"We were extremely disappointed in the menu. It was so limited--a jumble of small plates and appetizers. We went for dinner, not a tasting. I had just been to the Palm for lunch on Valentine's Day and the menu was superb. They had my fav, halibut and a badly needed new dessert menu w/croissant bread pudding that was superb. ALL of that gone by last night. There was only 1 salmon, chicken & beef as entrees. The soup & salad was but not my idea of dinner. My guest was extremely disappointed and still hungry when we left. I had told him how great and improved the Palm was from my previous visit. It was embarrassing to say the least. I hope Palm decides who they want to be soon--just a hotel restaurant or really fine dining again."

"It seemed to us that Palm Terrace seemed to have deteriorated since our last visit. The food quality varied and the service was surprisingly disorganized. This may have been due, in part at least, to the fact it was a Monday evening and everything was 1/2 price. But it was not what we had expected of Palm Terrace.

I did not answer the question about recommendation because it would be "Yes, but several others are better"."

"We enjoyed a wonderful $40 three course meal during OC Restaurant Week. The presentation was well done and the various courses were very tasty. When has one ever had the opportunity to be served salmon, veal scallopini and prime rib short ribs on the same plate? Excellent! A great wine selection is available but $13 for a glass of white and $15 for a glass of red is outlandish. These were the cheapest prices per glass on the menu. Lower the prices, please! Other than that, we will return for another great meal; maybe their breakfast."
