  • "We sent our steak back 3x to get it right. They should close it down- it's an embarrassment to the entire chain. AND my picture is even on the wall... I'm willing to sacrifice my beloved character for it to just go away. Sorry Palm- never again."

  • "I went to dinner with my wife and 14 year old to celebrate birthdays and spring break. I was looking for a great steak in a comfortable atmosphere. A treat for our family. The Palm definitely delivered. Awesome filet. Crab appetizer. Cream spinach and hash browns. And a delicious bottle of reasonably priced wine. The service was excellent and perfect for our table. Overall it was a perfect night out after a long week. Thanks."

  • "We had delicious lobster and filet....creamed spinach and asparagus....very nice portions and it was one of our best meals at The Palm.....thank you..."

  • "Worse steak/ filet I ever had, worst asparagus, they also had no potatoes. What restaurant doesn't have "steak and potatoes"....never ever eating there again, I'm going to stick to my regular place "the capital grille"....the steak was soo bad, I mean really bad & I think this may be the 3rd review I've ever written, but I had to write something, because it was soooooooo BAD"

  • "I eat at the Palm often, the food is always great and the power lunch is a solid deal for the quality and amout of food you receive."

  • "Fabulous food, perfect place, to start the family opera night...Phantom"

  • "Took my wife and daughter here for my wife's birthday. Food was OK, but overpriced. The Palm seems to be living off its old reputation. I do not think I will be back."

  • "We had a great time, as usual. The food was excellent. Appetizers were in the $15 range, I had the clams casino & they were spot on; everyone else had the lobster bisque & I heard no complaints. I ordered the bone-in rib-eye & it was quite tasty & the rest of my party order the filet & lobster oscar. The temperature of the steaks was just as we ordered. We also order the half & half, which is fried onions and chips. It was a Sunday evening so the place wasn't packed but it provided just the right ambiance. Our server, Gary, was awesome! He had the right amount of charm and wit to make the evening a splendid affair. We finished off with creme brules & the flour-less cake & while pricey it was worth the expense. I easily recommend them!"

  • "I just can't believe what happened to the prices at The Palm. It's not the popular restaurant it once was and to spike the prices to this level means it should be really good -- but it isn't. Very disappointed."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "I always enjoy The Palm. For a chain restaurant with upscale properties it does very well. The meal are well prepared and served in a pleasing manner. If you don't drink like me it's not too expensive, at least by my standards. I give it about an 85 out of 100."
    Dined on 3/9/2014
  • "Food was wonderful, our table enjoyed a bone in ny strip, a filet cooked perfectly, a striped has special, and crab cakes. good wine list with both a good selection of domestic and foreign wines. the noise level detracted from the ambiance and tables very close together. I personally would not return. Service was ok but not excellent."

  • "The executive and sous cheft are amazing. The food was perfect and they even made it a point to come to our table for a birthday celebration. I would eat there again in a heartbeat! Great service and great food!"

  • "Food was good. Drinks and wine excellent. Service by Randy was enjoyable along with prompt and correct. He made the evening with my wife and daughter very nice. Actually tried theri veal and it was excellent. First time out of the steak mode at a Palm. Worth trying>"

  • "My wife and I were out for a show at the Academy of Music and chose your restaurant by looking on line. I was impressed with all of your staff, they were attentive and provided suggestions on your meal and drink specialties. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.."

  • "I know when you go out to eat the food is most important. This food is as good as it gets. So if you are looking for great food this is the place. If you are looking for helpful and cheerful service this place is a must."

  • "Service was great, from checking in to being seated and served. The main reason for 3 stars is that the prices are outrageous, especially for someone used to quality NYC dining. The general quality of the food was very good, however, not justifying the price. All in all an enjoyable evening: the bone in steaks (Filet and NY strip) were tender and tasty, but needed a little seasoning. The Potato Gratin was creamy and flavorful and the wild mushrooms a good complement to the steaks."

