We were taken aback when we were told at the table that they had "lost" their liquor license a few months ago and the restaurant was BYOB only. I believe we should have been informed of this as it was Valentines day & my wife was looking forward to a champaign toast.

"
This was a great find from the Hilton Hawaiian
Village. More tourists should take advantage
of the local chef talent and Asian Fusion
Specialties. The restaurant was a little hard
to find because it was to the side of a condo
We would highly recommend this excellent
restaurant. Chef Phillippe was generous
with his servings for a 5 star restaurant.
If you can get to the Ala Moana Shops,
Padovani's close by.
He also owns a Chocolate Shop in The Dole
Cannery.(in the Costco Shopping Center)
His chocolates and desserts were worth going
back to repeatly. Local Gem!

We started with the foie gras appetizer which was outstanding. Both the lamb and tenderloin entrees were exceptional and accompanied with fresh vegetables and delicious sauces.
We brought our own wine and the waiter was quick to note that the wine could use a slight chilling to get it to the proper serving temperature. Overall a very pleasant and memorable dining experience.

A great meal. Pleasantly surprised by overall quality and presentation of food. My wife said it was the best piece of fish she's had in years. My Osso Bucco was prepared very well. We'd go back.
