  • "My husband and I have eaten out at a lot of good restaurants over the years, but I must say the service at this place was top notch! Very respectful, very helpful, and while right on top of everything we needed was non-intrusive. We had a romantic time and would definitely recommend to others. The food was also great."

  • "Very nice location, known for their martinis, nice atmosphere and great service . Would recommend for a special occasion It is not a place you go to more then once per trip due to prices . It is pricy and the menu not too big ."

  • "After looking for a special occasion restaurant on the north shore we have succeeded. I thought the prices were in line for the food served and the view cannot be beat. Unfortunately, two white wines by the glass my husband tried, were not up to par, especially at $14 a pop. My prosseco was great! Both our fish dishes were spectacular. The scallop appetizer was by far the best app we have had in three weeks. Hot, very tasty, crunchy on top makes my mouth water just thinking about them."

  • "The chef knows his stuff...even makes taro edible! The fish was incredible, and the scallops are not to be missed. If you can, get Bobby as your server...that guy was friendly, efficient, and went way out of his way to make it a great evening."

  • "Adequate but pretentious. The Kula Grille, for all its lack of charm, actually provided a superiior meal. This resort is still finding its way."

  • "We were promptly seated and water was poured right away. The server asked if we would like anything else to drink and I ordered a Bloody Mary and my wife ordered a Mamosa. The Mamosa came relatively quickly, but I had finished eating before I received my Bloody Mary. We had to ask to have the plates cleared and when they did they took the silverware as well. So, when we went back to the buffet for more, we had no silverware to eat it with and we had to wait until the food was cold before we received more. Very limited choice of food and no seafood save smoked salmon. Mostly breakfast food on the line and prepackaged deserts. Overall bad experience and we will not go back to a buffet at Turtle Bay."

  • "great view of the water, and ambiance were amazing. our server seemed to be overwhelmed and didn't keep our drinks refreshed and took a while. but was a great experience, i feel that it was only this that made the night a little bad. as the rest of the service, and servers seemed to be on top of things. great food."

  • "The good: The resort is gorgeous The entrance into the restaurant was truly beautiful (mini waterfall and dimmed lights) Most of the staff were absolutely sweet Now on to the bad points: I reserved a seat by the windows and even called to confirm this. Needless to say we got the exact opposite. Almost a 1/3 of the listed brunch items were not found, I had to request them. The fruit juices were not out, they needed to be requested as well and the waitress brought the wrong juice insisting it's better. I'm from here I know what POG taste like. Even worse, she wouldn't get me my specified juice! I had to insist that I wanted it at least 3x! Everything was cold/undercooked. Stick to dinner @Tbay & Go to Lei lei's, never a disappointment."

  • "We visit Turtle Bay often and always make a point of eating at 21 degrees. The food is always excellent and service usually very good. However, this time around we had a server who actually yelled menu items, your order, specials, etc. maybe he didn't realize but the entire restaurant looked as he went from table to table. He absolutely destroyed what is usually a memorable dinner. We don't plan to returnto this restaurant again."

  • "Overall this place is good. The food is slightly above average. Beautiful view of the ocean while eating, Staff was attentive. We will go back again. This time perhaps just get wine, appetizers and deserts. The salt block was great. The"

  • "The food was ok and the service was adequate. The 4th course surf and turf was paired with a Pinot Noir and it was a dreadful pairing. We told the server and nothing was done to make it right. The meal cost over $320 and for that price I expect better service and fabulous food and wine. This meal was very disappointing for the price!"

  • "21 Degrees was one of our favorite restaurants. Now Pa'akai can be added to that list. The same ambiance and the food is delicious. Can't say anything more except it is nice to be able to go out and know you are going to enjoy the meal"

  • "Our group of four started with perfectely mixed martinis. We then tried the hot salt block and Yellow fin tuna appetizers which were delicious. The main course was two filet mignons, a rib eye steak. and lamb. All were cooked to perfection. The is the best restaurant on the north shore of Oahu."

  • "The ambiance was comfortable and casual yet perfect for special occasions. You can wear slippers and an aloha shirt and fit in with everyone else. And the food was unbelievable. We loved the poke table side -- what a great concept. I loved the Kampachi with sweet potato mash! My friends has a taste of both and wished they had ordered mine. The scallops were so tender and perfectly seasoned! We heard about the salt block and saw others enjoying theirs. I asked our neighboring table how it was and they said "awesome." Next time. We will definitely be back!!"

  • "This restaurant was okay. It was very expensive and had a pretty limited menu of things that were not all appealing. The service was okay. The waiter was pushy in trying to get us to order their chocolate soufflé and though we ordered drinks and salads along with our entrees, seemed put out that we didn't order more. I ordered the mushroom rissotto which was pretty good at first, but not flavorful enough to be great in a dish with so many mushrooms. My husband got the prime rib which he said was very good. We have stayed at Turtle Bay many times and were excited to check out this new restaurant, however for the price and quality of the experience we'd much rather go to Ola, Lei Lei's or Haleiwa Joe's."

  • "My husband and I went for dinner during our honeymoon and loved it. We'd been hitting up local Haleiwa spots and shrimp trucks for most of the week, so it was great to cap the trip with a nice Turtle Bay dinner. We had the tasting menu and all of the courses were delicious. It being Hawaii, I'd highly recommend any of the seafood dishes, and the chocolate haupia ice cream was a tasty treat that I haven't ever had elsewhere. The view was spectacular, and though we were by far the youngest people at the restaurant without kids, the vibe was not overly stuffy."

  • "The food was very good. We had two vegans in our and they were very open and helpful. The tasting menu was amazing and with the wine pairing it was extremely reasonable. The only complain that the restaurant would need to be refurbished a bit. But the view is wonderful so it is still worth the trip. Best Mai tai in Oahu!"
