Farher's Day brunch on 6/16. Will definitely come back.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat anytime placeWe had a great time on saturday for lunch. Everything was perfect. Will be back as soon as I'm back in town.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing RestaurantIt is our favorite place to celebrate an event or special occasion. Highly recommend. Food is always fabulous!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful luncheon menuA wonderful luncheon menu to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Plus, the view is always outstanding! The meal choices we selected were absolutely delicious!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAttention to the DetailsPalisade offers fine dining at its best. The menu is extensive and impressive, and the service top-notch. We celebrated our anniversary with friends and took advantage of the first seating, 3 course menu after drinks and a shared appetizer. What a great deal!6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA very nice dinnerWe took my Mom to her favorite restaurant. Between taking my parents and my infant son, we decided to take advantage of the first seating price fixed menu. It was very nice. Three choices of appetizer, entree, and dessert. No vegetarian option, but not a problem for our party. I very much enjoyed the pork. My parents complimented the prime rib and salmon. The salad and bisque were great. We did try the bread pudding, but we mostly chose the apple crisp for dessert. Actually, each course was greeted with praise after the first few bites, and summarily consumed. Even the bread is very good.
If one looks up from the food for a moment, the view is wonderful. Add a very helpful staff & it is a very nice outing.
I'm sure we'll be back.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMTremendous!First time to Palisade since moving to Seattle; service was exceptional and the food was excellent! The views of Elliot bay, the Magnolia Marina, glimmer of Alki and urban Ferry's ... just a great place to eat, relax and enjoy such an amazing location.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent! The food was amazing and the view was spectacular.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial CelebrationsI brought my husband to Palisade to celebrate his 45th birthday in our first year of marriage.... Palisade went out of their way to provide extra little momentos to make is special. We were greeted with a keep sake card from the table and fresh rose petals. Our waitress has been there for over 10 years, her knowledge of the fresh fish and exceptional wine list was awesome. It was the perfect start to an incredible weekend, The food is never a disappointment.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Palisade continues toThe Palisade continues to be a restaurant of high quality. In general, the food is superb. We are amazed. The servers and other staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. We will be bringing friends over soon for a meal, as we have done in the past.
Keep up the good work and congratulations.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was great butThe service was great but the prime rib was sub-par. We ordered medium rare and both were medium and the quality of the meat was not what I've had before or what you'd expect at Palisade. I had bragged to the other diner about the prime rib and in so doing suggested it. Wish we'd ordered the salmon instead.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter, "Joel" was knowledgableOur waiter, "Joel" was knowledgable and very responsive. I am looking forward to a return visit to Palisade...6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMLunch specialA great place to meet a friend for lunch with a wonderful view of Seattle.
The food is well priced and excellent but check the price of wine by the glass when not selecting the house version.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe took friends from CaliforniaWe took friends from California for his birthday. They were really impressed with everything and can hardly wait to come back and try the Sunday Brunch.
Thank you for making it a special evening.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Birthday BashFood was excellent as always. Great view, enjoyed by family & friends. Has to be one of top 5 restaurants anywhere in Seattle. Will visit many more times in the future.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Sunday BrunchVery solid buffet comes solo, or as an automatic free add-on when you order a brunch entree. Make-your-own Bloody Mary set up had a good spread of Tabasco choices and nice range of olives, etc. Service is always considerate and prompt, the food is prepared as ordered (with substitutions easily available), and the view is wonderful. Don't know of anywhere else that has a player grand piano. Arrangements at the front desk are friendly and accurately handled - parking is a snap with great valet service.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful meal.Perfect place for a celebration, or even just your evening out. Elegant, beautiful view, wonderful food/service/ evening.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPalisades ROCKS!We had the best dining experience at Palisades! Our reservation was for 7:30 on a Friday night and after a five minute wait (so we could get a window table) we were seated at a large round table in the corner with GORGEOUS views of the harbor, the city, Mt. Rainier, Alki....it was breathtaking. A rather rowdy group we were as it was a reunion of our crew from fishing days, our waitress had a sense of humor and rolled with it, she gave us exceptional service. Favorite dish of the night - Kung Pao Calamari!!! All the food was fabulous, beautiful presentation. My scallops were cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend this restaurant for families, friends, special occasions, romantic dinners, brunch. Can't wait to go again!