It was awful! Our reservation was for 5:30pm and we were sitted right away but did not get our food until 7:15pm. We had a concert at 8pm. They deep fried the chicken that was on the menu as sauteed. They forgot to put the mash potatoes on the plate with the steak after the waitress went on and on about how great their mashed potatoes were. The food was not even warm. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again. It cost over $200.00 and AWFUL! I was embarrassed after bring my parents there for a "nice" dinner.

The food here was excellent and the service was top-notch. I made the reservation for my friend and I. My friend was visiting Seattle for the weekend and we basically came straight from the airport. We had a last minute addition to our party, her five-month old baby boy. At first, I was worried that we wouldn't get the best of service since this restaurant is more for the mature patron (i.e. elegant dining), but the host and our waiter were extremely helpful with accommodating for the baby, quickly moving chairs around for us and not making a fuss about it. Excellent customer service, delicious food, and and a great wine selection!! Thank you so much, Pacific Grill!

Steak was served way undercooked. Corn cobettes were not even cobbets. Approximately 15 kernels of corn. And only one served. Not overly tasty as advertised. Kal-bi ribs were overly salty and over charred. Salads were not very tasty. Waitress was friendly and knowledgible. Ambiance too dark.

I had heard of the Pacific Grill, but this was my first experience there. Jenny and I had no trouble with Friday night reservations for two (though it was early---6:30 PM). The restaurant is very nice, but not off-putting or too formal. The ahi tartare appetizer was remarkable (I am a raw ahi fan). My rubbed Kobe tri tip was just plain fantastic, and Jenny's lamb was good (though I am not a lamb fan!). The cocktails were great, and the bar menu looked very interesting---a place to go for Happy Hour? Service was a bit slow at first, but the fellow was working hard, was pleasant, and nonobtrusive. All in all, a great experience!

Our server Michael was outstanding. His service was amazing and his knowledge of the small stuff like the silk artwork was appreciated. I realize a recent event migh have sparked my one and only critisizm and that is that when I spend $136 on dinner I would hope in the future that I am not being photographed by a reporter while eating my food. This man spent 20 minutes while eating shooting photographs of myself and girlfriend. I did not appreciat this. It gave a sour taste to the ambiance. Jon Lucich 253-606-8573

we came to celebrate a birthday. Started off with the lobster bisque. It was decent but lacked simple seasoning such as salt and pepper. Continued on to the caprese salad which was good but needed something to set it apart such as balsalmic reduction. Continuing on she had the surf and turf; the tenderloin was cooked perfectly and the fresh crab was outstanding the potatoes were also nice. I had the white bass on pomodoro which was was ok the pasta outshined the fish but overall was a good dish. We finished with the shortcake and fresh berries and a bottlenof the vueve cliquot a nice combination. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu which is hard to find. Overall it was a good experience.

Both my wife and I were highly impressed with every aspect of our dining experience at Pacific Grill. Having numerous other choices of "fine dining" restaurants to choose from to celebrate our 12th anniversary, it was wonderful to find that Pacific Grill remains to be one of the true constants in food quality and exceptional service. The menu never ceases to please no matter what you or a handful of even the pickiest friends you know may be in the mood for. Everything from signature dishes, seasonal food selections, the best bar food menu in town, coupled with top-notch wine and cocktail choices, and impeccable service that is both professional and personable makes Pacific Grill a memorable experience each and every time.Highly recommended!

We had horrible service. We were there for about 45 minutes and decided to have our dinner elsewhere due to the neglectful service from our waitress. All other service people seemed to do a good job though, so maybe we had a new girl. Either way we were dissapointed and will not be back. The appetizer we had was so-so.

My husband and I chose Pacific Grill to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a fabulous experience. I had requested a table that would be more romantic for the occasion, and we were placed in a very cozy booth. Our server, Nathan, did an exemplary job, very nice and attentive throughout the evening. This restaurant does a fabulous job of being chic without being stuffy. We both started with the night's special goat cheese salad, which was wonderful. My New York steak was expertly-prepared, the best I've ever tasted. My husband also loved the lamb he ordered. Sides were delicious, and complemented each entree perfectly. Prices were about $37 for each of our entrees -- reasonable for the generous portions we received.

We visited Pacific Grill after our daughter's high school graduation with my parents who are from California. We especially enjoyed the diverse menu (two of us don't eat seafood). The filet mignon and new york steaks were delicious! Vegetables were done to perfection (the aspargus was crisp, verdant, and tasted divine). The wine list is extensive. We chose a mid-priced white wine that was heavenly. Pre-dinner cocktails consisted of Tangueray Tang martinis (my daughter's shirley temple beverage was always full!) that were beautiful and yummy. The fish people in the group obviously enjoyed their meals. Our waitperson, a delightful young musician (no he didn't play for us, unfortunately), was thoroughly attentive and knowledgeable.

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary at Pacific Grill and were thoroughly pleased with our experience. We chose Pacific Grill because of the culinary skills of Chef/Owner Gordon we had experienced previously at The Beach House. Diane was our server and she was perfect in every way. The Pacifica Cocktail had beautiful fresh seafood nestled in a perfectly spiced cocktail sauce. My scallops were done to perfection and the Oregano Chicken was tender and delightful. The atmosphere is wonderfully lit with the most beautiful, artistic lighting and the valet car service is professional and timely.

The food was superb and the atmosphere fantastic. The lighting, the art, and furnishings just added a special touch to the meal. It was very relaxing. The only disappointment was the service. They may have been short on help, but it was a little annoying that I had to remind the waitress to get my wine on a couple of occasions, request our order to be taken, and look for her again when it was time for dessert. We were not in a rush by any means, but when she did not check in on us once to ask how things were going or if we needed something, I had to go looking for someone to provide service as she was not available. The staff responded by buying us dessert and giving a discount on a future meal.

As usual, the food was outstanding. My friend, who had not eaten at Pacific Grill before, stopped just short of licking her plate. I am still dreaming about my BLT with avocado, which sounds as if it would be pedestrian, but I savored every bite and was sorry I didn't have leftovers to take home. A little too expensive for every day, but I treat myself occasionally, special event or not. I'm ready to go back.

We arrived around 5:15 and neither the valet service or the hostess where in there stations ready to go. We waited in the lobby 5 minutes before we where acknowleged by anyone. Our server lacked confidence and seemed awkward when presenting food and reseting silverware. A single dinner roll was served by the server with a par of tongs and a tiny pat of butter on a bread plate. This felt like the restaurant was trying to control cost by not letting the customer eat more than one dinner roll. They need to get some better bread and put it in a bread basket. The remainder of the meal was nice. The soup was good, along with the entree and dessert. Overall the food was enjoyable, but the service need improving.

We found the Pacific Grill to be snooty but frendly, did not care for the waitress cleaning my table, picking up the sweet-n-low packages for our Ice tea, we felt embarresed, and rushed. They were too matter of fact. The reservations went great, they parked our car as stated, the $10.00 Valet fee was added to our dinner bill so we had to pay tax on it also. Food was great, but I would put the experence of maybe next time I have a lot of mony to spend, way over priced for the whole experience.

Very expensive and the tip is included in the tab. The server will asks you if you want soup or salad with your meal but does not inform that it will be charged as a separate dish and does not come with the meal. The dining setting was fair, the utensils are placed bare on the tables and our dishes were a tiny bit dusty/dirty. Our server was a bit rude and not very friendly. Bathroom was dim and not clean. However, the highlight of the night was the New York steak and the mushrooms which were absolutely delicious.
