We ordered a 3 lb lobster and the Palm gave us a 4lb lobster since they ran out of the 3lb size. The waiter opened up the lobster and removed all of the succulent meat. It was a nice presentation. We also ordered a 11oz steak which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

Horrible service and the main course arriving twice before we finished our salads (and after we complained to manager after 1st time) made for a very unhappy evening. Shame -- Palm Tribeca has been my "go-to" place for a great dining experience for many years. Second time in a row they tried to have me eat on their schedule instead of mine.

The cut was huge (actually more humongous), but there was a lot of fat. A lot. Every mouthful consisted of me trying to cut off all the fat and reluctantly swallowing whatever I missed. And no one in our group finished our steak. Unfortunately for the Palm, while the restaurant is nice and the location is ideal for the neighborhood, I would walk further for a good piece of steak.

Palm Tribeca has always been one of my favorite steak places. It has a wonderful selection of great seafood dishes as well. This is the best Palm in the city and the service and staff are attentive and friendly. I recommend a summer visit for a wonderful lobster specially priced for two.

I generally have mixed feelings about Palm Tribeca, but I must report that this last time was very good. We arrived early on purpose so we could sit at the bar and have a drink. When it was time to go into the dining room my martini was cold and the bartender freshened it by practically making me another drink, a classy thing to do. We took advantage of the lobster special by beginning with a Caesar salad, followed by the lobster, taken out of its shell at the table and fries (surprisingly good). Desserts are tempting but we were full. Let's hope this positive experience carries over into our next visit.

We ordered a bottle of ruffino proseco and were brought a different label. When we brought this to the waitress's attention, she showed the manager and he apologized and said he would give us $5 off the bottle. When we got the bill, not only was there no discount but the charge was $15 more than the original bottle. This was a very unpleasant end to a nice evening.

This is my 3rd time having dinner and the food is not that great at dinner. Lunch is usually a little better, although I've had wilted looking asparagus at lunch. For dinner, someone in my party ordered a medium-well steak. The steak came out looking black (like burnt). The waiter said that's how it looks but it's medium-well. When my friend cut the steak it was well done. Needless to say, he didn't want to order another one because we waited one hour for our food. Instead, they offered another steak that would take 5 minutes. At least, they gave him that one on the house (good customer service).

my favorite of all the locations. Manager is the nicest--- we had a different waiter than last time but he came by and said hi to my wife and I. People were complaining about my nephew (15 months old) making too much noise at 6:30 on a friday night and rather than making a big to do they just moved us to the private room.

Restaurant was very crowded with large parties and groups. Perhaps lack of planning or lack of preparation by the mgmt, but food came out very slow and service was slow as well. We were given desserts on the house which we never asked for as an apologies. Food was consistent, but very inconsistent service from the kitchen. If you are planning to go to this restaurant, I would make sure they don't have large parties going on. If so, expect long delays and slow service.

Went to The Palm for their Lobster Special which was great. However the service that night was extremely slow and disappointing. We arrived around 7 for our dinner reservation and the party was complete by 7:30. We ordered and waited at least 1hour or more for the starters which were only salad. then longer for our lobsters. I was told that 5 pound lobsters take longer, which I challenged. 3 1/2 hours later we finally finished and left. They were apologetic, gave us free desert but still. I will however return again for the lobsters.

The quality of the bread is wonderful and my friends and I are particularly fond of the pecan raisin bread. The lobster bisque was devine and we shared the 4lb. lobster. It was wonderful last summer and it was equally wonderful this summer. We were so full there was no room for dessert, but there's always next time!

I don't know what it is about the Palm, but something(s) is off. Never have we been greeted graciously. Never have we even been served a glass of water in a timely fashion. We had the crab meat appetizer and it was fine. So were the ahi tuna and the NY strip. The asparagus fritti is okay. The cocktail wasn't cold enough, the wine was okay. Obviously everything was okay, but if this is the best that can be said about a steakhouse, I repeat myself: something is off.

This place never disappoints. From the welcome, to the overall service to the great food, you will be in for a great night. We were a group of 4 seated towards the front of the restaurant. Our waiter was very engaging and was almost part of the group in terms of jumping into our conversation at just the right times. We went lobster crazy. Most had the surf and turf special that they are running this summer. (Fillet and a bit of lobster, 1 appetizer and 1 side) Additionally we had the cold seafood appetizer as well which was a bit over the top (i.e. we could have gotten away without it)

We were disappointed with our dining experience. We have eaten frequently at your flagship restaurant and found this experience much superior to the TriBeCa sight. We shared our meal because we find it healthier not to over eat and it seemed to us that the waiter discounted our presence because of that. We got little attention and follow up during our meal. The ambience and the food left a lot to be desired. We will not return.

Although the food was delicious, it was the only pleasant part of our Father's day celebration at the Palms Tribeca. The service and ambiance was quite undesirable - first the child on the front booth spent 75% of the time standing on her seat facing our table talking to herself. Second and most impacting was the lack of simple curtsies by our server, who failed to bring the ordered wine to the table and when reminded did not even offer an apology. Waiter also, limited his visits to our table so much so we had to ask other staff for an additional steak knife and bread for the table.
