This time it was a special treat brought to us with a candle in it as a treat for my friend's birthday! Guests ranged from 1-60 years. There were great dining alternatives for the gluten-free and vegan members of the group, as well as lots of wonderful choices for the more mainstream diners. Service was very attentive and accommodating, and the price was surprisingly reasonable.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA Memorable Mother's Day Meal!The service was excellent, the atmosphere lively and our server even brought out an extra bread and marinara serving while we waited for our dinner which was very good. The veggies were a little on the cool side but given it was Mother's Day and very crowded, I didn't feel it was worth complaining about. All in all, a very pleasant experience and great leftovers for lunch the next day! Table was waiting for me even though I was ten minutes late. The hostess was very pleasant and seated us right away. The server was efficient and the food was really good. Palamino always has great food although the service has been substandard at times (last year at Mother's Day was very unorganized and understaffed). This year the service was outstanding. We had a great time in a very friendly atmosphere. Our waiter was great, especially with our 10 year old. Been dining here for over 10 years. Only gripe with this one visit was the Lamb shank - a bit dry and essentially no meat on it. I had it before many times and it was never like this.

He had good energy and made an instant connection. I eat out a lot for work and this was a fantastic experience. Server was friendly, helpful with menu and made an extra effort to make a connection.
