"It all depends. Tired after a walk along the stand and want to seat down with a bunch of friends for a good drink? You might like this place then. Want good Mexican food? Won't get it. The place is overrated with price to food quality ratio being out of scale."

"Great wait staff and service. They really know the food and made it a fun experience. Food was terrific and ambiance is fun. The main thing is that the music is way too loud although the taste in music is good. Overall a great night out."

"Palmilla is a current hot spot that opened around last November. Reasonably priced for a nice restaurant, especially in the Hermosa Pier walkway, but expensive for Mexican food. The sea bass was excellent. The decor is upscale, the booths small for 4 people but very comfty with pillows, the outside area has a few tables and heaters. Service was great."

"Unique tasty Margueritas and Martinis.
A number of unusual Mexican dishes, as well as the traditional Mexican offerings.
Sitting outside is better for atmosphere. Bright lights, people watching.
A fun evening.
Servers nice, but slow service. Still working out the kinks. Service from the bar is very slow.
We would expect that service will improve. We would definitely go again.
The atmosphere, especially outside, is like a quick visit to Baja. The look is good."

"Food and drinks have a lot of heat but tastefully made and delicious. Drinks are awesome. Spicy Mango Margarita was killer. One of the best Mojitos in LA. Great place for foodies."
