Pagoda Floating RestaurantOur server, Matt, was veryOur server, Matt, was very attentive and friendly. The food was very good and the portions were pretty large. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!!!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMNice for 2 adults & a toddler.I got the soy sake short ribs and they were EXCELLENT. My husband got the seafood linguine and said it was decent but he wouldn't get it again...he'd get the short ribs!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGood TimesI haven't been to the Pagoda in a long time and my wife has never been. I surprised her with dinner there. After being seated we ordered the sampler platter (pupu's) and the seafood pasta. The waitress was very friendly and offered to split the meal since we were sharing.
The food was pretty good even if the serving sizes were a bit smaller than I expected. While waiting for the appetizer we went outside and my wife bought some koi pellets and fed the fish. It was fun trying to feed the turtles, walking around the scenic area/water falls, and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the lichee sorbet and it was both delicious (with actual lichee pieces and quite large- it was enough for us to easily share).5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWill DEFINITELY go here again!I've been to buffets before, but this is by far one of the better ones I've gone to. The rib eye is hit & miss only because if you go too late then it's been soaking in marinade for a long time and that's all about personal preference. However, I focused more on the seafood and can guarantee that it was amazingly delicious! Though you will need to ask for a shell cracker if you're eating the crab since it's not there with the utensils. But they do have it and they will give you that upon request. Furthermore, aside from the food being great, the service was surprisingly amazing if I do say so myself. The glasses weren't empty for long, coffee was offered (I was freezing so I was thrilled), table was cleaned, and courtesy wasn't a rarity!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe butterfish was good butThe butterfish was good but small portion. The shrimp tempura also tasted good but it was a small shrimp. Would prefer a medium or larger shrimp. The scenery is very nice with a koi fish pond. On the pricey side but ate the early bird special for $18 which was a bit more reasonable.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasantly SurprisedThis restaurant has a buffet and menu option. I am typically not impressed with buffets so I ordered off the menu, my husband got the buffet. I tasted everything on my husbands plate and was surprised at the quality of the food. Everything was really good! And my meal was excellent. I got the Butterfish which was so moist and tasty. The atmosphere is kid friendly and people definitely come here to get their money's worth. The atmosphere is not great for special occasions, but the water around the restaurant and decore is really nice. We will be returning to Pagoda for sure.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed the Happy Hour, greatEnjoyed the Happy Hour, great local pupus selection, and drinks are very reasonable.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat family restaurantBuffet great; service wonderful. Really. But I was stunned at the tab (should've asked first). Even after discount for senior citizens, slightly pricey for (a) large family dinner, (b) tasty/wide selection buffet but not foodie food and (c) pleasant but unfancy ambiance.
Koa pond fantastic for adults and kids.
Parking meter confusing to use and inconvenient (pay outside the lot then go back to car to put ticket on dash).4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic DinnerFirst let me state that initially I was surprised at the restaurants location. It's in a someone less than desirable neighborhood for my taste, however, the buffet more than made up for the location.
I went with my family and my three year old loved the scenic ponds and fish. If you want to keep a little one occupied and interested this is the place for it.
The food was fresh and delicious and I would certainly recommend to others.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
