We had lunch on a busy, snowy Saturday. The restaurant was packed, we waited, despite having a reservation. The service wasn't great. My water glass was completely empty on two occasions. The waiter was nice but too busy to really give us the attention we would have liked and expected given the prices. The food was good, but not fantastic. It's a captive audience, good if you're at the museum but certainly not someplace I'd go if it were not in the museum. It would be great if they have vegetables or a healthy choice on the children's menu.

Had an nice lunch during the Brilliant members event. The menu was a bit updated but still had some favorites. The sweet corn soup wasn't as well executed as well n the past (a little chunky) while the turkey BLT was fantastic.

Dining at Palettes was a birthday treat combined with enjoying the current exhibit at the DAM. Our smoked salmon salads were generously portioned, nicely presented and delicious. The service was appropriately unobtrusive but attentive. We were encouraged to linger and enjoy one another's company.

Palettes never disappoints! My sister and I always make reservations when we come to the museum and usually get seated by the window. I have always ordered the tuna, but by mistake got the salmon and it was superb. Soooo flavorful. Our waiter was apologetic and I could have returned it, but glad I kept it. He comped us coffee and tea after the meal. Very classy dining experience.

We dine here often and have never been disappointed. This probably is our favorite lunch place in downtown Denver and we have had a condo downtown for 10 years. We have seen many restaurants come and go, but Palettes remains year after year and maintains consistently very good food. I love that they have theme dining that goes along with the exhibits, very creative and delicious.

I live in the foothills, and lunch with a friend in Denver is for all practical intents and purposes, an all day trip. Palettes is my favorite place to spend some time eating well and indulging in conversation whilst people watching. The soft egg/herbed ricotta ravioli was outstanding, and I'm planning another opportunity as soon as I can manage.

The patio or inside window seating makes great people watching as they pass by or climb the sculpture. My gazpacho and salad combo were very small but served so pretty I didn't care. My husband's turkey club was generous with a mound of delicious tiny thin fries. Several nice wine choices by the glass. A relaxing white-table-cloth lunch with attentive service in a good museum. It has a ways to go to match lunch at MoMa, but much better than many tourist attractions.

I have never eaten at Palettes so this was most enjoyable. We sat by the window so you can "people watch" as all kinds of people walk between the Art Museum and the Denver Library. Food was excellent for my wife and myself. Will definitely return as the menu had lots of options! Very good service!

We ordered the prix fix and it was a bargain when you consider what you get - an app, a main, and a desert from the core menu (no "special" prix fix menu). We loved every course, the service was excellent, and the setting was lovely. Yet we did not hesitate to bring our daughter. A foodie haven, especially for those with kids.
