Packet House GrillLoved It!My husband and I ate here for the first time a few days ago (on a Saturday night). We got there around 6:00 so they weren't extremely busy yet. I really liked the atmosphere and the decor. It was perfect for our "date night". Our waitress was great - very knowledgeable and attentive. Our food was wonderful - I had the Richard's filet entree and my husband had the Mojo Chop entree. We were both very impressed with every bit of it. We also splurged for dessert which was the apple strawberry pie (I think that's correct). It was amazing as well. We went for a special occasion and really enjoyed ourselves. I had the Mojo Chop and did green beans instead of the kale. The pork chop was cooked perfectly. It was the right temp and color throughout without burning on the ourside even though it was very thick. The bottom was seared just enough to make it a bit crispy to add some texture. The Mojo BBQ sauce was fantastic and I would love to know what all was in it. If I could buy that at the store it would be on all my grill items. The sweet potato hash and green beans were well prepared and seasoned. The presentation of the plate was also very well done. Desert was strawberry and apple pie. Love the decor and atmosphere. Food is good. Great wine list. I discovered Butternut Chardonnay at the PHG and it has become a favorite. Service was a little too prompt. We felt rushed and we were not in a hurry. We tried to kindly tell our waiter a couple of times to slow down, but didn't seem to matter. Also, we were given a table that was not the greatest. Restaurant was not full, in fact, a rather slow evening for a Friday. Better tables were available. We visited the Packet House Grill for the first time Friday night and are still raving of the positive experience. The filet was phenomenal and our server Jeffrey was amazing. During the meal we kept telling ourselves that we actually feel as if we are still in Nashville. I was overwhelmed as I entered by the beautiful decor. The remodel was highest quality. I loved the expanses of the room where we were (the side with the bar). All sevice people were very attentive: woman who greeted us and took my coat, manager, our waiter. Food was good and prepared in a quirky manner.
