Great food, excellent service, in fantastic surroundings. A walk around this historic building after dinner is just the icing on the cake. To also have such a consistently excellent restaurant is not always the case even in the best hotels. The tasting menu with the grand cru pairings is an excellent way to try the full spectrum of flavors and textures. We particularly enjoyed the foie gras & the langostine, & the lamb was amazing. Get a table by the window before the sun sets - the pool view will pleasantly surprise you! Never a disappointment, but we do hope a new chef will re-inspire the tried (but true) menu. We had an extremely knowledgeable and personable sommeliere who helped make a wine decision we were comfortable with and wasn't the most expensive on the list--as is so often the case. We also had the prix fixe menu (available before 7:30 pm) which was an excellent value for the quality of the meal and service.
