  • "Food was delicious, especially the crab cakes. Service was fabulous!"

  • "My travel companions and I were attending the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four event at the Bridgestone Arena so your location was very convenient. It was clear from the start that our service attendant thought we were low-class customers since we received very little courtesy from him and he didn't volunteer any information until it was time to leave. His busboy was much more engaging. The food quality was quite good but when I realized I paid $30 for a 6 ounce glass of Duckhorn red wine, I was appalled. The prices did not reflect the atmosphere or service. Unfortunate!!"

  • "Food was great. The service started out and ended great, but felt we were forgotten about at times."

  • "Great service, great food, great ambiance and would highly recommend."

  • "Whether you're in the mood for a steak, seafood or Italian, the Palm never disappoints. While other restaurants may offer more creative fare, the quality of the food, the professional service and the one of a kind ambiance keep us coming back. We've been loyal customers for more than a dozen years."

  • "The Palm in Nashville is right next to the convention center and near the pedestrian bridge that leads over the river to the Titans stadium. A New York style steakhouse restaurant with close tables and a buzz of people talking. The food and service are both absolutely wonderful. Valet parking is also a real plus where parking can cost $15-$20 for two hours."

  • "We were looking for an alternative to bar food, and this was the only place that could take our reservation on short notice. While it was good, it was definitely overpriced."

  • "We were in town for a bachelorette party, and as the maid of honor, I wanted the dinner to be memorable and intimate. The setting was perfect and the restaurant was able to accomodate us in an intimate room off of the bar area. The food and service were both great, and since it was also within a few feet of Broadway, it was the perfect start to a very memorable evening celebrating the bachelorette. Thank you so much to the Palm for accomodating 11 girls with ease and class! :)"

  • "Was in town for the Women's Final Four and it was crowded everywhere. Used Open Table to find Palm, and we got a reservation. I have eaten here before, in Tampa, and was very happy with our meal and service. It's a little expensive, but well worth it."

  • "First, our server was great. We had a large group of 8 and he did a fantastic job. Tonight though, my issue was about the food. My wife ordered the pasta with white clam sauce. It was way too spicy and there were not enough clams. Everyone else though seemed to enjoy their meal. My wife admitted that she should have just stuck with a steak..."

  • "Fantastic private room for 10 with nice street view. Food was very good and service was outstanding. We had a very productive business lunch as a result."

  • "Was happy to see the Palm right down the street from our hotel. As usual with our favorite restaurant group, we had an excellent waiter, great food - my usual GiGi salad done just the way I like it and a great steak."

  • "In the Open Table reservation request, we specifically requested a table furthest away from the kitchen to avoid the noise level issues due to a member of my party having hearing problems. We were seated next to the kitchen with lots of background noise. The food was not good. We ordered Steak, seafood, pasta, chicken, and veges. The steak was cooked wrong, burnt to a crisp and uneatable! The chicken was horrible and very tough! The seafood was mushy and no good either! The veges and bread were excellent, but that was all we could say about this dinner. The service was okay, but they did not follow-up on us and was not a good service experience either. This was our 1st time at this Palm and I must say it is by far the Worse!"

  • "The Palm excels in their lobster, prepared perfectly and they come by and remove the meat from the claws for you."

  • "We were thinking Morton's and then saw this place. Everything was great, servers incredibly helpful and priced more reasonably than Morton's."

  • "We made reservations and our name was already on the valet parking list when we arrived. the service was excellent and the jallepeno rolls were delicious. I had the filet mignon & lobster oscar and it was great. My husband had the sea bass.We chose the goat cheese mashed potatoes & leaf spinach for our sides. the food was great and the service was great. Our meal came to $150 and that was drinking water, no appetizer and no dessert. The noise level was loud. It was a good experience but I'm not sure I would pay that much again."

  • "My kids are grown and though my wife and I spend much time together, there are those nights when things are a bit more special. This was one of those nights. Made reservations for a perfect time of the evening, just before things started getting crowded. We were seated within a couple minutes of arrival, and immediately we were made to feel comfortable and content. The food was fantastic. The wait staff was friendly, engaging, and even funny. Overall, it was a perfect, perfect evening. Thank you!"

  • "The food was good, the service was amazing (Dean was the best) and the experience was unforgettable. Yes, the food prices are a BIT high but I understand the ambiance and the location may be the reason for this. At any rate, the food price was not enough of a reason for me to not try this amazing place."

  • "Excellent dining experience! We had dinner before catching a show at the Bridgestone Arena & were blown away. Being right across the street from the venue allowed us to dine without worry, all dishes came out on time. I highly recommend The Palm."

