  • "My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary in Nashville and a friend recommended the Palm. It was delicious! The service was top notch. The atmosphere was great for a romantic dinner, although I did see several groups in the adjacent rooms that looked like they were having a good time as well. Def a spot I'd recommend for a special occasion."

  • "The ambiance of the restaurant is a bit mellow. The paintings on the wall throw off the dining experience. But the story behind the pictures are interesting. The portions are very good for the price you pay. It's fresh, quality food."

  • "I went for a great steak and ended up getting the sea bass special that was the best I'd ever had!"

  • "Sides of brussel sprouts, sautéed spinach, and mushrooms were over the top and great as usual! The 14 oz filet was not as tender as it should have been, so I would rate it average at best."

  • "The Palm was a great place to celebrate my birthday! Wonderful food, and great service... It was a very nice experience. the only slight negative was the noise level. It was extremely loud. This may be due to the fact that there were several large parties of women seated in close proximity making a lot of noise."

  • "The Palm did a nice job this past week for our dinner. All diners had steak and they were all cooked perefectly except for one person whose steak was overcooked. Starters and sides were all very good, and the service was great, as it always is."

  • "Fantastic steaks and sea bass. Great wine list and excellent service. Key lime pie to die for."

  • "The tables for two are very small for such a large meal but that turned out to be one of the benefits of our first experience at the Palm. We truly enjoyed meeting our table-mates, Ed and Kathy, who helped segway the surprise tickets for the Steely Dan concert I slipped my husband during dinner. They had tickets too. It is a rare opportunity this far inland to enjoy lobster flown in from Nova Scotia. We feasted before the concert and were well taken care of by friendly staff. I highly recommend the Palm for your next special occasion"

  • "For the level of restaurant that the Palms is, I expect better service. We were seated for 20-25 minutes before we ever even had water brought to us. Once the food arrived, it was delicious so kudo's to the chef but the wait staff was non-existent. I won't be back and won't recommend to any company or business clients in town. There are too many other choices."

  • "First time in Nashville and we wanted to go out for a great dinner. We have been to the Plam in Florida, DC and NYC. So we knew we could count on the Palm to come through. They did not disappoint!"

  • "Our favorite. We always have a great meal. One of the best steaks in town."

  • "Food was good! Love the bread. Service too much in our faces and staring at us. Not romantic, loud and crowded."

  • "I've been to this restaurant several times and it seems that the time has come to make a different choice when I am in town. The food was just okay. In my group of 6, there was nothing standout and the Chicken Parm has definitely gone downhill. The service was the worst part of the meal. Server was demeaning in his jokes and treated his busser so badly that it was uncomfortable to be watching. Too snooty for their own good I think."

  • "Fantastic restaurant in a fantastic location! We always have a great meal and they have wonderful service! This time I had a meeting before our dinner and asked for special accommodations and they were great! We love the Palm and would recommend it to any friend!"

  • "I was in town to see a concert at the nearby Ryman Auditorium, and wanted to find a place where we could have a great meal, celebrate being in Nashville, and go to a show. The service was excellent. Wine was great. Meals were perfect--good sized portions that were perfectly prepared. Will definitely go again."

  • "We have been to most of the steak houses in town and for the money, The Palm is the best. And probably the biggest surprise is that it is kid friendly. I am amazed at how accomodating they are with kids! We were there to celebrate a birthday and as always they made it a very special occasion. We all had a combonation of different steak and seafood dishes and all were fantastic. They are known for their NY Strip and it is amazing."

  • "Just to be brief: the service was great but the food simply just didn't deliver. The cost came out to 5 star dining but overall was completely overpriced. Nothing made us feel like we were getting a superior dining experience other than our server who was great with reco's and attentiveness."

  • "I never have any doubts about dining at The Palm. It is the place I go to talk to potential clients. Food and service are very good."

  • "This is a great place to bring clients for lunch. The cost is really no more than any place on West End. The Power Lunch offers three courses for $26. I have hosted several clients at The Palm. This year I was hosting clients in a private room during CMA Fest. They had a minor fire in the kitchen that afternoon which pretty much closed the restaurant, but they still honored our reservation. The staff cooked the food on the kitchen at the kitchen next door. The Palm really goes the extra mile."

  • "The food was fantastic. We shared clams casino and shrimp Bruno and shrimp cocktail. All were perfectly done and delicious. We also had the lobster bisque which was the best I've ever had. The chicken parmasean was perfect, but you do have to ask for a side of speghetti, it's not included. We topped it off with the Creme brûlée which was heavenly. The wait staff was very attentive and professional. The atmosphere was romantic. My husband & I will definately come back the next time we're in Nashville."

  • "Always like the food, but way overpriced. $38 for a 6 oz piece of fish is way too much. It might explain why the Palm was empty except for 4 tables."

  • "This is the 2nd time I have eaten there before a concert. The first at the Ryman and this week at the Schermerhorn. My sister was with me this time so we decided to splurge. Normally I just grab something at Margarittaville but I have to say the balloon lady on stilts was really getting on my nerves. Every so often a balloon animal would POP and it startle me.The waiter was chatty, the mood was jovial. The steaks are expensive but we both agreed they were wonderful. Sides are large and can easily be shared. The smaller side could be split twice, the larger ones would easily give 4 people a taste. You can also sit in the bar where they have a less pricy menu. We wanted a relatively quiet place to eat and this was perfect."

  • "My wife and I have enjoyed the Palm on several occasions, for business as well as pleasure. Our last experience was a huge diassapointment! We did not have a resservation and walked in from the 4th of July fireworks display. The matradee said that we could not get a table for 1 and half hours. We went on "Open Table" and had a reservation within 15 minutes. (What happen to the hour and half)! We both order the seafood sepical and it was cold and not cooked to order. The resturant was very loud and the ambience was not inviting. This was last time at the Palm!"

  • "We ordered the 4 lb. lobster (to share for two - $99). By the time it was boiled/broiled and split between the two of us, we probably only had about .5 lb. or less of lobster each. We ordered a New York Strip (18 oz.) to accompany it. Our waiter kept advising that "it is a lot of food". Unfortunately, we were still hungry after the lobster and steak. No drinks, only water = total bill = $165 w/out tip. Hmmm, don't get sucked into the overrated 4 lb. lobster. Stick with a steak. The steak was ordered medium rare, came rare. Sent back for a two minute sear and came back perfect. Steak was outstanding. Lobster very little flavor."

  • "We were disappointed. We have eaten here two times in the last few months and generally the food had been good to very good. We ordered some things - like the green been side dish and it was inedible. It was barely blanched - so very hard and chewy and had no real taste. We ordered the beans before and they weren't like that. The veal wasn't great - it was just okay. For the prices, it wasn't worth it. We spend over 200 dollars and came away disappointed that we were better off spending 75 at California Pizza kitchen."
