  • "We enjoyed lunch on the patio. Server was attentive & our meal was prepared just as described in the menu. Not our first time dining here; Paladar is consistent with super service & food preparation. The guacamole & salsa are a must! If you can attend their happy hour, get there early, as the bars fills up! Great happy hour specials!"

  • "One if our best restaurant meals this summer. We eat vegan food with no added oil. When I emailed ahead, they made suggestions that resulted in a delicious meal that complied with our dietary needs. Guacamole was terrific!"

  • "Always good food & cocktails, I will continue to visit. Favorite fish tacos and the guacamole appetizer"

  • "Had another great meal and experience. GM came by as always (new face) to make sure everything was good."

  • "We came to Paladar for lunch because we had other errands to do nearby. While the house made chips and guac, kids meals, and my rum glazed Cuban pork were excellent, my wife's salad was just OK, and our service was dreadfully slow. We saw at least two other parties seated after us that got their food before we did. When a manager was alerted to the problem, he simply said that our food would be out next, but did nothing else to address the problem."

  • "Had Friday night dinner at Paladar during trip to Cleveland. Cordially greeted & promptly seated outside, as requested. Waiter was pleasant & fairly attentive, but service from him, the bar, & kitchen was slow overall, esp. as we were dining late and the place was not crowded at all. Noticed adjacent diners similarly frustrated. Surprisingly, the extensive rum menu lacked Barbancourt, so had margarita instead; delish. Ditto the fresh guacamole, served w/crispy house-made mixed chips (SO good, esp. the plantain chips). We had Argentinian mixed grill; skirt steak, chicken & chorizo were all good, but chimichurri on grilled veg tasted briny/pickly (yuck!) rather than of lime/herb; bland rice and flour tortillas were a waste of carbs."

  • "If you like Latin American/South American food, you'll enjoy this place. Happy hour is a great deal (but get there early. You won't find a seat if you arrive past 6) and the regular menu has lots of great options."

  • "We were again treated to 2 excellent food choices: skirt steak & a special fish dish. Both were beautifully plated & delicious. The service was at its usual best. I had the traditional mojito; my wife had the special margarita. We thoroughly enjoyed the guacamole appetisor. We've eaten at this restaurant many times & the food, ambience & service were excellent. We will definately return - maybe next time for lunch."

  • "This was our first visit to Paladar. We had an OpenTable reservation for 7:45, and we arrived by 7:15 and had planned to sit at the bar until our table would be ready. Surprisingly, they seated us right away, which was nice. From there, everything else was excellent. Our waitress did a great job in explaining some of the more popular dishes. Great drink menu, food, atmosphere, and service. Will definitely be returning."

  • "this place is great but they are doing drinking wine a miss service. Keep to beer and alcoholic drinks don't even try to supply wine or if you do at least keep it properly and not at 75 degrees"

  • "I've come here a few times for special occasions both in a larger group and with just a few people. The food is always well prepared. I think they may be skimping on their guacamole. A few years ago I remember getting more in a serving and not having it include green tomatillos (filler?). All in all, I'd come back. Great dining experience and great service."

  • "Perfect meal from start to finish...mojito and pomegranate ginger mojito went well with the super-fresh guacamole appetizer. Short ribs and rum-glazed pulled pork over mango coconut rice were excellent -- flavors went well, and the meat was fork tender in both dishes. Superb attention (but not intrusive) from the waiter..including noticing that we thought the coffee was cold, so he brewed a fresh pot. The Mexican chocolate cake was huge (we shared it and had leftovers) and delicious. A bit pricy ($78 before tip for 2 with 2 drinks, 2 coffees, 2 entrees, small guacamole, and 1 dessert)...but worth it for a special treat. The coffee is delicious, too (even when it's not hot!)."

  • "We discovered this place online when looking for vegetarian food while driving on the interstate. Food was outstanding. We had a quinoa and black bean burger, delicious guacamole and chips made from vegetables. For dessert we had some tasty flan. Our waiter, Jed, was excellent, very professional and personable. The bar manager, Peter, came out to the patio where we dined, and asked how things were. We would definitely return to Paladar in this very nice shopping area."

  • "Went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed! Our waiter was excellent: friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was beautiful and delicious. My husband had the feijoada and I had the cuban pork in the rum sauce. We had dessert as well...also excellent. I would definitely want to return here!"

  • "This is true Latin food. They also make a good capirinha, always refreshing in warm weather. Their outdoor patio is a favorite of ours. Out waiter, Tim, was terrific and fun. Only problem... they took my favorite dish, pulled chicken with aioli, plantains and arrepas off the menu!"

  • "A nicese eclectic mix of elements - Spanish, Mexican, Brazilian, Cuban dishes. presented with style. I had the Braised Beef Ropa Vieja, and a spinach/hearts of palm salad. Generous portions of both. A nice blend of flavors in both dishes."

  • "My family is made up of mostly vegetarians. There were plenty of options for all of us and the waitress was a sweetheart. She put up with the group not-wanting / then wanting to switch tables; and also editing our order a couple times."

  • "The notion of a latin-infused brunch was a bit provocative, but turned out to be a terrific experience. This brunch is not a buffet - you order established brunch meals from the menu. It's definitely a twist on the traditional American breakfast selections. We ordered a variety of meals: Maple Pulled Pork and Fried Eggs, Fried Eggs and Short Rib Hash, Chipotle Honey Chicken and Cornbread, etc. All meals were excellent. We'll definitely go back."

  • "Paladar's has great options for any non-meat eaters in your group. The black bean/quinoa burger and grilled veggie salad are both excellent. Service is always great too. When we mentioned to our server that we would be sharing our two entrees, they brought both entrees split on separate plates for each of us."

  • "This was my third time at Paladar, and let me say the third time was not the charm. Our waiter was terrible. He starred off good, then slowly declined. Highlights of the evening: I found several pieces of sticker in my dinner (the sticker was from the tomatoes used in the pico on my dish), my side of zucchini was bitter and disgusting, my friend asked for a side of rice because her dish was very spicy and it took over 10 minutes for the waiter to remember and retrieve it. The good thing was that theanager apologized for the sticker in my food, comped it and gave me another to go. The bad thing about that is that there was more sticker in that one. I do not think I will be going back to Paladar. At least not for a long time."

  • "Paladar is one of my favorite places to go for a great drink and to indulge in good food. Their chips are my favorite so I was really disappointed that we only got the plantain and corn chip varieties in our two baskets. My salad was ok but not as good as usual. I will go back and hope things are as good as they have always been in the past. "

  • "My family went to Paladar for a graduation dinner celebration. The food was delish. We especially liked the the skirt steak however, everthing we ordered was outstanding. Pass on the flan for dessert. It is a really small serving. We really enjoyed the pineapple cake and chocolate cake. Large serving of the chocolate cake! The restaurant could use a facelift. The tables were beat up and the place looks a little dirty. Restrooms were not clean."

  • "Six of us went to Paladar on Friday night. We had an outstanding server who immediately took our drink order and explained the guacamole of the night special. We ordered the trio of 3 types and promptly go our drinks, etc. The meals were all very good and we even had the manager and owner come over to make sure everything was perfect. They were both very cordial and wanted to make sure all was good. We were not hurried through dinner and just enjoyed eating and talking. Another great job by everyone at Paladar. Keep it up!!! "

  • "I love paladar s fish stew but it is way spicy for me. They have aleays made it mild and it is the best! Well...Saturday night they said they were too busy and couldn't do it. I was very disappointed but...I had the half chicken. It was delicious but it wasn't my fish stew! The food is fabulous. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Great place."