  • "I have been gong to the Paln for over 15 years and I have been to this Palm3 or 4 times. This visit something went wrong. Now there were 4 in our party and no one else had a problem, but I did. I purchased the bone in rib steak and ordered it between rare and medium rare. It came medium well. I sent it back and after almost every one else was finishing up their meal my new steak came out and it was medium. No I was not going to ruin my friends meal so I did not send it back again. I have never had a bad meal at the Palm before so this was very disappointing and at these prices, it will be a while before I return."

  • "We were an hour late for our reservation on a very busy night. Somehow, the restaurant still managed to accommodate us. From the moment we arrived until we departed several hours later, the experience was fabulous in every way. My husband and I split the 18 ounce NY strip and a 3 lb. lobster tail. Both were exquisite. Out waiter, Joshua, not only provided excellent service, but expert recommendations. This is a true gem!"

  • "Dinner with my daughter, son-in-law and my two teenage sons prior to a concert at a Bridgestone arena. Service was friendly & impeccable. Food was fantastic. Three of us had steaks, one had sea bass and one had the lamb....all of it was on point! This place has never disappointed . A lot of celebrities and music industry titans were in attendance with just boosted the atmosphere even more!!"

  • "I have been dining at the Nashville Palm for years, since it opened. While the origiginal Palm @ 837 has lost some luster since the owners made the Palm a chain, dining in cities like Nashville has been greatly enhanced by their presence. A few meals ago the manager told me that Nashville was their highest revenue location. Forgive the pun, but it just goes to show how hungry the town is for an upscale, fairly sophisticated dining option. Having only 3 and 4 lb. lobsters on the menu was a small disappointment (another unintended pun). With 3 big acts in town March 21 including George Strait & Cheryl Crowe we settled for a 4 p.m. table for 6. We were a bit late but they were gracious about it."

  • "Business dinner, but would make a great location for a romantic dining. Quiet atmosphere, soft lighting, outstanding professional service. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions. We had filet and Seabass entrees and elected to share the generous portions of asparagus and scalloped potatoes. Food was advertised and wide variety of choices...even though it is a chain......well done !!"

  • "We really enjoyed our appetizers and had great steaks, but the sides with the main course were disappointing - stodgy potato dish, undercooked beans. Desert was good. All the prices were high, and the wine list was ridiculous. Having said that, we took one of the cheapest wines in the whole list, and found it to be surprisingly good. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner, but at $130 per head before tips, this was pretty expensive."

  • "We chose to dine here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. It may have been because of the night we went (3/15/14 - the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day and there was a Predators game across the street) but overall it was disappointing. The ambiance was terrible for a romantic dinner. Overall it felt like we ate at a high end sports bar. We felt like we were part of a impersonal process of serving and clearing in order to open the table as fast as possible. Like a previous review said, it was rushed. Our reservation was at 7:00 and we were out of there at 8:15. That included appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert. As soon as we set our fork down finishing one course the next was delivered within 60 seconds. Bummed overall."

  • "Never had a poor experience at Nashville Palm until tonight. Quality of food was not the usual, reservation time was not honored, not the usual, experienced servers. Not worth the prices this evening."

  • "We ate in the cigar room before the Billy Joel Concert. The drinks and food were wonderful! A little loud in the bar area."

  • "My daughter and I enjoyed a great light meal of 3 appetizers/salads before a Ryman performance. Shrimp salad, seared tuna and calamari were all well prepared."
    Dined on 3/5/2014
  • "Food was excellent, service good but nothing special. We were surprised at how noisy this restaurant was. Besides having too many tables crammed into a small place, it was incredibly noisy, to the point where conversation was difficult if not pointless. Definitely not worth $100 per person, and we didn't order dessert."

  • "Our group consisted of myself and three cusotmers. We had a reservation and were seated on time. The first impression was the place was loud. Then the waiter showed up out of breath and explained that he had three tables all seated simultaneously and he apologized in advance that service would be slow. It was. The food was great, but the slow service meant we had a lot of time to talk, but it was loud, so it was hard to hear each other at times. I will go back if someone I'm with wants to go, but I personally won't recommend it."

  • "I was seated with half of my party with the assurance that the rest of my group would be seated when they arrived. I found my guest 20 minutes later in the bar. Making my reservation late and the waitress unplesant. The food was great but for the money we paid for dinner the service left alot to be desired."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 12 year anniversary @ the Palm. We had a fantastic evening. The service was incredible as was the food. We were well taken care of the entire time we were there. Portions are huge and delicious. We have leftovers for days. Well worth it. We will definitely be back!"

  • "The Palm is well-located in downtown Nashville. No need to worry about parking because they do a great job with valet parking. Despite our best efforts to celebrate an anniversary, we were seated at a two top where we could hear every word that our next door neighbors (18 inches away) said. Unfortunately, the restaurant delivered me the wrong steak. They did offer once to replace it. When I declined, they modified my bill to charge me more for the wrong steak that had been prepared incorrectly. I could not leave quick enough with a big bill and an evener bigger disappointment to our evening on the town."