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic viewWe have lunch here fairly often and usually order one of the sushi items and salads. My husband loves the California roll and I always enjoy the bibb/crab salad. They are generous with crab, ginger and portions. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. This would be a great place to take out-of-town guests but don't advise sending them ont heir own as it is somewhat tricky to find.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love Palisade! We've been going to Palisade for anniversaries & birthdays for 9 years. The food is so good it brings happy tears to my eyes. Beautiful marina view, perfect at sunset. Service is always impeccable.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMSome Things Never ChangeIt had been seven years since I last dined here. The food and ambiance were exactly the same as the last visit. It was wonderful!5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWelcome spot for lunchA great spot for lunch with their three course menu. Food was very good and the view highlights everything Seattle has to offer!5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to celebrate aGreat place to celebrate a special occasion. Too pricey to go there regularly.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the breakfast BarOn their breakfast bar they had a pancake station, some of the best pancakes I've had in quite a long time. They also have a nice array of seafood, pastries, and desert. Their Garlic shrimp was amazing. The last time I went they had an american kobe beef steak on their breakfast/brunch menu, I was sad that they had gotten rid of that.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderfulThe view from the restaurant is magnificent. The service was great and the food outstanding. We have eaten here several times and the experience has always been wonderful. The restaurant was busy, but the had the staff so everyone had a great experience. I highly recommend.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent and youFood was excellent and you can't beat the ambiance but service was lacking. Waitress ordered incorrect meal for one of us which she corrected but she also completely ignored us once food arrived. Took us quite awhile to get our check and get checked out. I would go again and hope that this was just an off night for our waitress5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMI've dined here a few timesI've dined here a few times over the years and have always come away impressed by the service, food and ambiance. Despite this being a holiday weekend (and restaurant being about 50% full) it was no different. It was my date's (good friend) belated birthday dinner and I had asked that you do something (anything) special for her and you came through big by mentioning it to her both on our arrival and departure plus there was a card and rose petals at our table. Well done!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMStart of our cruiseWe could overlook our ship as we ate lunch. Great spot!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat lunch with friendsI had never been to Palisades but my wife had. Some friends were coming into town and would just be available for lunch. There only requirement was they wanted to eat "on the water." Not wanting to do a chain, I thought of Palisades. Glad we did. They have a wonderful, "Magnolia Lunch" which offers you the choice of three appetizers, 5 entrees and three desserts. All were outstanding. All for $16. We went for those in a variety of choices and everyone loved what they had. Great drinks and great service. Would go back again in a minute.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific, As AlwaysPalisade never fails. We took my soon-to-be 95-year-old mother there for a pre-birthday celebratory dinner during her visit to Seattle (it's her favorite dining spot here) and Palisade did not disappoint. Although her appetite has not been terrible, she practically cleaned her plate here, salad, Copper River salmon entree, and dessert. The risotto is an excellent vegetarian choice (though it would be nice if there were more than one choice). Great special-occasion restaurant.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMamazingMy buddy who use to work here told me to take my girlfriend here for a date night. What an amazing experience, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients in the food, and even history of some of the food. I will be returning many times in the future.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMI brought my husband hereI brought my husband here for a birthday dinner knowing it would be a high priced venue and hoping the food and atmosphere would prove it worthwhile...I was NOT disappointed! The food was the best I've had in years - absolutely mouth watering delicious! The restaurant itself is very unique, from its outdoor vistas to the indoor salt water pond complete with sea stars, anemones, and schooling fish! Loved everything about this place!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMNever disappoints! We had a reunion lunch at Palisade! Forty years later-and we decided to "catch up" in an incredible venue with excellent food and service! Thank you for being a part of a very special memory :)5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday DinnerWe went to Palisade for my husband's birthday dinner. I requested a window table which was accommodated. The only issue was there was a post that blocked the view from both sides of the table. The table had rose petals on in with a birthday wish--what a nice touch. The service was excellent. Stephanie was our waitperson. She was attentive without being too intrusive. The food presentation was well done and the flavor was wonderful. The halibut was done to perfection, and the rib eye steak was huge also was done to perfection. We will come back.