Wonderful restaurant with excellent food. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and either the manager or owner as well. Upon them greeting us we knew that this was a place that provided caring service. Our waiter, Douglas, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions and provided superb service. The fried green tomatoes are the bomb! Also had oysters for an appetizer. It was a special for the evening. and was basically a cross between oysters rockefeller and clams casino, Excellent. Should be a regular menu item. Good wine selection by the glass. Our flight was delayed so we arrived late, around 9:20 PM, they close at 10:00, but we never felt rushed. Excellent place and worth a visit.

An upscale fish camp for a fine dining experience to my mind. Very interesting combinations of food as well as southern classics like shrimp and grits; fried green tomatoes, etc. Known for its seafood, it doesn't disappoint. Staff are attentive and prompt. I am never disappointed with a meal there although the noise level is quite high.

Dining area very cramped. Table for five, 5th person on end of a 4 top in a traffic area for servers and patrons. Overly cold in dining room. Spicy pasta dish was NOT spicy, and maybe on the verge of bland. Service impeccable as always. We will still come back

The same owners operate several of these locally, but the Palm Valley location might be the best. The food is consistently excellent, as is the service. The only noise outside is large fans, which serve several useful purposes (including airflow and blowing away mosquitoes). We would definitely recommend and are repeat diners here.

The seafood is so fresh, delicious! They also have fried chicken for those who don't eat seafood. I love their fried shrimp. Yum! It is noisy inside as it's a small place. We ate outside, which was quiet and lovely with an occasional boat going by. You need a reservation in the evening. There is valet parking. Service is friendly and good.

Had a 5 pm reservation on Saturday, and really enjoyed eating outside on veranda. The day was splendid and the food was fantastic. I had the Pan Fried Trout, with new potatoes and my wife had the broiled seafood platter. Both were outstanding...perfectly prepared and well seasoned. The atmosphere is perfect for the location and the service was continuous and spot on.

Late seating our reservation. Draft beer was broken. Our server was too busy to tell us about the menu/specials in legible manner. Dining room was crowded; employees didn't want to ask a rude guest to pull in his chair so they bumped our pregnant guest every time they walked by. Had the mussels appetizer, it was the only thing that was good about our meal. Gator tail was about 8 pieces, it was over cooked and too salty. Entree was nothing to rave about, somewhat blan flavor. The spicy seafood pasta dish came out without the spices ever being added. Only thing they were good at was selling us beer while we waited. Won't be going back.

Top notch chef!! Everything that comes out of the kitchen is delicious. Blacken Mahi over cheesy grits and greens amazing!! Scallops special served on half shell decadent. Broiled seafood combination is my favorite!! Of course, the wine selection is wonderful. Owner/manager keeps things moving smooth and flawless.

The waiter knew the menu inside and out, which is always a good sign. Everyone at our table was impressed with their meal from mahi mahi to tuna to the vegetarian's beer salad and the kids chicken. Dessert was also fab, especially the bread pudding. It got a bit noisy as the place is small, but overall the experience was a real delight

We were visiting from Hilton Head. Restaurant was recommended by a friend who goes to Mayo. We went there both nights we were in Ponte Vedra. Fabulous! Great, fresh fish. Generous portions. Wonderful trigger fish special on day one. Crab cakes the second. My husband had the salmon on the first day and mahi mahi the second. Loved them both. We had wonderful peel and eat shrimp, lovely salads and key lime pie and lemon bars for dessert. There is valet parking, but you would dress casually. Our waiter Douglas was a jewel.

We received a recommendation to dine here from a friend from Nashville. They were raving about the restaurant, so I hurried up and changed my dinner plans from one restaurant to Palm Valley Fish Camp. I am so glad I did. Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager, served drinks and made to feel as if we were part of their family. We had a drink on the patio and watched the sun set on the intercostal water way. It was beautiful and romantic, (with my girl friend by the way) I had the Trigger Fish (which was delicious) and my date had the Signature Mahi Mahi. I loved both meals, but wasn't a big fan of the greens that were served with the Mahi Mahi. The menu screams come back and try other dishes. It was very difficult to choose

This place definitely goes beyond typical fish camp dining! The New England clam bellies were great, as was the Ahi salad. Four of us shared the seafood platter for two and had plenty of food--couldn't even eat it all! Worth trying and I'm sure we'll go back.

Don'tl let the "fish camp" name scare you - this is nothing like the old school fish camps that sold bait and tackle along with a basic menu of bad food. PVFC is the real deal, and the fact that it's hard to get a reservation reinforces that. All the fish dishes we had were very good, and so were the appetizers. You should know that the grits they serve are not traditional - they are spiced and spicy but also good. We're going to try their other place in Atlantic Beach next!
