Parking was surprisingly easy to find out front. Seated immediately upon arrival, even at a few minutes prior to our actual reservation time. Walked past a well-decorated, well-stocked bar. Though mostly occupied the restaurant was fairly quiet at first (maybe 7:30p), then by the time we finished dinner the room was quite loud and vibrant but not frustratingly so (8:30p). The Latin-style food was exquisite. I got the seafood enchiladas and the fiance got the paella - both delicious. Excellent drink list. Server timed/staggered appetizer and entree service perfectly. Upscale crowd yet uniquely casual atmosphere. Normally, I go there as much for their amazing patio and beautiful Victorian house setting as I do for the outstanding food. But on this visit, it was raining, so they prepared us a gorgeous table upstairs inside a round picture window. The normal Palacio menu is outstanding. My friends raved about the Seafood Enchiladas and Ceviches. I'm a vegan, though, so it's always a challenge to find something I can eat. That was not the case here. They have a Cauliflower Capeada that normally has cream sauce and queso, and I asked them if they could modify it to make it vegan, and they did without hesitation. Very fresh & inventive Latin cuisine that excites your taste buds! And it's located in a historic Victorian house in the scenic downtown of Los Gatos. A little higher than normal noise level in the 'after work' hours due to the bar & an open floor plan, but quiets down by a late dinner seating. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. It might be a bit noisy in other areas of the restaurant but our seats great. It was a great place for a date night with the wife. Sunday at 6:30p, there was plenty of seats available and it seemed most people were seated at the bar where they served food as well.

The happy hour was great with good sangria and yummy appetizers. Once seated for dinner, the waiter was helpful with food selection and treated us special! We were full at the end of our meal, but he insisted on giving us a complimentary dessert to-go for my husbands bday.
