19/2014
  • "We like Palomino because it combines good fish and good beef with exciting vegetables and generous salads. Stars on this visit were the curried chickpea fritters with onion jam starter, the crispy kale with hazelnuts and artichokes that accompanied the trout, and Maytag salad."

  • "Sarah, our waiter, knew the menu inside and out. Outstanding service. Justin, one of the managers, made sure he restored our good spirits after there had been a long delay in delivering our drinks (due to a high volume of people in the restaurant as 3 major events were occurring in Indy that weekend)."

  • "Crazy weekend with the Men's Big Ten Tournament. we opted to eat in the bar when we found an open table. It was packed with basketball fans and st. Patricks Day celebrants. Even with all that, our waitress was conscientious, friendly and enthusiastic. The food is always great. It is one of our go to places."

  • "We had a very enjoyable meal on a Thursday night while in Indy for the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament. The Palomino was packed, but we didn't feel neglected by the servers. Nice menu and wine list and reasonably priced. It all added up to a great time for our first night in town."
    Dined on 3/13/2014
  • "Great food after some great basketball. We had the prime rib and chicken under a brick. Very large portions. We should have shared. The only issue was it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks from the bar. We were already finished with our appitizer and salad before our drinks came."

  • "I celebrated my 30th birthday at Palamino this past Saturday. Reservations were for 10 at 7:45pm. We showed up, our seats were ready. Service was outstanding- punctual, friendly, and kept the evening moving. The food was delicious, everyone's orders came out correct, and has a huge list of party drinks, wine list, and beer options. What a great place to start the night with tasty food, good spirits, and great friends!"

  • "Had a business dinner, and I was so happy that Palominos was in Indianapolis. I go to the one in Seattle all the time. It has a diverse menu, good drink selection, delicious desserts and the pace of the restaurant and presentation of the food is great for a business meeting--it's upscale, creative, something for everyone but not too expensive and not overly fussy. It hit the mark."

  • "Food was very good and service was excellent. My favorite part however was that Wednesday night is half price wine night. Plus you can take the open bottles home with you. I was in a party of 3 and one person wanted white and I wanted red wine. We were each able to get a bottle and I took mine back to my hotel room. I was able to enjoy a glass of wine in bed each night and didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. On top of that I felt the wine prices were not unreasonable. My $34 bottle of wine ended up costing me $17."

  • "Palomino is always a good dining experience. I have eaten here several times and I have always enjoyed the experience. Get what ever you like, all the dishes are great."

  • "I had an amazing dinner and lunch here. I was in town for the Public Library Association Meeting and this restaurant was close to the convention center. Our server was amazing as he had a thorough understanding of the menu and was able to make some excellent menu suggestions. We had the prawn scampi which was delicious. I could have ordered another serving, it was that good. I would also suggest the rigatoni bolognese. I had that for lunch the following day. It is spicy but tasty. Service was good and the atmosphere is fabulous. I will eat here again when I come back to Indy in June!"

  • "My husband and I went to Palomino's to celebrate his birthday. We started with the fabulous portabello mushroom soup. Then we had the most wonderful lamb shanks. The meat was fall off the bone tender. It was served with a delicious sauce with chunks of mushrooms, sitting next to parmesan whipped potatoes and some grilled asparagus. Our server was very attentive and answered all of our questions. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience."

  • "Great place to entertain customers. All were pleased with their meals. Service was outstanding."

  • "Always an excellent place to dine, for either lunch or dinner."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "Palomino is one of our favorites. It's best to try to avoid the peak times, as the restaurant gets very noisy and chaotic. But the staff manage it pretty well, and the food has never been disappointing."

  • "The Blueberry Smash is the best thing on there menu, Gotta get one when you go, it'll make you feel like your being hugged by puppies while your feet are being massaged by clouds. Excellent service and food and liquor. Great atmosphere"

  • "I made a reservation for my wife and I because it was her 60th birthday-I requested one of their better table and we were place in 1 very small 2 top booth. it was so small we couldn't place all of the tableware and our food on the table. The drinks we order were supposed to be one of their signature drinks and they were terrible-the only taste it had was bad. The entrees were served before we had even finished our salads and since the table was so small this only added to the chaos of no room to enjoy ourselves. The only good thing about the whole dinner was our servers, they were great and very friendly. They told us they were going to remolded soon, I would only hope they handle people special occasions better then they did with ours."
