Food was good. Lasagna not as good tonight as usual. Had very little meat as compared to a week ago when were there with family. Overall good food. They should serve better bread options. For Italian restaurant bread is not good. Bread knots are used covered in heated butter and raw garlic and are just greasy. If you ask for other bread it is never the same it seems. Nice choices for beer and wine. Overall good place.

Food was good. We took family tonight and they enjoyed the food. Chicken Parmesan is very well done. Lasagna was very good tonight and had a good balance of meat and cheese. Tortellini with chicken also very good. Alfredo sauce is very nicely done. Restaurant should serve better bread is my only complaint. Bread is not consistent and sometimes taste old. Great selection of wine and beer.

Our 3rd time there and brought some friends this time. Always a great meal. My wife absolutely loved the Ravioli & Vodka sauce (so did everyone else who tasted it). The calazones are amazing and so are the specialty pizza's. We had slow service this time, but we chalked that up to a 1st time waitress who had just started and we were he 1st customer. Usually the service is very good. But everyone has to start new sometime in life, so that's OK. We will be coming back!

My daughter's Father-in Law and wife were coming through Atlanta we had only met them once before at the wedding. Paizano's was the best place for a great meal and friendly conversation. The restaurant had our table almost ready but the 5 minutes went fast with an Ipad selfie of us. The appetizers and meal was what we expected, we have gone here before The servers wee attentive but not overly good pace of appetizer, wine and meal. It was the right place for us. Veal special was the best and we are coming back for that again soon.

The food is good but not great... the service adequate but not attentive...little things mar what could be a gem. My reservations were not honored (I came on time and they said we gave your table away since we assumed you weren't coming, although they did get me seated in 10 minutes)... The caprese salad had way too hard tomatoes and a not memorable mozarella... the manicoti was good...the garlic knots are decent but not great... and they were out of ingredients for some signature cocktails...with better management and staff this place could easily improve to a gem... right now it's decent Italian - a notch above Olive Garden...but it could be much more...

My partner and I went to Paizanos on Valentine's Day. We searched OpenTable, found it, booked it and made our way there. WOW we were so impressed. A very kind greeting when we walked in, great bar, people there were so nice. Then we were seated. Our waitress was THE BEST!!! Thanks Kristin for a great time!!! You were so much fun and we really enjoyed our visit. The food was beyond our belief...EVERYTHING was soooo good!!! Calamari, mozzarella sticks, pasta...yum...we will definitely be back. took my wife for V-day, and glad I made that reservation! was very busy. our waitress kept up with all our wants and needs flawlessly. portions were enormous, everyone seemed to be walking out with leftovers. the food was decent, but not outstanding given the entrée prices were 16-18 bucks. the veal was quite tough, but I didn't want to send it back and wait a half hour for a new plate. again, we had a nice time, but I doubt we'll be back.

Decided to stay local for Valentines Day dinner. We were very happy in our choice to visit Paizzano's. The place was packed so the reservation helped tremendously. The food, atmosphere and decor were excellent with the overall service a close second (again note that they were packed). Definitely recommend this place to those who love a great Italian dish or pizza.

I chose this location for a first date. The ambiance was perfect! The restaurant was quiet enough to have intimate conversation yet lively enough to feel a part of the crowd (and I mean CROWD--it was PACKED). We were seated approximately 5 to 10 minutes after our reservation time and the entire staff seemed dedicated to our enjoyment. The food was EXCELLENT, as were the wine and homemade sangria. I recommend the calamari and the Penne Pesto. I can't wait to go back and try something different, though I'll likely stick with the calamari (best I've ever had). I highly recommend Paizano's, be it date night, family night, or friends' night out. I definitely plan to visit again very soon!

Paizano's is in a great old brick building in historic downtown Norcross. The Italian specialties are super sized and well seasoned and served hot! The Eggplant parmesan and Chicken Paizanos are special treats! The dinner salads included with the meal are extremely fresh and crisp-the gorgonzola dressing is not to be missed. The pizzas are another great choice. They are well done with generous toppings. The garlic knots are truly divine. Kids are usually present in early evening and love the food and get the usual crayons and paper. The host - Charlie - never forgets a face and makes you feel like family. Any time we take people here they always are ready to return

It was not busy. Even so, it took too long between server visits to get our drink order, get our drinks, get our food order, bring a to go box, and present and pick up the check. Even worse, was my chicken marsala. It was not made with a sweet marsala wine, as I was told. At least, it didn't taste like it. In fact, the marsala wine sauce was really a marsala wine soup. It was a big puddle on my plate. Since my pasta had marinara sauce, it was served in a separate plate, that was sitting on the same plate as the marsala. So, I didn't realize how soupy the sauce was, at first. When I tasted it, it had very little flavor. We were never served bread. My coffee cup had a crack in it, and they ran out of coffee, after my first cup.

I like the location and the restaurant is cute and comfortable. The food is ok. Nothing outstanding but it didn't seem very fresh. The bread was tasteless. The salad was very good. The Chicken we had was ok but the pasta was dripping in olive oil and was tasteless. The vodka sauce was good but not outstanding. Our waitress did not know how to serve wine and threw the cork away making bringing the bottle home a bit difficult. She did not show us the bottle or present the cork. She then poured 2 glasses without having one of us taste it first. Was awkward. We will not be dining here again.

I do not want to be too critical because over all the place is great. If there is anything that I would improve and the reason I give 4 star overall and 4 for service, is while the staff was friendly and very well intending, it appeared as understaffed and not being present at our table as much as I would have wanted. The waitress (again, otherwise very nice) seemed to be so much in a hurry that when she will ask a question (if we are ready to order appetizer, order main, order drinks etc. she would here only the first answer from one of our group and take that as a group answer, so we were only able to order appetizer late when we were ready with our dinner choices too. We always had our glasses full empty before we can order more.

Our party of four enjoyed a Saturday night dinner of various dishes. We did not order any appetizers, but all had side salads, these amply sized, served cold and crisp. All entrees were pasta-based or had a pasta accompaniment, but the portion size of the protein in the pasta-based dish ordered by one of our women diners was noted as being too small.
