"I loved that we were seated quickly and everything was served promptly. The Wait staff was just perfect in how much attention they paid to our table. Not a problem handling separate checks which some restaurants have trouble with. Food was great and there was a very wide variety as well as a wide variety of prices."

"We were pleased with the food but we didn't see the waiter much. We finished eating and sat there for about 10 minutes waiting until he came by and asked if we wanted desert and we said yes we ordered and 2 minutes later someone other than our server brought our desert and after we were done with it we sat there and didn't see anyone for about 15 min until a waitress brought food to the table across from us and we had her get our check to us. Not to mention the couple beside us at the bar making out the whole time we were there."

"Although I have been to the Davenport Hotel on several occasions I had never eaten there. The Palm Court is a gem. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning soon."

"Had some good meals there, but it can be very hit or miss. Both the eggs benedict, and the pancakes my son got were served, well...it certainly wasn't hot by any means.
So if you want a plate that looks nice, but is served at little more than room temperature i.e. 74 degrees...this is the place for you. I'm taking a one year moratorium
on the place, untill they get their act together, again..."

"We last visited the Palm Court Grill about a year previously. At that time, we were quite impressed. Something has happened, however. The service was still good, but not outstanding. The food was the same. We were also disappointed by how limited the menu seemed, focused on casual fare like sandwiches and burgers. It even prompted me to ask our server if we'd received the luncheon menu! Results of the economy? We'd still visit again, but the experience very close to their other restaurant, the Safari Room. The Palm Court Grill is no longer a reflection of the Davenport's glitter."
