38 minutes after the time of our reservation we were seated and things went well for a while. There was a 25 minute gap between finishing our salads and the presentation of the entrees. I had ordered filet mignon cooked medium but received well-done. Ten or so minutes later a new filet arrived. Service was outstanding, except for the gaps. Ambiance great.

Brunch at Palisade used to be an event we love to attend and recommend to anybody we know. regret to say that but Palisade manage to completely destroy it. Bruch is crazily expensive and provides poor food choice with the quality of food at the level of below average hotel brunch. it cost us $150 for 2 ($48 per person for food plus $10 per person for drink plus tax and tip) yet very unsatisfying. Hard to believe but Palisade went from being the best brunch place in Seattle to being the worst.

The whole family was able to share in the celebration, from eighty-two year old grandpa to three year old youngest grandchild. The birthday girl had a dessert with a candle, chosen from the fabulous dessert display, and there were rose petals sprinkled on the table along with a special card. The next generation of grandchildren enjoyed bottomless mimosas and stayed on undisturbed eating and drinking after the grandparents had paid the check and left.

I had been to restaurant week at this restaurant and had a fabulous meal. I made reservations this time for our anniversary. The appetizer, wine, and desserts were delicious. The entrée lacked flavor. I had salmon that was prepared very simple. Luckily I had substituted goat cheese mashed potatoes or there would have been NO flavor at all on my plate. My husband ordered the Halibut, but it was served over saffron rice with chorizo, these two items overpowered the halibut so that it may as well have not been on the plate. They said the halibut had been very popular...to that I say "of course" everyone loves and orders halibut. But did any of those patrons come back to order that same halibut? Probably not. The blandness of the entrée did not reflect the price! I would try again, just order differently.

Amazing view and amazing food! Wife had steak, I had halibut. Steak was wonderful, but a bit rare when we asked for medium well. Halibut was great, but overall plateing changed since I was last there, as it's now quite tart and with rice vs nice and rich with potatoes. Desert was of the chart amazing! overall experience was amazing, and I can't wait to go back!

I had requested in my open table reservation for a window seat and had mentioned the it was our three year anniversary. Every staff member said congrats and tried to make our day as special as possible, I had only mentioned it as a nudge to get the window. There were flowers on the table and a wonderful note on our table that was hand written and you could tell that it wasn't something that someone printed out half heartedly. Our server Triston was amazing, not only was he personable but attentive. We definitely want to go back for birthdays, celebrations and hopefully, if our wallets allow, a regular Sunday brunch. Thank you for making our day so special

Shared a lovely anniversary dinner with my boyfriend on Saturday night. Although the restaurant was completely full, our service was excellent and our service did not seem rushed. Our food came out in a timely manner and the expeditor described our dishes for us. There were rose petals and a card for us when we were seated at our table as well! Overall a great experience and I am sure we will be back soon.

As soon as you drive up they offer you a complimentary valet parking. You walk in with music that you would normally hear in a movie scene. The customer service was spectacular, the view / scenery couldn't have been more romantic and amazing!!! My date truly loved every second!! The food was definitely 5 star class, if there was room for a 6 stars - that would be my score!!! Without question, I will definitely be taking my lady back for an anniversary date, Christmas date, and Valentines!!

I haven't been to Palisade in a couple of years, then only for brunch. The food was as expected, very good. Of course the great view. Service was a bit slow and we had to flag down our waiter twice, once just to order and again to get a second bottle of wine. I do have a problem with restaurants that are so dark that you have to take out your phone and use it as a flashlight to read the menu. There was a candle (small, battery, no real help) on the table, but honestly, I could have napped in there it was so dark. This wasn't romantic lighting, it was just plain dark. I like a nicely lit restaurant - a few extra watts would have been nice. Would recommend - but would let them know about lighting.

My girlfriend and I hadn't been to Palisade in a while and wanted to celebrate a special occasion. The table by the window was waiting for us with rose petals and a nice note welcoming us to the restaurant. The waiter was attentive and helpful; the seasonal black fig flatbread appetizer and salad course were excellent and the halibut combined with a deconstructed paella was the best I've had. All and all, a romantic evening complemented with wonderful food and a view of downtown Seattle.

We had brunch here for my birthday celebration. We've done brunch at Palisade many times. But alas...things have changed. I was so looking forward to their elaborate bloody Mary bar where you choose your vodka and then fill up your glass with whatever mix and fixins you want. Now no more buffet Bloody Mary bar. They have extended their buffet menu but got rid of the special order entrees. That's unfortunate because they sacrificed quality for fast food. Our waiter kind of disappeared so food got colder while we waited for condiments. this brunch is exceptionally expensive but doesn't stack up to the food quality that I've come to expect from Palisade.

I feel Palisades has changed in quality over the years. The food wasn't quite as good as it used to be. They're raised their prices, too. I just don't feel that their food quality merits the prices they charge. It still has a beautiful view and plenty of waiters/waitresses to serve you, but I was disappointed overall. Sorry.

Went for the last day of SRW. This was our first time at Palisade. The ambiance was lovely although it was too dark to see anything other than the lights along the Seattle waterfront. The indoor koi pond and large aquarium are stunning. Our server was very attentive and the food was good. I normally do not order cheesecake (or desserts for the most part) but didn't want to have two flourless chocolate cakes. I'm not sure if the chocolate cake was their GF option but it tasted like and had the consistency of sweet fudge. However, the cheesecake was incredible! It was very light and flavorful.

Although early for our reservation were made to wait. We were sat at a terrible table the furthest from the marina view and complained since a couple arriving after us was sat at a view table! Would have left if the front desk hadn't given us a better table which they did, Service was mediocre, possibly because of the Seattle Restaurants promotion going on. Food however, was excellent as was the flourless chocolate cake dessert.

In the past we have had a number of enjoyable visits to Palisades and were quite satisfied with the food, service and ambiance. This most recent experience there was an exception. The service and atmosphere were fine but the food was a disappointment. The soup (bisque) was served almost cold and was relatively tasteless. The entrees were boring. The deserts were average. It seemed as if the quality control in the kitchen had broken down.

Palisade's is one of our favorite restaurants. Even during Restaurant Week, the food, service and ambiance are top notch. Michelle was our server and, as usual, she is friendly, happy and knowledgeable. We always try to sit in her section. Both of our meals were amazing and the Leonetti Wine was spectacular! There aren't many 'fancy' restaurants in Seattle, and Palisade fits the bill. Thank you for always delivering.

Palisade has gone through many changes over the past couple of years; most of them good. However, the menu has gone through changes and not all are favorable. In our latest dining experience, I ordered something I had in the past that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was quite disappointed that it was NOT the same dish. Previously, there were 5 or 6 large prawns stuffed with crabmeat. The prawns were succulent and cooked to perfection. The same menu item now has 2 HUGE prawns. The presentation was eye catching. However, they were dry and served still in the shell, which made it difficult to eat. It appears they traded taste for looks. The server indicated that he has heard the "inconsistency" complaint before.

I normally dine around DT Seattle during lunch hour, took a chance out of my way to try this restaurant, I was very disappointed. Server was polite, ordered from the regular menu, food was fair, nothing special. Early advance request for a nice table, got stuck at a terrible spot. Hostess did not care or try to help,, I did not make a fuss since I was on a business lunch with a important client. Will not go back.
