As we walked in the general aroma of cigars permeated the dining room (wafting in from the cigar bar in another area. Food was super duper, it was Tuesday night, very few occupied tables. We were six, one of us had a saucy fettucine and when we asked for a soup spoon (to twirl macaroni), THEy HAD NO APPROPRIATE SPOONS, only a large serving spoon - place was practically empty., where could the soup spoons be???? Appetizer dish which 3 of us were sharing - no serving spoon, no extra dishes same for dessert time, no serving spoons, no extra dishes, all had to be asked for. Staff was really nice but for the upscale-ness of this restaurant, they need to be more with it!!! Service was very good, although they were busy on Friday night and the main course was a little slow coming out of the kitchen. It wasn't a big deal as we were pretty satisfied after the appetizers and in no rush. They gave my wife a free glass of wine without us even complaining about the wait. We've never had brunch there, although I hear that it's outstanding. Great spot for a quiet lunch. Dinner reservations are easy to get as it's located in the middle of Eisenhower Park and a lot of people don't really know about it. You don't even notice it if you're driving through the park, so there's no 'foot traffic'. Didn't rate the food highest score as I was personally a little disappointed in the seafood entrée I chose but honestly it may have just been my choice as my friends really enjoyed their dinners.

The food, the presentation, the charming service, the attention to detail, the exquisite ambiance does make the Palm Court a perfect choice for a special occasion, but don't just save the Palm Court for special occasions since the price is comparable and even less than any other good restaurant. Check out the prices and you will be pleasantly surprised.
