The food was excellent and our waiter Tom was great. The drinks were superb and went down way too easy! A couple in our party was late due to parking and they were OK seating us early which was nice because some restaurants won't until party is all there. The waiter asked if we had any time restraints which we didn't. It was nice they were conscious of time if you had to go to a show/game. The food was very good just short of outstanding, which was very appropriately priced. Liked the ambience and very reasonable noise level. The decor was gorgeous though I do subtract a few points for being located in a mall. Prices were commensurate with quality and portion though I do believe the portions were quite large. I ate about 1/3-1/2 my main dish (with app and glass of wine) and was very full and had to end up wasting the remaining portion because we were heading out for the night. But perhaps I ordered wrong. I've heard MANY good things about the place, although I've never been there myself (risky!). In the reservation online I noted that we were a bachelorette group and I was pleasantly surprised to find my table decorated. The maids are finicky and particular, so I was very happy when the server was willing to answer all of their questions with detail and help them order supreme choices. We had a great view of Fountain Square and the noise level was perfect so that we could hear one another across the table, but not the guests around us. NO ONE could stop talking about the food!! He brought confetti to sprinkle on the table, told her she could order a burger of the bar menu if that was what she wanted on her special day, and brought her a complimentary dessert. He was helpful with suggestions on appetizers and dinner choices as well. The food was all very good, except the salad. It was quite soggy and wilted when it came to the table. This Mother's Day I took my neighbor to brunch.....we usually meet once a month in the bar area for Happy Hour but this was special. The buffet was delicious except for the chicken marsala which was cold and bland. Everything else was superb. I made a reservation and no wait time.
