We had not been to Palettes for a couple of years and we found the food delicious and the service fine, a little pricey but we loved it. Interesting and unusual menu but always good to have a hamburger on the menu!

2 in our group had the salmon salad & thought it was great. 1 had the mac & cheese with carrots & kale, 1 had the grilled brie sandwich & our vegetarian chose the eggplant gateau. Everyone was happy with their choices.

The patio or inside window seating makes great people watching as they pass by or climb the sculpture. My gazpacho and salad combo were very small but served so pretty I didn't care. My husband's turkey club was generous with a mound of delicious tiny thin fries. Several nice wine choices by the glass. A relaxing white-table-cloth lunch with attentive service in a good museum. It has a ways to go to match lunch at MoMa, but much better than many tourist attractions.

I had the brie sandwich. Although there was a little brie in it, it was way overpriced for the amount of protein. The salad that can with it was mostly lettuce. My wife ha the salmon also overpriced.

I have never eaten at Palettes so this was most enjoyable. We sat by the window so you can "people watch" as all kinds of people walk between the Art Museum and the Denver Library. Food was excellent for my wife and myself. Will definitely return as the menu had lots of options! Very good service!

The atmosphere was wonderful. It was fun watching all the people using the pavilion to move from the library to the museum and back to civic center park. Lots of activity. The food was inventive and delicious. It was an excellent way to enjoy a meal with a friend while viewing art at the museum.

We ordered the prix fix and it was a bargain when you consider what you get - an app, a main, and a desert from the core menu (no "special" prix fix menu). We loved every course, the service was excellent, and the setting was lovely. Yet we did not hesitate to bring our daughter. A foodie haven, especially for those with kids.

Dining at Palettes, located in the at the Denver Art Museum, is artistry in food. The presentation was only rivaled by the multi-levels of flavor provided by chefs who please both the eye and palette. The simple, sleek restaurant is lined with windows to showcase the Denver is worth exploring.

I usually make reservations at Palette's when I am going to the museum. It is perfect before or after the museum. It is ideally located in the older building of DAM even though the special exhibits are usually in the newer building across the street. The menu is truly unique with dishes that offer a wonderful blending of flavors and ingredients. I like to try different items and there is always a prix fixe offering. The service is good even on busy days. I also like the ambience and the windows all around are great for people watching!

Seated by back door to kitchen with view of slightly grubby kitchen entry area and waiters rushing by table. Not happy about that. The food was not of same quality as last year when dined there. Potato Leek soup was way too salty, Netherlands cocktail was ordinary, salad was okay but too much dressing. Disappointed.

The ambiance and wait staff are very pleasant. We ordered hamburgers and diet soda. The diet soda was flat and they replaced it. The burgers were just ok; we ordered medium rare and medium and they came out well done. The worst offense was when a clump of dust fell from the open ceiling (with all the wires and duct work visible) fell onto the table. We spoke to the manager and told him that they need to clean the ceiling; luckily it didn't fall onto our food. The overall quality of our meal doesn't seem to reflect Kevin Taylor's reputation.

Palettes always has something unusual that I want to try. The ingredients are fresh and the portion size just right. It is elegant, but hip and the wine list is good. It is a great place to dine before or after a museum visit or to people watch through the large windows. I have never been disappointed with the food. The bread and butter alone are fantastic. I had a mushroom tortellini that was delicious.

We love Palettes for the innovative food and the proximity to DAM. However, on this occasion, as mentioned in the Open Table comments section, we stated that it was our 50th wedding anniversary. At the very least we hoped for acknowledgement, not necessarily anything as a gift. What did we receive? Nothing! We will be back but it could be a long time in coming.

We arrived ahead of time and there were only a few tables occupied. We did not order immediately but it took one hour for our food to arrive. We were concerned because we had a docent tour at 1pm and our food was still not served until 12:20pm. The waiter claimed the eggplant had a medium breading. I call it VERY heavy breading. The waiter provided separate checks at our table. But, instead of distributing them to each guest, he plopped them in the middle of the table and took off. Since we had little time until our docent tour, we tipped and paid. He picked up the tabs quickly. Those of us who paid cash were out of luck as we did not see that the tip was included in the price. Some who used cc paymt were able to delete the extra tip.

We went to Palettes for Brunch on Mothers Day and overall most of the food was very good, but there was one thing that really threw everything off, and it seems so basic. Their hashbrowns are fried potatoes out of the deep fryer. This is the shortest of short cuts and maybe it speaks to limited grill space. However, when your bill for breakfast for two adults and a child is approaching $100, you expect more. The other item not quite right item is the bottomless mimosa's, premixed before they bring it to the table and too much juice - my advice is just order something else. We had all breakfast items and all were good - French Toast, Omelette and Shrimp and Crab Cake Benedict. The location if you are going to the museum is great.
