The roast beet salad is splendid with various colors of beets, I believe chèvre, and spring greens. The risotto was creamy with perfectly prepared asparagus spears and baby carrots on the top. The food was wonderful and the waiter was the consummate professional. Just attentive enough, never interrupting our conversation, we never felt rushed as we enjoyed the evening. It would probably be 5 stars across the board honestly except service was a tad slow at times, though it was Friday night prime time and the staff was very nice as always.

The remodel and new bar look amazing. My salad and entree were amazing as always, but I expect nothing less from palace cafe.