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMgood for a business lunch, good for a business lunch, good food and service, lack of noise makes communication easy5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMRecommend by friendBrought my family there during my trip to Bellevue. Love the food, love the place. Will definite go again! Very delicious.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMCopper River Salmon Experts! Our annual visit this time of year for the one and only Copper River Salmon. The dinner was started with the lobster/crab dip, which is just plain outstanding! Had the Lobster Bisque and hubby had the Caesar Salad, both wonderful. Then the main course arrived. Totally FABULOUS! Kudos to the chef! Had it done on the applewood grill and the flavor was amazing! A true treat for the tastebuds!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's not everyday that I willIt's not everyday that I will splurge on a fancy dinner, but the three times I have at palisade, I've never been disappointed. The service is great--our servers have always been knowledgeable about the menu items and specials, and are always helpful in recommending items when I'm having difficulty deciding. The scenery is also wonderful, so be wire to request a window seat!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were there to celebrateWe were there to celebrate my wife's birthday, our service was was excellent. The food was as very well prepared and was served in a timely manner. the staff's attention to detail was appreciated. I will definitly return to this facility again.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for special occasionsPalisade's is a classic choice in Seattle for taking a date to a "nice dinner". Birthday's and anniversaries in particular seem to be a popular reason.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe gem that is Palisade...Love that they have freshened up the decor and, altho they no longer have my favorite scallop dish on the menu, the food was excellent once again. Prime rib dip and Yukon Gold 'fries' (which were actually deep fried wedges of carboliciousness) - yum!. The apple crisp dessert with caramel ice cream was overly sweet by a mile, perhaps would have benefitted from vanilla ice cream (I know, how vanilla! but work with me here, people) or the use of a more tart or milder fruit to offset the caramel ice cream...it was a wee bit of overkill on the flavors. Otherwise, a good time had by all of us, at least.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMNice lunchWe had a friend visiting from California and decided to go to Palisades for lunch. Such a beautiful view. The food was wonderful. Service was good, but the waitress could have been a bit more attentive. Overall a very nice lunch.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThree of us enjoyed the three-coursThree of us enjoyed the three-course meal. I had the salmon and it was delicious. the other two had the prime rib and said it was great. The California egg rolls and salad were also very nice. And the apple crisp was phenomenal. We really enjoyed everything about the evening - the service, the view, and the meal.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day happinessWhat a wonderful experience. It has been quite a few years since we have been to Palisades and I had forgotten how great it is! Great food!! Great service!! Excellent brunch.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDid not meet expectationsThis is one of our "go-to" special occasion restaurants. We had 7 people for Mother's Day. 4 people ordered steaks and everyone of them was overcooked. There was no rare or medium-rare to be found, all were well done. The scallops were awesome and the wine was good. We will probably give it another shot though because we have had so much success in the past.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSpectacular ExperienceThis year, I surprised my mom by making a reservation with Palisade for our Mother's Day dinner. She loves the atmosphere of the restaurant and the gorgeous view of the Marina and Elliot Bay, and even though the restaurant was clearly busy (since it was Mother's Day) we got both-- a relaxing, congenial atmosphere and a small table with a beautiful view of the water. Bonus: we were also close to the indoor fountain, and the burbling of the water soothed away any excessive noise from other diners. The food at Palisade is sublime, the cocktails are little bits of hand-crafted elegance and the dessert (really, you must try the apple-pear bread pudding, if nothing else) will make you swoon. Two thumbs way, way up in my book!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBEST MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH!Table was excellent! Buffet contained a variety of brunch foods including lots of seafood. While restaurant was crowded there was little noise. View of marina thru sparkling clean windows was superb! Dessert bites were tasty and right size.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dining experienceMy husband and I took our neighbor to Palisades for dinner over the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThe place to go!This is the place a like to go when something special is going on. We also do the early special that great for the food and the wallet. I like the view but also the open feeling of space. The waiters are treating guest like rroyality and the food is the best in town.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMseating arrangementInitially, we were seated in a spot that had my wife and I on the same side. This is much more difficult to talk with each other and while some couples may prefer not talking, we do. We should've been asked before walking all the way to the table and then having to walk all the way back. The restaurant did accommodate and solved the problem without too much of a wait, but it easily could have been worse.
Regardless, the service was outstanding and engaging. The food was great, but the above was an interesting start, and would've been far more difficult to resolve had the5/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