  • "As far as Palm Restaurants go this is probably one of the most comfortable to dine in . Although the food is inconsistent it is still one of my husband's favorites . Comfy booths and easily accessible"
    Dined on 3/2/2014
  • "We started off with Caesar Salad (me) and my wife with the bisque. Very good on both. For our entrees, I had the New York Strip and asked for it to be prepared "Pittsburg" medium rare. It was done to perfection. My wife ordered a steak dish that had a sauce and asparagus. Everything was fine until she bit into the steak. She complained of an odd flavor as if it had been cooked in a pan with another dish. The waiter and the manager both, without argument, to take the meal off the bill as we requested."

  • "We had a party if 10 people. We received a private room, had wonderful great tasting food and top notch service (Server's name is Eric). What a great night for my wife's 30th birthday dinner party with her closest friends from college. The experience was fabulous, I'd recommend everyone goto the Palm."

  • "We went for my husband's birthday. We had a very nice time. I only wish I would have known it was very loud in the restaurant . We had wanted something a little more intimate. But besides that we had a very nice time and the food was very good."

  • "Very good restaurant. The service was excellent. Three out of four people in our group ordered steak. Three different cuts. Each was cooked perfectly. The fourth person had the crab cakes. very very good."

  • "This was my second attempt to like this place. Rudeness and apathy abounds at this place!"
    Dined on 2/22/2014
  • "Not one of the best experiences we have had at the Palm. Prices are outrageous for cocktails and waitress forgot our salads. At least the appetizers and entree's were good."

  • "We went for dinner on Valentine's Day. Started with drinks at the bar - excellently mixed by Phil and then dinner. My wife ordered the NY Strip and I had the Ahi Tuna, which was prepared exactly as I prefer it - extremely rare. Our server, Norman, is always very helpful and accommodating. Even though the dining room was busy, the noise level is moderate and the service excellent."

  • "Thank you to the people and staff of the palm to give us one of our best dining experiences ever! This was our pre-wedding dinner as we are about to get married within the next few months. Thank you so much!"

  • "Overall, it is a steak house that has good food. There was nothing special about the Palm. I was disappointed by the lack of personality of our server. The pace of the experience was ALL wrong. We were in and out in a little over an hour. That is not a fine dining experience, at least not what I would expect from a steak house of this caliber."

  • "Chicken parm was HUGE! And DELICIOUS! Service was top notch. Different varieties of break brought to table. Made valentines day unforgettable. Only negative was that a little knot kept flying around our food.. Probably because it was so good!"

  • "Our reservation was at 4:30pm...It was not crowded yet and from what I could tell it looks like they really paced their reservations to keep service level high meaning they did not overbook just to make money..They sat us in private dining room area in a corner..There was a wall behind us and to our left..No other couple was seated at the table next to us for our whole visit..I was in heaven..This is how I like to enjoy my dinner when I go out..My stress level was down the whole time, so I was able to really relax and enjoy my meal..I prefer quiet settings when I go out even on special occasion days..Our server was very attentive..Didn't check back to often but just enough..Food great..Chilean sea bass and steak..Thanks, great time!!"

  • "I frequent steak houses. I was not impressed by the service or the food. It was ok. I still rate peter lugers and sullivans higher. Our waiter recommended we try smith and wollensky for dry aged steaks"

  • "we go to the Palm about once a month. it's always perfect. Tonight was a big exception. the service was awful. waiter completely not attentive. only visited us once after meal was served. never refilled water glasses, cleared shells (lobster), offered another drink... we complained to a manager and he was barely apologetic. I hope this is not the start of their decline..."

  • "It has been 25 years since our last meal at The Palm. At that time it was our good fortune to have lunch at The "original" Palm in New York. That experience was full of surley/loveable waiters, big portions, big drinks, and original art. Everything we expected. Who'd a thought The Palm would clean up and appear in the lobby of the Bellevue Stratford aka Bellevue? There it was, mellower waiters, big portions, big drinks and not so original art. A good experience all around. Not going to wait another 25 years this time."
