"the special YSL 3 course lunch with bubbles is fantastic! service was a little slow, and took about 30mins longer than we anticipated, but we were out for a relaxing day so we didnt mind that much. If we needed to be somewhere right after it would have been stressful"

"Such a great place to eat! Food is always fresh and delicious. I tend to only order meals that are in my comfort zone when I go out to eat but the fact that the food is so good allows me to be a little more adventurous!"

"With the Yves St Laurent show on at the museum, Palette's was very busy and the service was excellent. Much improved over our last visit. Food was, as usual, wonderful. Nice wine selections if somewhat limited."

"We had just been to the Art Museum for the YSL exhibit and had a fabulous lunch at Palettes. The corn chowder was absolutely amazing and my Mom enjoyed the Ahi Tuna. We were both very pleased with the service, ambiance and menu. We'll definitely return for more corn chowder!"

"A beautiful space in the Denver Art Museum with outstanding people watching outside the big picture windows. Service is topnotch, friendly and prompt. The food doesn't live up to its menu billing or to its pricing, but it is good. Appetizers are either overpriced or under-generous depending on your attitude ($12 for a single chili rellano?). Entrees tend to be better, but the red cabbage was tasteless and the corn soup didn't taste of corn. Desserts are just this side of hopeless - a baba au rhum was a cupcake with a couple of tablespoonfuls of a rum pineapple sauce; the tarte tatin was a vol au vent containing a bit of apple compote (each for $9).The good sisters Tatin wouldn't recognize their creation."

"Receptionist said that the restaurant did not receive the OpenTable reservation. Could have been a problem if the restaurant were busy. Especially convenient before or after visiting the museum. Receptionist was exceptional."
