The Ropas Veja is AWESOME! The fresh guac choices are incredible (I had the pumpkin seed guac and it ROCKED).

I went there for my Birthday with my family and everyone loves their meals. I enjoyed everything from my drink to my dessert. The service was great and after dinner the manager walked over to table and asked if we enjoyed our meals and the service. The atmosphere is great as well and the drink menu has lots to choose from. Ian was our server and was right on time from start to finish! Great personality,attentive and since everyone did not arrive on time, he was still able to be where we needed him when we needed him.Four of our guests are excellent cooks and three of them are sons and daughter of Latino parents, and are accustomed to good Latin cooking. I must say the cooks at Paladar kept us happy and truly satisfied with each dish, since we are all used to sharing great food together.From the Seafood Veracruz to the Jamaican Curried Shrimp, to the tender and tasty short ribs, every dish was delicious and well worth a repeat trip. WE SHALL RETURN!!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a pleasurePaladar has always been a my go-to restaurant when I don't know what I'm feeling for but yet I want to treat myself and my wife to a good dinner. We've so far (after 12+ visits) never had a bad visit to Paladar. This time around, we tried their Coconut Curry Vegetable, which I have tried in the past and has been awesome. Since my last visit, they have added a "Charred Tomato and Corn Salsa" which was probably their best salsa yet. And we finally gave in to try their Mexican Chocolate Cake dessert (which I had with the Mexican Cafe Mocha) and that was amazing as well. I had the yuca, plantains, empanadas, and ropa vieja. Each one made us very happy. The menu is filled with great options and everything we ordered smelled and tasted great! Even the bar has great small bites on their menu. The rum was a bit over priced but having the flight allowed us to sample different rums without killing our pockets.
