Painted PonyWonderful Mother's Day!!My husband and I enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day meal at the Painted Pony. We had excellent service and the food was delicious. We both had the flounder special and shared the strawberry shortcake desert. It was a great experience as usual. The food is excellent, fresh and creative. We love the beet salad, and never leave without coconut key lime pie (the coconut is in the crust). My husband's dinner was quite good but I would rate mine as a C- at best. The smoked quail was a little tough (though tasty) but the accompanying risotto on sauteed spinach was divine. Also the arugula salad with crispy onions was excellent.
