The Palm is the best steak house in the city. The service is great. The food is excellant. When drinking the water before you put the glass down there is someone there to fill it up.I will make sure I am here at least once a week.

The menu is ample, with all of the staples that you'd expect to find at a steakhouse, along with a few nice surprises. The steaks were prepared to the proper doneness and the swordfish was tender and moist. My only criticism of the food is that it was too salty. The ambiance is nice - fun artwork on the walls - and the service was excellent.

It's the Palm, and it's a chain, and this is a large version in the Tribeca/WTC area. It's good, but not a destination. If you're in the area, work in the area, and need to have a nice lunch or steak dinner, it's a good choice. Service was good, food was good, restaurant was entirely too large and seemed like a function hall with Palm caricatures painted on every wall. If you're visiting the WTC Memorial and want to go somewhere for a quiet lunch where you can sit in peace and get a predictably good meal, it's worth the walk.

We used to eat at the Palm TriBeCa frequently but we won't be returning. The food was so salty it was inedible. For dessert we ordered key lime pie which tasted like cardboard. The bill was $300.00 for 3 ppl. A real rip off.

I have been a loyal and regular diner at The Palm for 35 years. Consistently excellent steaks and seafood, especially the lobsters have been the reason why we go back time after time. Two weeks ago we were surprised that our steaks were not even close to the quality which we are accustomed to at The Palm. However, last night was our anniversary and our lobsters were terrible and for the second time our shrimp cocktails were miniscule compared to what we have come to expect. Coincidently, my cousin's who routinely eat at The Palm also had dinner recently at The Palm One and said the food was terrible. Not sure what it is, but, The Palm is going downhill and fast. We'll give it another shot but that's it.

A steakhouse where the seafood is just as good as the steak (also some excellent Italian dishes). I enjoy bringing friends and family to The Palm as I know there is something for everyone and no one will be disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and friendly as a good percentage of the crowd is repeat customers. The staff is very attentive and make you feel special. Serving sizes are large (you will not leave hungry).

We ordered a 3 lb lobster and the Palm gave us a 4lb lobster since they ran out of the 3lb size. The waiter opened up the lobster and removed all of the succulent meat. It was a nice presentation. We also ordered a 11oz steak which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

Horrible service and the main course arriving twice before we finished our salads (and after we complained to manager after 1st time) made for a very unhappy evening. Shame -- Palm Tribeca has been my "go-to" place for a great dining experience for many years. Second time in a row they tried to have me eat on their schedule instead of mine.

The cut was huge (actually more humongous), but there was a lot of fat. A lot. Every mouthful consisted of me trying to cut off all the fat and reluctantly swallowing whatever I missed. And no one in our group finished our steak. Unfortunately for the Palm, while the restaurant is nice and the location is ideal for the neighborhood, I would walk further for a good piece of steak.

I generally have mixed feelings about Palm Tribeca, but I must report that this last time was very good. We arrived early on purpose so we could sit at the bar and have a drink. When it was time to go into the dining room my martini was cold and the bartender freshened it by practically making me another drink, a classy thing to do. We took advantage of the lobster special by beginning with a Caesar salad, followed by the lobster, taken out of its shell at the table and fries (surprisingly good). Desserts are tempting but we were full. Let's hope this positive experience carries over into our next visit.

We ordered a bottle of ruffino proseco and were brought a different label. When we brought this to the waitress's attention, she showed the manager and he apologized and said he would give us $5 off the bottle. When we got the bill, not only was there no discount but the charge was $15 more than the original bottle. This was a very unpleasant end to a nice evening.

This is my 3rd time having dinner and the food is not that great at dinner. Lunch is usually a little better, although I've had wilted looking asparagus at lunch. For dinner, someone in my party ordered a medium-well steak. The steak came out looking black (like burnt). The waiter said that's how it looks but it's medium-well. When my friend cut the steak it was well done. Needless to say, he didn't want to order another one because we waited one hour for our food. Instead, they offered another steak that would take 5 minutes. At least, they gave him that one on the house (good customer service).

my favorite of all the locations. Manager is the nicest--- we had a different waiter than last time but he came by and said hi to my wife and I. People were complaining about my nephew (15 months old) making too much noise at 6:30 on a friday night and rather than making a big to do they just moved us to the private room.

Restaurant was very crowded with large parties and groups. Perhaps lack of planning or lack of preparation by the mgmt, but food came out very slow and service was slow as well. We were given desserts on the house which we never asked for as an apologies. Food was consistent, but very inconsistent service from the kitchen. If you are planning to go to this restaurant, I would make sure they don't have large parties going on. If so, expect long delays and slow service.
