We have dined at Palisades many times for special occasions. This was the first time the food was uneven. My wife's dinner was below average. The strawberry salad was only fair and the asparagus with the halibut was tough and chewy. Her halibut was very good. My prime rib and Caesar salad was great. The service was excellent along with the view. I still recommend but was disappointed with this meal for my wife.

The scenery was amazing, it was my first time, and the experience was exquisite, the staff was very professional, starting with complimentary vallet parking, to the front desk, to our waiter, all staff were knowledgable, patient, and overall good service, if I ever do comeback it will be to get the teriyaki appetizer, personally it was better than my entree however I'm not much of a food enthusiast so take that comment as you please. I loved the experience and will definitly return for more special occasions.

This was not our fist visit to Palisade; it is one of the places we like to go for special occasions. It is worth the drive from Everett for amazing food, ambiance and service, and this visit did not disappoint. We chose the crab and lobster dip as an appetizer. It was delicious - served with potato bread, which held up to the creamy dip. My spouse chose the seared Atlanic scallops, served on a bed of farro. The scallops were perfectly cooked. I chose the cedar-planked seafood trio: Atlantic scallops, honey glazed king salmon, and prawns. All were amazing. The wine list was good, and includes good selections by the glass, as well as by the bottle. Service was impeccable, and our special occasion was just that - special.

The food was delicious, however, my omelette was not correct and it took too long to have it made over and the server to bring it to us. We had to ask again for coffee and no salt and pepper was on the table so had to ask for that. We had a gift certificate, otherwise the restaurant would have been too expensive for us being retired and on a fixed income.

My hubby had never been here, so surprised him for his birthday. I noted on the reservation that we were celebrating his birthday. They decorated the table with rose petals and a card, which was a nice touch. Table next to ours was also celebrating a birthday, and they brought out a cupcake with a candle. I assumed they would do the same for my husband, but did not. When I inquired, they said you have to actually order a dessert (and pay) to receive the dessert with candle. Wasn't that impressed with that scenario after dropping 2 bills for dinner.

I've eaten here before and it was amazing. This time the service was outstanding, sadly the food was sub par. The side dishes lacked flavor and where completely over cooked. The lobster bisque was decent at best. The lobster and crab where wonderful ... Sadly it's not too hard to cook shell fish. $200 for someone to deliver food to my table with elegence didn't feel worth it this time. But, I understand the cost involved in finer dining.

Whether we come for special occasions (anniversary, birthdays, etc) or just spur-of-the-moment desire for dinner out, Palisade is our go-to spot. We are huge fans of the first seating fixed price menu because we happen to like dining in broad daylight (and we're that stereotypical age group!), but we've come for Happy Hour and lunch, too. We have never been disappointed. BTW, I have seen large family gatherings and small ones, too, and the openness of the seating and spectacular views let children enjoy meals during the earlier hours with the adults.

With the exception of the shrimp, which were rubbery and overly chewy (probably due to over-cooking), the food was as good as could be expected in a buffet environment. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and the number of choices available was exceptional. The service was good but not outstanding. The servers were very friendly and helpful but there were too few for the number tables for which each was responsible. The physical aspects and location of the restaurant was absolutely amazing. Truly one of the most beautiful restaurants I and my party has ever visited. The over-all experience was well worth the expense.

I was looking forward to Palisade. Ordered an appetizer that cost $69 (found out when bill came), worth maybe $30! In very small print in the middle of the last line of description was $69, followed by the price of $25, which lined up with the other prices on the appetizer menu! Surprised when bill came as we did not see $69 price. Our waiter was sub-par. I ordered scallops and he described them at about 3" in diameter and very thick. (U-5) Three on the plate. I got 1" scallops (U-11) and he brought me one more mini-scallop when I was all done with my meal. I spoke with day manager the next day and she said she would have the general mgr call me, he would want to take care of this issue. 2 weeks, still no call. Very disappointing.

My wife and I have been coming to Palisade for the last 20 years to celebrate our anniversary. We have always had good experiences. This time was a little different. When I booked through Open Table I specifically asked for a table on the window and not the "side-by-side" booths. After being seated 20 mins late we were taken to a side-by-side booth. Okay...fine. Then my prime rib came out and it was like chewing shoe leather. To the manager's credit he replaced it very fast and comped us the meal. That was great! Then, we ordered desert to go. We wanted the cheesecake...and when we got home we had some very melted ice cream. Needless to say, our 20th was disappointing. But we love Palisade and hope our next visit will be better.

We are hosting several out-of-town guests during a conference and chose Palisade to provide the venue for a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. We were not disappointed. The view is worth coming for and the tasty offerings more than satisfied our hunger for NW cuisine. Our guests were mesmerized by the view of Mount Rainier framed in the skyline of Seattle and the boat harbor as we savored everything from oysters on the half shell to cedar-planked salmon to a variety of tasty desserts. A definitely wonderful evening.

We have eaten at Palisades a number of times but this last time was not nearly as enjoyable. The lobster, crab dip was outstanding, the salmon on the trio plate was good, the scallops were terrible, the prawns stuffed with crab were tough and tasteless, a huge disappointment considering how pricey the entrees are. Overall if we had not eaten a great brunch previously and had other good dinners we would not return.
